31: Chapter 31: Aali Fashion Show!
The ti was just about right, and everyone else had finished handing in their papers and walked out of the room, now standing in the hallway.
Li Chuwen collected the papers and then checked the answers inside.
A group of people stood in the hallway, looking at Tang Zhong in shock.
First, they were shocked by how difficult the questions were and that he had finished them all in just five minutes—his speed was terrifying.
Second, they were envious of his night with Li Chuwen, especially considering how shabbily he was dressed.
The man who had sat in front of Tang Zhong earlier now ca over to his side, having fully accepted the fact that he had spent a night with the “goddess.” He whispered into Tang’s ear, “Hey, bro, can you reveal sothing?”
“Speak!” Tang said, as he was desperately trying to hold his nose to stop a nosebleed.
“Well…
tell about that night with Li Chuwen.
Was Wenwen’s Kungfu impressive?” the man asked, starting to blush as he spoke.
“Impressive indeed!” Tang replied.
“How impressive?” the man asked, his face lighting up with excitent.
He knew that pursuing a strong woman like Li Chuwen was harder than reaching heaven, so he instead settled for hearing sothing thrilling.
“Several tis, in and out three tis.
I kept going at her in bursts, and she was amazing too, resisting my pressure and facing it head-on.
After dozens of rounds, we ended up in a tie!” Tang said, equally animated.
Listening to this, the man’s eyes widened, thinking that since he couldn’t catch up to the goddess, hearing this thrilling tale was exciting too!
“And the result?”
“Of course, I won!” Tang exclaid.
“Impressive, big bro, I really admire you!” the man said, his eyes practically sparkling, almost ready to kneel and hug Tang’s legs.
This made Tang a bit frustrated.
It was just a ga of poker, in and out three tis, and his win wasn’t sothing to be admired.
City folks sure know how to play.
“If you want to learn, I can teach you.
Next ti if there’s another round with the black stocking girl, I’ll definitely call you!” Tang said.
Hearing this, the man blushed, imagining the three of them doing that sort of thing.
He felt so embarrassed he imdiately bowed deeply and said, “Thanks, big bro, you’re my lucky star.
From now on, you’re not just my bro; you’re my boss.”
“Huh!” Tang was a bit puzzled.
It was just an invitation to play poker.
Why was this guy so happy?
City folks really aren’t worldly.
Just then, the door of the room opened, and Li Chuwen walked out coldly.
She ca up to everyone and said, “Hu Bing, Zhao Qiang, Wu Xin, and Tang Zhong, you four stay behind.
The rest of you can go now!”
The crowd imdiately erupted into a noisy commotion.
“Why are you making us leave?”
“Yes, give us a reason!”
Li Chuwen remained cold, “The reason is the test scores.
The four I just nad scored the highest, so it’s ti for the rest of you to leave!”
The crowd was still not convinced, but at this mont, Li Chuwen called for security.
The security guards from Leia International ca out wielding batons, and imdiately, those people backed down.
Most had co here hoping to flirt and had fake diplomas, with no real qualifications.
Seeing the security guards, they promptly turned and left.
The man who had been talking to Tang was among them.
He was still looking at Tang with admiration, saying, “I’m Wang Wang, big bro.
Let’s chat more next ti.
Here’s my business card.
If you and Wenwen do that thing again, you must notify !”
Tang laughed.
This guy must be an idiot, but he accepted the business card politely.
The man then left in high spirits.
Here, only the four who passed remained.
Li Chuwen swept her gaze over them coldly and then said, “The four of you, co with .”
The room they entered before.
“Find a place to sit wherever!” Li Chuwen said.
Upon hearing this, Tang Zhong imdiately looked for a seat, but he chose one very far from Li Chuwen, fearing that he couldn’t stop a nosebleed if he got too close.
Li Chuwen ignored Tang Zhong and began to explain, “You four are the candidates who passed the written test, so there is one last assessnt before you can successfully join L’Oréal International.”
At the ntion of the last assessnt, the eyes of everyone but Tang Zhong lit up.
“You must be aware of the nature of our work at L’Oréal International; we primarily deal with costics.
Although we are hiring for PR assistants, you must also be knowledgeable about major events in the fashion world.
Therefore, the final round will consist of questions about major fashion events.
This last round will be a quick-response one with five questions.
The one with the highest score will beco an employee of L’Oréal International!” Li Chuwen explained.
Imdiately, the four began discussing among themselves.
Of course, except for Tang Zhong, the others had no issues.
They had already researched many fashion topics and found answering a few questions to be quite easy.
As for Tang Zhong, he was completely bewildered.
Fashion… he knew nothing about it.
Spending all his ti in Liga Continent, he only saw military uniforms, and Xia Yuqing bought all his clothes.
He had absolutely no concept of brands.
Damn it, was finding a job this hard?
Oh well, he’d take it one step at a ti.
After Li Chuwen finished speaking, she glanced at Tang Zhong, who was dressed in bargain market clothes.
How could such a person understand fashion?
Even if he guessed his way through the written test, what of it?
At that mont, a white screen was slowly lowered from the front of the room; it was to be used for projection.
Suddenly, a scene appeared on the screen: a fashion show in progress, with glamorous female models moving back and forth while various people watched from below.
However, the scene lasted only ten seconds before stopping abruptly.
“The first question: when and where was this fashion show held?” Li Chuwen asked with a smile.
The remaining four began to recall frantically, while Tang Zhong, looking at the female models, felt they looked familiar.
Suddenly, he rembered—no wonder they seed familiar, he was in that scene, dressed in black, protecting soone in the audience.
That person was Kael, the world’s most fortunate fashion connoisseur, with an extrely high status.
That ti, Tang Zhong had taken a bodyguard job, which had also involved attending that fashion show.
Of course, Tang Zhong had no interest in fashion shows, but he was very clear about the tasks he had completed.
He rembered the task was to protect the fashion connoisseur Kael attending the Aria Fashion Show!
Yes… the Aria Fashion Show, that was it!
It seems that year he was 14!
So, the fashion show took place four years ago.
A smile appeared on Tang Zhong’s face, “Four years ago, in Chengcheng, Lanka at the Aria Fashion Show!”
As soon as he said these words, almost everyone in the room was stunned.
Li Chuwen’s eyebrows furrowed, because Tang Zhong was right, and then she looked at him with an expression of disbelief!
