After the military training ended, Ning Aoxue received a call from Ning Fuxun, asking her to co ho and "communicate" with her personal bodyguard. The crucial thing was, Ning Aoxue had no idea he was even hiring one.
"I’m safe at school; I don’t need a bodyguard. Besides, if a bodyguard followed around campus all the ti, who would dare approach ? What? The bodyguard is a *man*?!"

"I absolutely disagree! The bodyguard should protect *you*. I don’t need a bodyguard, and certainly not a male one!" Ning Aoxue declared before promptly hanging up.
However, Ning Fuxun called back. "Aoxue, you’re a sensible college student now. I’ve had several near-death experiences lately, and I don’t want anything to happen to any of you. Your mother, your younger sister, and I are safe at ho with Uncle Wang protecting us. You’re the one who’s always out, so I’ve hired an exceptionally skilled bodyguard for you. He’s also a student at Jiangzhou University. His character... Well, I trust his character."
When Ning Fuxun ntioned Lin Feng’s character, he recalled Lin Feng agreeing to the bodyguard job for a monthly salary of 100,000. This guy loves money, that’s one thing, but he isn’t lecherous, is he?

Switching from a hard to a soft approach, Ning Fuxun knew this tactic would work on the sensible and independent Ning Aoxue. By playing on her concern for the family’s safety—his ’feigned hardship’ strategy—he successfully convinced her. Ning Aoxue agreed to co ho at noon to et the bodyguard first and discuss things further.
At noon, Ning Fuxun sent a bodyguard to discreetly pick Ning Aoxue up from Jiangzhou University and bring her back to their villa.
Ning Aoxue got out of the car and walked to the villa’s entrance, only to see Lin Feng also standing there, ringing the doorbell.
"Hey, you’re at the wrong place! Which master of yours wasn’t watching you properly and let you wander off here?" Ning Aoxue was already upset with her father for hiring a male bodyguard. Now, seeing Lin Feng, whom she already disliked, her tone was naturally laced with hostility.
Lin Feng saw Ning Aoxue in her denim shorts and was montarily stunned. "Cut the crap! I’m in a terrible mood today. If you don’t get out of my way, I won’t be so polite anymore!" Ning Aoxue rembered she was ho to et a male bodyguard, and her mood instantly soured. So annoying!
"Bad mood? Heh heh, it’s alright. Girls, you know, have *those* few days every month. It’ll pass if you just endure it..."
"You... pervert!"
As soon as Lin Feng said this, Ning Aoxue’s face flushed crimson. She turned and saw the two male bodyguards behind her smirking, making her feel so ashad she wished the ground would swallow her up. This Lin Feng is unbelievably thick-skinned!
Both embarrassed and enraged, Ning Aoxue said nothing more, simply lifting her slender, jade-like leg to kick Lin Feng.
However, just as she raised her leg, the villa’s main door opened. Ning Fuxun walked out, saw the scene, and quickly shouted, "Aoxue, don’t be rash! Brother Lin Feng is our esteed guest."
"Dad, what did you say?"
Ning Aoxue lowered her leg, looking from Ning Fuxun to Lin Feng in disbelief. Suddenly, a thought struck her, and she asked, "Dad, the bodyguard you hired for ... it couldn’t be *him*, could it?"
Hearing this, Ning Fuxun nodded gravely. "Yes. You two know each other?"
Ning Aoxue’s face reddened. Without looking at Lin Feng, she huffed, "No, I don’t!"
Ning Fuxun then chuckled. "Well, if you don’t know each other, then get acquainted now. Aoxue, this is the personal bodyguard I hired for you. His na is Lin Feng. He also studies at Jiangzhou University. Coincidentally, you’re even in the sa faculty. That makes things much more convenient."
"Convenient? Convenient for what?" Ning Aoxue retorted, displeased.
"Convenient for him to protect you, of course," Ning Fuxun said with a smile. Then, turning to Lin Feng, he continued, "Brother Lin Feng, co, let introduce you. This is my elder daughter, Ning Aoxue. Heh heh, let’s go inside and eat. We can chat more at the dinner table."
The three of them walked into the living room. Inside, a beautiful middle-aged woman in a pale yellow T-shirt was present. She bore so resemblance to Ning Aoxue, but she appeared much gentler. This was Ning Aoxue’s mother, Yang Yuqing.
"Lin Feng, get over here for a second!"
As soon as Lin Feng stepped into the living room, Ning Aoxue, who was standing in the hallway, hissed at him in a low voice.
