Yan Su couldn't fathom why his casual knock on the door had resulted in Lin Feng glaring at him as if he were his father's murderer.
Just a few minutes prior, after Yan Su had brought Lin Feng to visit Wu i, he suddenly rembered that his earlier explanation hadn't been very clear. He had returned to clarify to Lin Feng that Wu i's forehead was singed not because his warning ca too late, but because she hadn't had ti to move all her intelligence docunts before the fire broke out. She had insisted on transferring the intelligence files and destroying the equipnt before finally leaving the scene.
He hoped Lin Feng wouldn't misunderstand him… With this thought, Yan Su knocked on Wu i's door.
Yan Su knocked and waited a full half minute. Just as he was about to conclude that everyone inside was asleep, he heard the RUMBLE of a sofa being dragged across the floor. Imdiately after, the door slid open with a CREAK, revealing Lin Feng's murderous face!
"Yan Su, what do you want?!"
Lin Feng's face was dark, his voice deep, and his stare murderous. Yan Su felt a wave of guilt wash over him.
"COUGH, COUGH... Did I co at a bad ti?" Yan Su asked nervously, seeing Lin Feng's expression and suspecting he had interrupted sothing.
Then, Yan Su even peeked into the room but couldn't see Wu i anywhere.
At that mont, Wu i, completely naked, was hiding under the blankets, snickering.
"What do you think?" Lin Feng rolled his eyes. At this point, he was seething. Even though he knew this wasn't the ideal ti and place to get intimate with Wu i, passion had been flaring between them in the charged atmosphere, and Lin Feng was preparing to throw caution to the wind for a quick round. Who would have thought his plan would fail! What annoyed him even more was that the one knocking was Yan Su, the very person he had been resenting just monts ago.
This was simply pouring oil on the fire. How could Lin Feng not be frustrated? But it wouldn't be appropriate to vent his frustration on Yan Su. He could only bottle it up, giving Yan Su a disgruntled look.
"I see…" Yan Su stamred, sowhat embarrassed. "Well, why don't you two carry on? I'll co back later?"
Upon hearing Yan Su's words, Lin Feng was speechless. What did he an by 'co back later'? Doesn't he understand anything about setting a mood? After his constant interruptions, even if their desire was burning, it had been thoroughly extinguished by now!
Lin Feng looked up at Yan Su's earnest face, thinking to himself. Yan Su looks to be in his late twenties, but how can he be so clueless? Could he still be a virgin?
Well… it seems pretty likely! A slight smirk touched Lin Feng's lips. He shook his head and said indifferently, "Forget it. Just say what you need to now. I have things to do later…"
Lin Feng not only had sothing to do, but it was also an extrely urgent matter that would take a considerable amount of ti.
"'Here?'" Seeing Lin Feng's resolute stance, Yan Su knew Lin Feng had no intention of letting him in. He felt a surge of frustration. What I need to tell him concerns Wu i's classified identity; how can I just blurt it out in the hallway?
"What else do you suggest?" Lin Feng rolled his eyes. While he trusted Yan Su wouldn't hurt him or do anything detrintal, there was a naked woman—his woman—in the room. No matter how magnanimous he might be, he wouldn't invite Yan Su in under such circumstances!
"If it's still inconvenient for you, then… never mind… I'll tell you later!" Yan Su nodded solemnly at Lin Feng and left without another word.
"'Damn it all…'" Lin Feng watched Yan Su leave so nonchalantly he almost cursed aloud in frustration. Damn it, this guy must have co to stir up trouble on purpose!
However, since Yan Su had left, Lin Feng had no intention of chasing him down to settle scores. He could only close the door grumpily, push the sofa back against it, and then walk towards the large bed with a grin.
Just when Lin Feng thought he could rekindle his intimacy with Wu i, she, who was lying on the bed, suddenly looked at him seriously and said, "Lin Feng, I have sothing important to tell you…"

"Alright, go ahead…" Hearing Wu i speak like this, Lin Feng had no choice but to suppress his desire and said helplessly.
"After Yan Su and I were undercover investigating the Qingzi Sect for a while…" Wu i looked at Lin Feng and calmly began, "we've discovered a serious problem."
