"You just happened to need the bathroom right then? What a coincidence?" Zhang Lieke had also noticed the illogical parts of Zhang Dafei’s words and said, "Lin Feng wouldn’t have pushed you into the urinal for no reason, would he? Was there so other cause?"
Zhang Dafei and Chen Liang exchanged glances, hesitating. They definitely wouldn’t admit ng Zelong had sent them to deal with Lin Feng; that would be like walking right into the line of fire.
So, they both fell silent.

Inside the classroom, the students, who were in the middle of self-study, began to whisper among themselves.
"Lin Feng actually shoved Chen Liang and Zhang Dafei into the urinal all by himself? No way! He’s that fierce?" a male student exclaid.
"You boys are unbelievable! Couldn’t you find a better place to fight than the bathroom? And look at the result—not only do you reek, but you’ve made everyone else stink too..." a female student said, fanning her nose with her hand, a look of disgust on her face.
"How did Lin Feng get mixed up with those two troublemakers?" a student asked curiously.
"Who knows? Hey, isn’t Tang Rou pretty close to Lin Feng? We could ask her."
Several students whispered amongst themselves. A girl sitting behind Tang Rou gently tapped her shoulder and asked, "Tang Rou, how did Lin Feng manage to provoke Chen Liang and his gang?"
Tang Rou’s seat wasn’t far from the window, so she had overheard most of the conversation outside. When she heard the other students ntion asking her, she imdiately grew nervous.
This has nothing to do with ; why would my classmates ask about it?
"I-I don’t know... It’s soone else’s business," Tang Rou stamred.
"Haven’t you been studying with Lin Feng lately? Didn’t he tell you anything?"
"I... No... Oh, honestly, you guys are reading too much into this! We’re just studying together, encouraging each other, and working hard... I’m not as gossipy as you are. I’m not talking to you anymore; I’m trying to study."
Tang Rou, blushing beet red from the questions, quickly tried to back out of the conversation. Lately, many rumors about her and Lin Feng had been circulating in class, making her quite restless. Yet Lin Feng, that guy, was like a block of wood, acting as if nothing was happening and living quite carefreely.
"Really? Hehe, you’re already studying together. Don’t tell us it’s just pure friendship," the girl behind her teased.
"It’s true, it’s true..." Tang Rou, annoyed and blushing deeply, said, "My relationship with Lin Feng isn’t what you think... We’re just... good friends, that’s all. We were schoolmates back in junior high." She racked her brain, trying to co up with plausible reasons.
「...」
"Director Zhang, we were actually looking for Tang Rou from Class 1," Zhang Dafei blurted out, a sudden idea striking him.

The mont the na "Tang Rou" was ntioned, the students near the window all turned in unison to look outside.
"Looking for Tang Rou? What do you want with her?" Zhang Lieke asked curiously.
Zhang Dafei said, "Director Zhang, well... actually, many students in our school know that our good friend, ng Zelong, has liked Tang Rou from Class 1 for a long ti. He started pursuing her in his first year of high school. So today, he asked us to co over and invite Tang Rou to dinner tonight..."
Even Lin Feng had to admit Zhang Dafei’s lying skills were impressive. This guy sure reacts quickly, he thought.
As Zhang Dafei spoke, dozens of pairs of ears in the classroom perked up, intently listening to what he would say next.
"We hadn’t even reached Class 3’s classroom yet; we were just using the restroom nearby. In there, Chen Liang and I were discussing how to ask Tang Rou out. Lin Feng must have overheard us and ambushed us from behind without any warning. Director Zhang, this is absolutely true! If I’m lying, I’m a puppy!" Zhang Dafei declared with great "seriousness."
"Then why did you say earlier that you were just wandering around?" Zhang Lieke asked.
"Um... the school... doesn’t allow students to date, right?" Zhang Dafei explained.
「...」
Inside the classroom, a gossipy girl exclaid, "I get it! ng Zelong and Lin Feng must be fighting over Tang Rou!"
"Huh? Really?"
"It’s highly likely! Think about it: everyone knows ng Zelong has been pursuing Tang Rou. And recently, Tang Rou and Lin Feng have been... you know... *that*. If you think about it, Lin Feng has beco a love rival to ng Zelong, one of the school’s Four Great Bullies. How could he not get beaten up?" the girl explained confidently.

The surrounding students looked as if they’d had an epiphany, and they all simultaneously turned their gazes toward Tang Rou, who was sitting at the front.
Tang Rou was currently focused on her studies and seed to show no reaction, but another girl noticed that Tang Rou’s face was flushed all the way to the roots of her ears.

"You still haven’t clearly explained why Lin Feng pushed you into the urinal," Zhang Lieke asked calmly.
"Director Zhang, isn’t it simple? Lin Feng also likes Tang Rou, and he got jealous when he heard us talking."
"Oh!"
The mont Zhang Dafei said this, gasps of surprise rippled through the classroom. So Lin Feng really *did* like the class beauty, Tang Rou! No wonder!
"Zhang Dafei, you really know how to spin a tale. Your bullshitting skills are truly unparalleled; you could probably talk a dead man back to life," Lin Feng laughed.
"Lin Feng, you bastard, don’t you deny it! Do you dare say you never uttered the words, ’Tang Rou is my woman’?" Zhang Dafei suddenly roared.
"OH!"
This statent landed like a clap of thunder on a clear day. Waves of astonished cries erupted from the classroom. Teacher Li shouted loudly for quiet, but to no avail. He eventually gave up and walked to the window, apparently quite curious about the matter himself.
Everyone, from Zhang Lieke outside to all the students inside, now fixed their gazes on Lin Feng, who stood outside the classroom, his expression barely flickering.
Tang Rou’s cheeks had long since turned crimson. That sentence made her heart inexplicably race. She forced herself not to turn her head to look outside, pretending to be engrossed in her studies. However, her mind had already flown out of the classroom; she was more nervous than anyone else.
Silence!
The quiet was absolute!
All eyes were focused on Lin Feng, waiting for the words from his lips!
After a few seconds of silence, Lin Feng looked up and said with a slight smile, "I did say that."

The classroom instantly erupted as if an anthill had exploded; those words were an absolute bombshell of a scandal!
An obscure student declaring to the class beauty, "You are my woman." Such a scene really stretched the imagination!
For a mont, the students in the classroom completely lost any inclination to study and began discussing fervently in hushed tones.
"Um... I haven’t finished speaking yet..."
Just then, outside the classroom, the boy who was the focus of everyone’s attention suddenly spoke again.
