Cai Xiaobao’s background was similar to Xie Hong’s; both hailed from wealthy rchant families with assets exceeding a hundred million. Cai Xiaobao also knew Ma Enhua. When he saw Xie Hong and Ma Enhua lose their temper and slap Li Huijin, he instinctively wanted to know what had upset them. After all, Li Huijin was just a plaything to him. Why would he offend both Xie Hong and Ma Enhua for such a shallow woman?
Facing Cai Xiaobao, Xie Hong gritted his teeth and remained silent. He was still unsure about Cao Ying’s identity and felt a twinge of guilt towards Cai Xiaobao and Li Huijin. He didn’t look at Cai Xiaobao, but turned his gaze to Ma Enhua instead.
Ma Enhua saw Cai Xiaobao’s puzzled expression and knew that Cao Ying hadn’t revealed her identity. His mind was racing. In response to Cai Xiaobao’s confusion, he finally adopted a cold expression and said lightly, "I don’t know why, but I just find this woman irritating. Xiaobao, take my advice: be careful who you associate with in the future. Don’t accidentally provoke soone you can’t afford to, lest you die without knowing how."
After hearing Ma Enhua’s obvious warning, Cai Xiaobao finally realized that Cao Ying and Lin Feng were not simple individuals. He was inwardly grateful for Ma Enhua’s warning and now understood that this foolish woman, Li Huijin, had offended soone even Young Master Ma was wary of. She truly deserved to die!
If fools could beco smart, then the world wouldn’t have so many idiots...
Li Huijin, having been slapped by both Ma Enhua and Xie Hong, failed to notice their unusual attitudes. Instead, she shrieked with extre self-importance and hysteria, "Xie Hong, you bastard! Just a mont ago, you were calling ’sister-in-law’ so warmly. And now, for so shaless, stinking woman, you dare hit ! Is it just because she’s a bit prettier? I was the one who introduced her to you, damn it! You’re so ungrateful! And this Ma fellow, where did this moron co from? Does talking to this stinking woman bother you? Who the hell are you anyway?"
Cai Xiaobao began to regret getting involved with such a bizarre woman. He was relieved he hadn’t impulsively brought her to et his parents; otherwise, he’d be utterly despised by all his gossiping relatives!
Xie Hong was thoroughly cursed out by Li Huijin but didn’t retort. He felt he was sowhat in the wrong. What was most inappropriate was hitting his bro’s girl in front of Cai Xiaobao; after all, one had to give their brother so face.
Ma Enhua’s eyes widened, ready to reprimand Li Huijin again. He couldn’t care less about Cai Xiaobao’s pride. If this crazy woman dared to slander Cao Ying in front of him and he didn’t teach her a proper lesson, it would be a major issue if the Cao Family held a grudge.
"Enough!" Cao Ying suddenly slamd her cup down, rubbed her temples, and sighed, speaking with so irritation, "Stop arguing, all of you. Whoever brought her here should take her back!"
Seeing Cao Ying speak up, Ma Enhua also refrained from saying more.
Cai Xiaobao knew sothing was wrong and tried to pull Li Huijin away.
"Let go of ! Cai Xiaobao, are you crazy? Why are you listening to this stinking woman?" Li Huijin struggled free from Cai Xiaobao’s grasp, glaring as she said, "She tells you to take away, and you just obediently listen? Is she your mother or your grandmother? You useless man, stay away from !"
Li Huijin pushed Cai Xiaobao away, then pulled a gold card from her purse and said provocatively to Cao Ying, "Cao Ying, let tell you, I have a VIP card for this bar! It gets a 20% discount and priority seating. Why should I listen to you? Cai Xiaobao is afraid of offending those two n who are after you, but I’m not! I’ll sit in the main hall if I want to, and I’ll go into a private room if I want to. What can you do about it?"
"VIP cards? We have those in our bar?" Lin Feng glanced at the card in Li Huijin’s hand, which indeed read ’Fenghuo Bar VIP Card,’ and turned to ask Xie Nan.
"That was Pan Lizheng’s idea. That guy has studied a lot and has plenty of clever sches. He said it stimulates consumption or sothing. I don’t really understand it," Xie Nan explained quietly in Lin Feng’s ear.
Li Huijin, however, didn’t realize Lin Feng was asking Xie Nan. Hearing his question, she grew even more smug, staring at Lin Feng and saying arrogantly, "You country bumpkin, you don’t even recognize a VIP card? This is a gold card! I’ve spent at least fifty thousand yuan in this bar to get it! Do you have one?"
Lin Feng was sowhat speechless. He didn’t have a gold card, but it seed this bar was partly his...
"I’d like to see who has to leave! Hey, waiter, co over here..." Li Huijin persisted, waving towards the counter. She called over a junior mber of the Loyalty Gang, casually handed her gold card to the young man and, pointing arrogantly at the booth where Lin Feng and the others were sitting, said, "I’ve taken a fancy to this spot. Arrange it for . Have them pay their bill early or move to another table!"
"Brother Feng, hello! Brother Nan, hello..." The young man didn’t take Li Huijin’s gold card. Instead, he bowed and greeted Lin Feng and Xie Nan. His face was all smiles and flattery, but inwardly he was cursing. Where did this crazy woman co from, telling to kick out the two big bosses of the bar to make way for her? Are you sleepwalking or drunk?!
"This doesn’t concern you. Go back to your work!" Lin Feng waved the young man away.
The front desk attendant breathed a sigh of relief and scurried away, completely ignoring Li Huijin from start to finish.
At this mont, the expressions on Xie Hong’s and Cai Xiaobao’s faces beca quite spectacular. They had never taken Lin Feng and Xie Nan seriously, assuming them to be rely Cao Ying’s ordinary friends. Even when they eventually realized Cao Ying’s identity was unusual, they never imagined two eighteen or nineteen-year-old boys would amount to much...
However, the way the front desk attendant addressed the two finally made them understand: Lin Feng and Xie Nan were the owners of this bar! Poor Li Huijin. She had been looking down on Lin Feng and Xie Nan all along, mocking them for not being able to afford a private room or red wine...
The foolish Li Huijin also realized that the two n she had consistently disregarded were actually the bar owners. Even if Fenghuo Bar was small, they were still the bosses. Was she in any position to compare?
Li Huijin was just relying on Cai Xiaobao’s money to put on airs. She had no inco of her own. More importantly, even Cai Xiaobao was just a college student. His family was well-off, so he had a bit more spending money, but he didn’t have his own business yet!
Ma Enhua, however, wasn’t surprised in the slightest. It wouldn’t be astonishing for the mayor’s daughter’s boyfriend to own even ten bars.
"Have this gold card canceled," Lin Feng said, not even sparing Li Huijin a glance as he turned to Xie Nan, his tone decisive. "Letting a brainless woman like her in here will affect the mood of other custors, and that’s not good."
"Okay! Brother Feng!" Xie Nan agreed without the slightest hesitation. He didn’t care one bit if canceling a VIP card would affect their reputation or anything. As long as Lin Feng said the word, so what if he had to give all his shares in the bar to Lin Feng?
"You run a business, how can you do this? I’m going to report you for comrcial fraud!" Li Huijin’s expression changed. Although she now knew Lin Feng’s and Xie Nan’s identities, upon hearing Lin Feng wanted to cancel her VIP card, she still retorted stubbornly. This was the VIP card she had only managed to get after swiping Cai Xiaobao’s credit card over a dozen tis, and who knew how many nights she had toiled in bed to please Cai Xiaobao for it!
"In that case... A’nan, have soone drag her out. Take the card back, delete her spending records, and from now on, don’t let her take a single step into Fenghuo Bar!" Lin Feng instructed Xie Nan with an air of nonchalance, leaving everyone around them stunned...
Damn, Lin Feng’s thods were too tyrannical!
