354: Chapter 356: Breaking In!
At that mont, the underground base was in total chaos.
The doctor in the white coat had already seen Tang Zhong entering from the monitor and imdiately issued orders, “Increase the security now, we must capture the intruder!”
The person next to him said, “Doctor, the way that man just dealt with Edward was extrely fierce.
I’m afraid his status in Xuan Country must be very high!”
“What high status?
Edward must have made a mistake, letting soone exploit an opportunity.
You guys, go catch that guy!
I am going to activate the chanism.
Since he’s from Xuan Country, he must be killed, no survivors!” the doctor said.
“Yes!” several people responded and left.
As the doctor turned, he saw Tang Zhong’s figure on the monitor ahead, then imdiately pressed the red button on the instrunt.
At that mont, a buzzing alarm sounded throughout the base.
He was activating the trap!
Typical bases, to prevent intruders, are equipped with chanisms controlled by a master switch; the button the doctor pressed was the chanism button.
At that ti, Tang Zhong was slowly walking down the corridor, seeing the surroundings, sothing he hadn’t expected at all.
At that mont, the buzzing sound started.
Tang Zhong imdiately beca vigilant.
Knowing too well the traps typically found in military bases, he anticipated ambushes here in the Immortal Realm.
While Tang Zhong was contemplating, the walls around him suddenly changed, releasing nurous arrows flying towards him.
Dodge!
Tang Zhong moved swiftly, his body agile like a civet, dodging the initial spot only to see that the place where he had just stood was now covered in arrows.
It was evident how dangerous it was; his previous position was targeted for an arrow assault.
Tang Zhong didn’t linger and dodged again, only to see the spot he just left getting hit by arrows.
After observing carefully, Tang Zhong saw the arrows ca from the wall, and he figured out how they were launched.
Slightly smiling, he looked at the arrows now stuck in the ground, then rolled over them and yanked them all out.
Then targeting the spots that projected the arrows, Tang Zhong released the arrows he held, aiming at a spot ready to shoot.
He saw sparks flying from the wall.
“FirstBlood!” Tang Zhong laughed, then targeted a second spot.
Another arrow flew.
Direct hit, more sparks.
“DoubleKill!”
The third, the fourth, up to the fifth—each arrow released caused another arrow firing zone to fail.
“PantaKill!” Tang Zhong shouted.
The chanisms, controlled by the doctor, saw Tang Zhong remaining unscathed and even damaging so traps, further infuriating the doctor.
He typed a sequence of codes on the controller and then pressed the red launch button.
He hastened the arrow shooting.
He refused to believe the Xuan Country man could escape.
At that mont within the base, Tang Zhong could of course notice the increased speed of the arrows.
It seed he had to deal with them all.
Glancing at the arrows in his hand, and then at the wall chanisms, he said to himself,
“A dozen arrows to handle a dozen chanisms should be enough!” Tang Zhong’s face showed a grin.
Suddenly, he rolled on the ground, holding the arrows, scanning the wall chanisms, aiming, and shooting!
In that instant, the arrows flew from his hand.
The arrows whistled through the air, and in an instant, a dozen arrows struck different spots simultaneously, damaging the chanisms.
Suddenly, sparks burst out continually from the chanisms, cracking noisily, but no more arrows were shot from them.
The doctor, watching everything through the monitor within the base, saw that the arrows were failing to reach Tang Zhong and that the chanisms were now destroyed, frustratingly gritted his teeth, “This damned guy!
How can he be so skilled?
It’s infuriating.”
He continued to type codes, refusing to believe that the chanisms couldn’t be fixed.
But no matter how many codes he wrote, the chanisms remained inactive.
The doctor, disbelieving, tried several more tis.
Suddenly, with a loud boom, the entire machine sparked and exploded.
“Damn it!”
But at that mont, suddenly, the doctor saw a face appearing on the screen, and speaking, even more infuriating him.
Because on the screen was Tang Zhong, having destroyed all the chanisms, he saw a monitor.
Standing in front, he straightened his hair, then said, “Hello, can you hear ?
People inside, lay down your weapons, surrender for redemption!”
The doctor infuriatingly stomped his foot.
From where did this guy co?
“If you don’t surrender, then I’m sorry!” Tang Zhong continued, then punched the monitor.
Directly causing it to explode.
The doctor just about to curse, saw the monitor had no more visuals, just snowy static.
He now wanted even more to kill Tang Zhong and directly issued a command, “All personnel, the intruder from Xuan Country must be killed!”
“Yes!” the others imdiately complied.
After destroying the monitor, Tang Zhong continued to move forward.
This base was not particularly large, probably extending about twenty ters underground, through a series of corridors.
How could Tang Zhong let these people go?
He directly stord into the base.
The people inside the base also spotted Tang Zhong.
“That Xuan Country man has entered, stop him!”
Several people dressed in white research attire imdiately ca out with knives.
The doctor was among them, looking at Tang Zhong, his eyes flashing coldly.
“You damned Xuan Country man, you destroyed our hard work!” the doctor cursed directly at Tang Zhong.
Tang Zhong showed a mocking expression, looking at the doctor, he laughed, “You old cuss, it looks like you really will die old.
And you talk about this being your hard work.
I’m telling you all to get lost!”
“Presumptuous, audacious Xuan Country man, since you have discovered our secret, you must die!” the doctor coldly said.
“Fine, let’s see who dies first!” Tang Zhong laughed, but then his gaze fell on a box in the doctor’s hand, narrowing his eyes, he had a feeling there was sothing inside the box.
