Hearing Lin Feng’s boast, Song Cai’s face twisted with anger. He quickly scrambled into his Maserati, swearing nacingly, "I don’t believe it! You think you can fly in that shabby Passat? Tang Rou, just you wait. I’ll make sure that brat loses all face before , Song Cai!"

The roar of the Maserati engine quickly filled the air and, without hesitation, it sped off, leaving them in its dust.

As the Maserati passed by, Lin Feng clearly saw Song Cai in the silver sports car, arrogantly flipping him the bird.

"Damn it!" Lin Feng’s anger surged. There’s no way in hell I’m putting up with this bastard! I’m going to teach Song Cai a lesson he won’t forget.

"Lin Feng, are you really going to race Song Cai? We’re not in a rush; it’s okay if we’re a little late." After getting into the car, Tang Rou looked at Lin Feng with concern. It was clear she worried he would take the race too seriously and be in a foul mood if he lost to Song Cai—after all, a Passat was worlds apart from a Maserati.

"Don’t worry, that bastard won’t beat ." Lin Feng smiled nonchalantly and started the car. Pushing the pedal to the tal, the Passat let out a deep roar as its speed climbed to 100 kiloters per hour within ten seconds—the car’s maximum acceleration.

The evening rush hour traffic in Jiangzhou City was already heavy. Compounded by it being a national holiday, the flow of cars was downright horrifying.

In such conditions, even a Maserati, let alone a Bugatti Veyron, would be lucky to manage 30 kiloters per hour. A slight fender-bender could an hundreds of thousands in repair fees. Song Cai, intent on embarrassing Lin Feng, found himself completely stymied by the gridlock, his temper fraying.

No matter what, Lin Feng is behind . There’s no way he can pass ! Just as Song Cai was thinking this, he suddenly spotted a Passat in his rearview mirror, expertly weaving through the traffic. In the blink of an eye, it pulled up alongside his Maserati.

"Bastard, eat my dust!" Lin Feng crudely flipped Song Cai off with both hands and roared with laughter as he sped away. His Passat seed to ignore the congestion entirely, aggressively accelerating and weaving through cars before vanishing into the sea of traffic in an instant.

Song Cai felt utterly humiliated, his face ashen as if he’d swallowed a turd. His hands clenched the steering wheel, and he remained silent. No matter how furious he was, there was nothing he could do; the sports car was brand new, bought just last month. Even if his father was loaded, he wouldn’t buy him another one so soon.

His composure wasn’t as unshakeable as Lin Feng’s, nor were his skills a match. Song Cai could only swallow his fury.

「...」

Half an hour later, Lin Feng’s Passat pulled into the outdoor parking lot of the Tianyue Club. Weaving through traffic the entire way, he had impressively managed to maintain an average speed of 80 kiloters per hour.

"Phew! We’re finally here..." Tang Rou sighed in relief, her face a little pale. She had never experienced such an intense car ride. If Lin Feng hadn’t been the one driving, she would have insisted on getting out long ago.

Lin Feng had been about to gloat, but seeing Tang Rou’s complexion, he inwardly cursed. Damn, I ssed up. He’d been so focused on teaching that brat Song Cai a lesson that he’d completely forgotten to consider Tang Rou’s feelings. For the past half hour, he’d driven the Passat like an armored combat vehicle.

After parking the car, Lin Feng reached out and gently caressed Tang Rou’s smooth, pale cheek, asking softly, "Tang Rou, are you okay?"

At Lin Feng’s intimate touch on her cheeks, Tang Rou’s face instantly flushed crimson. Even though they had shared intimate monts before, she couldn’t suppress the wave of shyness welling up from deep within her.

"I-I’m fine, just... just a little dizzy," Tang Rou mumbled, not daring to et Lin Feng’s gaze.

Looks like she’s a bit carsick, Lin Feng thought. He searched his mory for massage techniques and recalled that pressing acupoints on the ears could effectively prevent and treat motion sickness and nausea.

"Let give you a massage." Lin Feng unbuckled his seatbelt. He took hold of Tang Rou’s delicate, rosy ears with both hands, gradually infused his Inner Strength, and gently massaged them. After about a minute, Lin Feng softly asked, "Tang Rou, feeling any better?"

"Ah... Mmm..." Tang Rou let out two soft sounds, her tone a little strange, like a kitten’s wl—utterly captivating.

Don’t tell it didn’t work? Lin Feng looked at Tang Rou’s face, puzzled. Her cheeks were flushed, her almond eyes glistening as if she were desperately trying to suppress her voice.

No way, she’s reacting already? Lin Feng knew Tang Rou was sensitive, but he’d never imagined she was *this* sensitive. Just a few dozen seconds of massage, and she was already responding.

"Lin Feng, you... you’re so bad... doing this to here..." After another dozen seconds or so, Tang Rou finally caught her breath. She kept her eyes closed as she spoke, extrely shy. Her carsickness symptoms were apparently gone.

Faced with Tang Rou’s devastatingly cute coquetry, Lin Feng felt an itch in his heart too. I really wish I could just take her right here, right now. To hell with the class reunion; we can do that another ti when we’re free.

However, this was a busy public parking lot. No matter how bold Lin Feng was, he had no interest in putting on a live show for everyone. He suppressed his desire and explained to Tang Rou with a grin, "Girl, you’ve really got wrong this ti! Although I’d really love to have so ’car-shaking’ fun with you, now’s not the ti! Your junior high classmates are still waiting for you..."

When Tang Rou heard Lin Feng’s explanation, her face burned hotly again, the crimson blush spreading all the way to her earlobes. Lin Feng denying he was deliberately teasing just proves I was overthinking things! This is mortifying! How could I have such wicked thoughts, actually misunderstanding that Lin Feng wanted to do... *that*... here...

After dawdling for a few more minutes, Tang Rou shyly got out of the car with Lin Feng. She followed him towards the entrance of the Tianyue Club, where a dozen or so young n and won, roughly their age, stood chatting and laughing.

"Ah! Tang Rou, our class beauty is here!" A flamboyantly dressed woman suddenly rushed forward and greeted Tang Rou with an exaggerated shout, attracting everyone’s attention.

"Liu Yan, hi. Long ti no see!" Tang Rou greeted the woman gracefully. She was polite on the surface, but her eyes showed little excitent.

Shouldn’t old classmates be happy to see each other? Lin Feng found Tang Rou’s attitude a bit strange. Seeing she had no intention of introducing him, he curbed his curiosity and said nothing.

The dozen or so young n and won who had been standing aside sward over when they saw Tang Rou, fawning over her like stars around the moon. They greeted her with great enthusiasm; so praised her for growing even more beautiful, while others indirectly inquired about the car she arrived in. They all seed incredibly eager. Yet, not a single one of them thought to greet Lin Feng, even though he was standing right beside Tang Rou the whole ti.

At first, Lin Feng hadn’t minded. But when Song Cai’s silver Maserati screeched to a halt—SCREECH!—in front of the club, Tang Rou’s old classmates imdiately abandoned her. They flocked around Song Cai, showering him with even more fervent greetings and concern. Lin Feng finally understood: So, the people waiting at this entrance are all just a bunch of fawning sycophants.

"Lin Feng, I’m sorry about earlier," Tang Rou weakly explained, afraid he might misunderstand. "These... classmates... I don’t want to associate with them much, so I didn’t introduce you."

"It’s fine. I’m not interested in knowing them either," Lin Feng smiled nonchalantly, though inwardly he was sneering. A bunch of snobs! Even if they knelt and begged to acknowledge them, I couldn’t be bothered.

Just then, a dapper Song Cai climbed out of the Maserati. He handed his keys to the club’s valet attendant, shrugged off the classmates shalessly crowding around him, and fixed Lin Feng with a cold stare, arrogantly declaring, "Don’t think this ans you’ve won. Just you wait! I will definitely make Tang Rou leave you!"
