Li Yifei smiled faintly and said, "Is your final goal here to create these ’Type III People’?"
"Hahaha, kid, you talk too much. I don’t want to hear your voice anymore, so..."
"Wait!" Li Yifei raised his hand, glanced at the ti, and realized he still had a few seconds before his appointnt with the Saintess. So he said, "Are you sure you don’t want to chat a bit more?"
"In your next life!" Randolf said, waving his hand. But Li Yifei replied, "I at least need to know what’s in those guns—is it bullets or sothing else?"
"It’s a highly corrosive liquid that can eat away at a person or any other being in no ti," replied a gunman.
Li Yifei nodded and said, "So if I get hit by you guys, my body will quickly corrode away?"
"Exactly, so..." The man started to pull the trigger, but Li Yifei flashed a smile. Just as they were about to fire, alarms in the room blared loudly and several screens on the wall of monitors shattered instantly.
"What’s going on?" Randolf turned around to ask the control staff.
At that mont, Li Yifei moved. A blur of his figure made the gunn instinctively fire, but the corrosive liquid missed him entirely. In less than two seconds, he had taken them all down.
Randolf had his back to Li Yifei and the others. By the ti he sensed sothing was wrong, he turned sharply, seeing Li Yifei withdraw calmly as if he hadn’t just taken out the guards, who now lay sprawling on the ground.
Li Yifei tilted his head and smiled, "The guns are good, but the accuracy is poor!"
"You!" Randolf was slightly stunned but quickly recovered, sneering, "Alright, alright, it’s been a while since I’ve encountered a master from outside. Given your guts, you must not be too weak."
"Not just not weak, very strong indeed!" Li Yifei shook his head and said.
Randolf breathed heavily through his nose and said, "Rest assured, I definitely won’t let you die easily!"
"What a coincidence, I don’t plan to let you die easily either, and the rest of you better not move; stay still, or I won’t hesitate to deal with you now!" Li Yifei said, making the ones by the control panel too scared to move.
Randolf could no longer wait to act. His body was robust, but that was only superficial. His speed was even faster, his fangs seed to grow longer, and he lunged at Li Yifei with clawed hands.
Could this guy be the legendary werewolf from North Arica? Li Yifei wondered as he dodged Randolf’s pounce. Randolf missed his target, and Li Yifei imdiately spun around, kicking back. Two whooshes of wind sounded as Randolf, waving his hands, instantly struck with two claws.
But Randolf missed again, as Li Yifei sidestepped, his legs flashing twice mid-air to evade and finally kicking Randolf’s chest.
With a bang, Randolf staggered back, his muscles creaking, his face twisted, and he said, "Quite powerful."
"More than just quite powerful!" Li Yifei said lightly. Though Randolf wasn’t weak, he was no match for Satan from back in the day. Li Yifei hadn’t feared Satan then and certainly wouldn’t fear Randolf now—just a disobedient little wolf.
Randolf growled lowly from his mouth and lunged again, his hands leaving afterimages, seemingly capable of tearing through even a solid wall. But unfortunately, Li Yifei was in front of him.
Li Yifei also had his True Qi armor. He could withstand Randolf’s claws, but he saw no reason not to dodge, as his agility surpassed Randolf’s by a mile. With swift footwork, Randolf’s series of attacks missed entirely.
"Stop dodging!" Randolf shouted in frustration.
"You said it!" Li Yifei bared his white teeth and suddenly stopped, spinning back at Randolf, turning his fist into a palm, grabbing Randolf’s hand. For dealing with soone with strength and speed, so Tai Chi moves were quite effective, so with a pull and a push, Randolf lost control of his body.
Randolf wasn’t going to be subdued easily. He imdiately reached for Li Yifei with one hand, but Li Yifei had anticipated it, twisting his hand under Randolf’s hold, making him grasp at empty air.
"Just trash, yet dare to boast!" Li Yifei flung Randolf into the air, landing a kick with six or seven tenths of his strength on Randolf’s spine. A cracking sound ca, and though not broken, Randolf let out a trendous howl.
Slamming both hands on the ground, Randolf’s eyes turned blood-red, steam spewing from his mouth, he glared at Li Yifei and croaked, "You managed to force into a berserk state; your strength is truly impressive, but only to this extent. The berserk Randolf is invincible! Awooo!"
"Soone said that before!" Li Yifei remarked indifferently. That person not only could berserk but also berserk again, far surpassing you in strength, yet still lost. So seeing the werewolf’s body undergo so changes, it seems to be indeed more formidable than before.
"Roar!" A series of furious roars ensued as Randolf’s body quickly morphed, his muscles slightly reduced, his waist bent down, his hands grew inch-long nails, which gently scratched the ground, leaving marks. His eyes had turned completely red, exuding a bloodthirsty glow. Seconds later, he launched an attack, his legs crouching, front claws charging forward.
Li Yifei squinted his eyes, observing as those claws swung, several streaks of ghostly green light shot towards him, secretly surprised that this guy could emit sothing akin to True Qi.
Too bad, Li Yifei wasn’t unard. Facing the incoming True Qi-like energy, Li Yifei swung his hand back. The Mohist War Blade burst forth with a flash of white light, the blade spinning to deflect all the green light.
"Damn it!" Randolf, eyes crimson, clawed fiercely, his hands flailing, yet Li Yifei slashed out a blade and declared, "Enough playing, I’m done playing with you!"
Normally, Randolf would have been furious upon hearing this, but at this mont, all he wanted was to kill Li Yifei, including everything alive in the room. His berserk state cos at a cost; after berserking, he must kill any living being to calm down.
However, Li Yifei wasn’t soone he could kill. With the Mohist War Blade unleashed, Randolf was destined to defeat, yet he remained oblivious, recklessly charging at Li Yifei again.
A streak of white light slashed across, Randolf’s body sohow lunged into emptiness, his two arms instantly flying off, severed at the elbows by Li Yifei, blood spurting forth as Li Yifei dodged swiftly. Another slash followed, severing Randolf’s legs at the knees.
The control panel held several trembling individuals who witnessed the imposing Randolf lose all his limbs in a flash, utterly astonished to the point where their eyeballs nearly hit the ground.
"Ow... Ow..." Despite being berserk, Randolf could feel pain without limbs, rolling around on the floor. Even the strongest werewolf is useless without limbs, unable to bite the enemy by mouth.
"Noisy!" Li Yifei thrust his blade into Randolf’s body, igniting True Qi at his acupoints, abruptly silencing Randolf, though his body continued to roll.
Li Yifei approached several people at the control panel, noticing through the screens that each monitor was failing, particularly those on the ground, evidently observed by the Saintess during this ti. When the agreed ti arrived, the Saintess began her actions.
"Do any of you have anything you want to say?" Li Yifei glanced at them.
"Please... Please don’t kill us, we were forced to co!"
"I don’t want to hear it!" Li Yifei twisted his wrist, and the Mohist War Blade projected white light, slicing off a piece of the control panel, prompting those people to squeeze aside.
"I... I’ll speak!" One person raised his hand, trembling as he spoke.
"Where are you from?" Li Yifei frowned.
"I... I’m from Japan!"
"Oh." Li Yifei nodded indifferently, slashing swiftly, instantly severing the person’s head, then pointed to another person, saying, "Speak up, I don’t like Japanese!"
Terrified by the blade’s point, the person almost fainted; this man was as ruthless as Randolf, ready to kill with a disagreent.
"Will you speak or not?"
"I will speak!" The person hastily raised his hand in response.
"Good, make it quick."
"This... This is a research lab for studying human genetic modifications. We were all forced here by the Noah’s Ark Organization..."
As the person described, Li Yifei learned about the place, confirming their claim that they were captured worldwide by Noah’s Ark as top biologists, many being experts in genetics. Those refusing to comply were fed to sharks, while others couldn’t help but submit. So people beca excited upon hearing Noah’s Ark’s plan, eagerly participating.
The entire plan revolved around human genetic modifications, ongoing for several years. For those willing to serve the organization, Noah’s Ark granted considerable financial compensation and the provision of anything desired. Over the years, two types of genetic modification drugs had been developed. One could be described as Berserk Drugs, which temporarily boost one’s strength in terms of force, speed, reflex, etc., but would leave one weak for a while after the effect.
