At this mont, countless mutants approached Tang Zhong, spewing viscous liquid from their mouths. Their skin exhibited nurous small holes, with green liquid oozing out, presumably the mutants’ bodily fluids. The liquid dripped onto the ground with strong corrosive effects, forming several holes!
Now, dozens of mutants charged at Tang Zhong!
Tang Zhong could only keep retreating!
If any of the mutants’ liquid dripped onto Tang Zhong, it would corrode his body!
With a swift slash, he directly severed the mutant’s arm. As expected, liquid gushed out, and when it fell onto the mutant’s body, it instantly lted through, showcasing its enormous power!
Kill!
Tang Zhong tried to avoid direct contact with the mutants while slaughtering them, but he noticed a problem: there were no other footprints underground. Since the ground was covered in viscous blood, any footprints would be clearly visible. Since none existed, it indicated no one else had been here!
This was the scientist’s lair, perhaps there were treasures here!
Tang Zhong decided to explore and see what was below!
At this mont, he was unaware.
Right now, at the temporary camp in the abandoned base!
The camp was an ergency site established by the marauders in the abandoned base for addressing urgent situations!
For instance, if soone was injured by the cha beasts, they needed to be swiftly brought here for treatnt!
An central control computer was present here.
This computer could control the entire abandoned base!
They had established the abandoned base as a testing ground, but it didn’t an the area was free from potential dangers; there were areas they hadn’t explored, unaware of what lay within.
They marked the areas they couldn’t enter as red.
Before them stood a large computer with various color-coded zones, densely packed with three colors. Green represented safe areas, where the cha beasts below could be dealt with, and those who entered could manage it; the yellow zones indicated dangerous areas, unsuitable for most, only the exceptional could survive.
As for the red zones, they were high-risk areas.
Ordinary people absolutely must not enter, or face certain death.
At this mont, several people stared at the computer zones.
Suddenly, a red zone on the computer began flashing, indicating soone had intruded.
Instantly, everyone beca tense.
"How did this happen? Who entered the danger zone?"
A brawny man squinted at the computer ahead, looking extrely grim.
"Quick, stop him," the man said.
"Yes, Commander, seriously, we put danger signs there, how could anyone still enter?"
The man replied, "Stop wasting ti, hurry and save them. Anyone able to enter here is a potential asset for us marauders, losing even one person is a big loss!"
"Yes, Commander!"
Soon, several people swiftly left the temporary camp, boarded a ship, and departed!
anwhile, in the abandoned base.
Tang Zhong continued forward, surrounded by increasing numbers of mutants. Though not physically strained, their sheer numbers drew his attention, as the place had not been mined, indicating potential issues!
Moreover, he noticed that the further he advanced, the stronger the mutants’ prowess beca!
There were even flying cha beasts everywhere. Even more frightening, he moved from a ruined castle to a massive Underground Palace!
The Underground Palace still had various dicine bottles, all filled and stationed on command platforms.
He approached a bottle, observing the liquid inside.
It was green, and the liquid constantly pulsated inside, seemingly ready to erupt at any mont!
This liquid closely resembled the fluid within the mutants’ bodies, indicating previous studies involved injecting this liquid into humans!
This might be a research base!
Tang Zhong had to be even more cautious!
At this mont, Tang Zhong noticed fewer surrounding mutants and that the walls didn’t show signs of extensive damage, evidently indicating no prior battles had occurred here.
Clearly, no one had entered here before!
He just arrived and encountered this situation!
Looking down, he saw nurous luminous black viscous fluids with many red lines within, appearing very eerie!
"What is this?" Tang Zhong squinted his eyes.
Evidently, these black viscous fluids were leaking out from within!
But darkness lingered ahead, revealing nothing!
He proceeded, barely entering the darkness, when a dark shadow swept out!
Tang Zhong quickly raised the Demon Sword to defend himself, unable to discern the shadow’s form!
He only knew the shadow’s power was imnse, forcibly pushing him out!
At this mont, with the faint light from the Demon Sword, Tang Zhong saw the true form of the shadow!
It was a tentacle, akin to an octopus limb, quite thick!
Earlier, this tentacle had expelled him.
The marauders were in this place, but the tentacle was alive; it showed the marauders hadn’t ventured inside!
Now, the tentacle began approaching Tang Zhong, covered with many eyes, blinking. The pupils constantly shifted, squirming around.
Descending from above, it slamd towards Tang Zhong.
Tang Zhong hurriedly raised the Demon Sword to defend.
A rumbling sound ensued.
The tentacle descended, striking Tang Zhong from overhead.
Tang Zhong blocked the descending attack with his sword, which left cracks across the ground as it seed ready to collapse!
Being closest to the tentacle, Tang Zhong saw many golden veins within the appendage, seemingly the source of its continuous power!
Furthermore, these golden veins appeared filled with magma...
Failing to hit, the tentacle struck again.
Like a mountain falling!
The force was too strong, Tang Zhong couldn’t allow this to continue; if it did, his arms would be rendered useless!
He imdiately tightened his grip on the Demon Sword, unleashing a powerful slash!
Just as the tentacle descended.
With a snap, the Demon Sword cleaved the tentacle, leaving fine scars above!
The golden veins inside seed sliced open too, and a gold molten magma-like substance seeped out.
