The warm sunlight, white bed sheets, and long, scattered curls; a delicate face, an arm wrapped around from behind, another arm under her neck; the Saintess had been awake for a while but hadn’t moved, not wanting to wake the person behind her. "You don’t like it?" Li Yifei asked.
The Saintess pursed her lips and said, "I prefer it without the beard!"
"Alright, I’ll shave it later. But before that..." Li Yifei said, suddenly raising himself and pressing towards the Saintess. She realized what he was about to do, twisted her body to evade his ’attack,’ but ultimately failed.
Having achieved his mischievous objective, Li Yifei laughed joyfully, while the Saintess rubbed her slightly reddened neck and chest. "Huh?" The Saintess had been about to put a forkful of fruit into her mouth but paused at his words, blinking as she looked at Li Yifei. "Is that according to Traditional Chinese dicine?" she asked.
"Uh... sort of!"
"Then I won’t eat it. Here, you have so!" The Saintess obediently set the plate down.
Li Yifei dried the seawater from himself, sat beside the Saintess, and said, "I’ve checked all these islands, but so far I haven’t found anything suspicious. On the most suspect ones, one turned out to be a drug dealers’ haven, another controlled by the Underworld, but neither seed related to the Noah’s Ark Organization."
"So does that an our information might be wrong?" the Saintess asked.
"The information likely isn’t wrong... it’s possible Noah’s Ark abandoned this place," Li Yifei suggested.
"Let’s head back and verify it further," the Saintess said.
"Alright," Li Yifei replied, getting up to steer the boat.
The information shouldn’t be wrong, so... where did things go awry? Back at ho, Li Yifei had people reorganize the data and searched through it again with the Saintess.
"Wait, I think I know!" The Saintess said, holding two maps. She showed Li Yifei the first map taken fifty years ago and the second from three years ago. Both maps depicted the sa sea area. Upon enlargent, many islands were marked. Fifty years ago, the islands were unclaid, belonging to the governnt. On the map from three years ago, most were labeled with nas, indicating they had been bought and privatized.
Li Yifei glanced over the maps without noticing anything, but the Saintess pointed to a spot on the two maps and said, "Look here, this small island at the very edge—there was an island here fifty years ago, but it’s not on the current map!"
Li Yifei looked over and found it was indeed like that. He raised his head, exchanged glances with the Saintess, and said, "It seems this is the place. Those people used so thods to conceal this small island!"

"I... darling, I surrender!" Li Yifei admitted defeat, raising his hands in surrender. The Saintess laughed triumphantly, turned, and went upstairs first. This was a massive shark, over three ters long, a notorious great white shark. Its sharp teeth and distinctive appearance were unmistakable. Li Yifei steadied himself and, instead of killing the shark, backed away a few steps, radiating an imposing presence to make the shark sense danger and leave on its own.
The presence of sharks in this sea area wasn’t surprising. However, Li Yifei was soon slightly taken aback because it wasn’t just one shark; there were many sharks here, like a whole school of sharks.
