In the quiet ward, Li Huilan, dressed in a thin gauze garnt, lay prone on the hospital bed, her heart filled with anticipation.

Her illness had dragged on for several years, and she had found no cure despite seeking dical help everywhere. Could this young man truly cure an illness that so many doctors had deed incurable?

Lin Feng, standing beside the hospital bed, had cleared his mind of all other thoughts. He was ticulously preparing for the acupuncture.

The Trowel Needles had to be sterilized. Since using fire would be too harsh, Lin Feng had specifically asked Shu Ming to prepare freshly boiled water.

He carefully sterilized each Trowel Needle with the boiling water while ntally reviewing the entire acupuncture procedure.

This is my first ti using acupuncture since my rebirth, he thought. There can be absolutely no mistakes!

After sterilizing all the Trowel Needles and completing all preparations, Lin Feng took a deep breath.

Then, he picked up the Trowel Needles one by one, located each acupuncture point, silently recited the Yin Yang Life Changing Needle mantra, and began the procedure.

...

After what felt like an eternity waiting outside, the three of them finally heard faint sounds from within the quiet ward.

At the noise, all three straightened up, their gazes instinctively snapping to the ward door.

CREAK!

The door swung open.

Then, they watched in astonishnt as Lin Feng supported Xie Nan’s mother, Li Huilan, as she stepped out of the ward, one careful step at a ti.

Originally, due to myelitis, Li Huilan’s legs had been immobile; the only solution doctors had offered was amputation!

But now, in just over two hours, Lin Feng had miraculously enabled Li Huilan’s legs to regain their vitality. She could walk!

"Damn! H-how is this possible..."

Watching this, Zhao Kaiming’s mouth gaped into an ’O’, and it stayed that way for a long while.

Lin Feng actually accomplished what doctors all over the world couldn’t! he thought. This is simply unbelievable! And he’s just a teenager; he looks like a student!

Beside him, Shu Ming was already ashen-faced.

Li Huilan can stand and walk... That ans Lin Feng’s acupuncture was successful, Shu Ming realized with dawning horror. Which ans I lost the bet! After just over two hours, I’ve been utterly defeated by this ’Little Brat’ I looked down on!

"Mom?!"

Unlike Zhao Kaiming and Shu Ming, Xie Nan wore an expression of incredible, joyous disbelief. He rushed forward to support Li Huilan tightly, as if afraid she might suddenly be unable to walk again.

It had been so many years; this was the first ti he had seen his mother walk upright.

And it’s all thanks to Lin Feng!

"Lin Feng, thank you!" Xie Nan clasped Lin Feng’s hands tightly, tears of gratitude streaming down his face, his voice choked with emotion.

"You... you saved my mom’s life, you saved my life, you saved our entire family!" he sobbed.

If Li Huilan had remained hospitalized, the exorbitant dical fees would have inevitably bankrupted their family.

But now, thanks to Lin Feng, they were on the verge of returning to their happy life as a family of three.

The difference between heaven and hell was often a razor’s edge, and Lin Feng had completely flipped their fate.

"No need to get so worked up," Lin Feng said lightly, a chuckle in his voice. "You’re squeezing my hand so tight. Don’t tell you’re planning to offer yourself to in gratitude or sothing? Help your mother inside to rest a bit. Her legs have just regained so mobility, so she shouldn’t overexert herself. She needs to take daily walks for exercise, but don’t rush it; just increase the duration gradually."

"Okay, okay," Xie Nan agreed quickly, then hurriedly helped Li Huilan back into the ward.

My first acupuncture session went surprisingly smoothly, Lin Feng thought, watching them go with an inward smile.

The power of the Yin Yang Life Changing Needle far exceeded my expectations. I originally thought it would take daily acupuncture for about a week to restore feeling in Li Huilan’s legs. I never imagined the Yin Yang Life Changing Needle would shorten the ti so drastically—just two hours was enough!

After quietly reflecting on the experience, Lin Feng turned his gaze to Shu Ming, who was still standing there, dumbfounded.

He walked over, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Well, Dr. Shu, who won and who lost? I think we can draw a conclusion now, can’t we?"

Shu Ming’s lips trembled with rage. "Damn it! You got lucky this ti! Fine, you’re skilled! I’ll pay the dical expenses!"

With that, Shu Ming turned to leave.

"Dr. Shu," Lin Feng called out calmly from behind him, "aren’t you forgetting sothing you were supposed to do?"

Shu Ming froze. Of course, I know what he ans! he thought. I lost the bet, which ans I have to kneel and apologize to Lin Feng! But with Zhao Kaiming right here, kneeling and apologizing would be utterly humiliating!

"If you want to go back on your word, that’s fine," Lin Feng said, pulling out his phone and playing a short recording. "I’ll just post this audio online and send a copy to every doctor in the First Hospital. I’m sure you’ll beco quite famous."

It was a recording of Shu Ming’s arrogant tirade in the ward earlier.

He actually recorded it! Shu Ming’s face turned deathly pale. This kid... he’s so ticulous and calculating, and incredibly cunning! It seems I completely underestimated him!

With his lower lip trembling, Shu Ming finally forced out the words, "You’re ruthless! You win!"

THUD!

Having said that, Shu Ming knelt directly before Lin Feng. Then, he scrambled back to his feet, his face livid, and stalked away without a backward glance.

I never want to see Lin Feng again for the rest of my life! he vowed internally.

Zhao Kaiming, standing to the side, naturally guessed that Shu Ming kneeling to Lin Feng was the stake of their bet. However, he was far more interested in sothing else. He hurried over to Lin Feng, an ingratiating smile on his face. "Little brother, can you tell how you did it? How did you use Trowel Needles to cure myelitis?"

"Sorry, I can’t," Lin Feng refused bluntly.

Of course, I’m not going to tell him it was due to the Yin Yang Life Changing Needle, Lin Feng thought. If word of this got out, I’d be endlessly harassed by all sorts of people. I have no desire for that kind of fa. Besides, I’m still just a high school student.

"Little brother, if you tell your thod, I’ll give you one thousand yuan," Zhao Kaiming said, resorting to bribery when questioning failed.

"Not interested."

"Then ten thousand... or how about one hundred thousand yuan?" Zhao Kaiming was desperate to learn Lin Feng’s thod.

After all, Zhao Kaiming sched, if I can get his thod and publish a paper under my na, the profits would surely be in the tens of millions! It’s a worthwhile investnt!

"I already said, I’m not interested," Lin Feng repeated, frowning.

"Well, how about this: you tell the thod, and I’ll take you as my apprentice. Your future will be limitless..."

"I don’t want to be a doctor," Lin Feng said and turned to leave.

"Then... then I can be your apprentice! Little brother, don’t go!" Zhao Kaiming scrambled after him.
