After lunch, there were no classes in the afternoon, and Chi Cheng seed to have no major commitnts either.
So he accompanied his little bunny to go shopping.
In the noisy arcade.
An Ran was intensely focused on the claw machine, trying to grab a stuffed animal.
The first ti, she missed.
The second ti, still no success.
Why is this so difficult?
Next to her, at another claw machine, stood a couple.
The girl already had three stuffed animals in her arms, and the guy kept going at it.
With a burst of cheerful music, the guy picked up another one.
"Honey, you’re amazing!" the girl said in a sweet voice, kissing the side of the guy’s face.
Noticing An Ran watching, the girl glanced at An Ran with a playful look, and seeing that An Ran was empty-handed, she deliberately placed her stuffed animals on the chair behind her.
Her look seed to say: Jealous? Get your boyfriend to grab as many for you if he can.
An Ran: ...
She was just watching, was there really a need for such shaless showing off?
Unexpectedly, Chi Cheng, who had been leaning casually against the claw machine, watching An Ran intently, stood up straight and walked to the machine, "Which one do you want?"
"Huh?" An Ran blinked, pointed randomly at one of the smiling rabbit plush toys, "That one."
Chi Cheng maneuvered the joystick and easily grabbed it.
"Wow." An Ran hugged the little bunny, happily bouncing a couple of tis, "You’re amazing."
The plush toy was in a rather tricky spot, she had been trying for ages and couldn’t get it.
"Which other one?"
"The one with the crying face of the rabbit!"
Again, it was easily captured.
"And that one and that one!"
Chi Cheng handled these claw machines with effortless ease.
The couple beside them were completely stunned, their mouths forming a big "O".
An Ran held a pile of rabbit plushies, "Enough, it’s too much, I can’t carry them, you’re really too amazing."
"Hmm, and then?"
"Huh?"
Chi Cheng, looking very self-assured, leaned his unbelievably handso profile closer.
Just now, when the guy in the couple grabbed a plush, the girl exclaid at how amazing he was, and kissed him.
An Ran rested her chin on the rabbit ears, feeling a bit shy, but she still tiptoed and gave him a kiss.
"Good girl." Chi Cheng smiled wickedly, gave An Ran’s little head a pat, and then reached out to take the pile of plushies from her.
The girl who had been flaunting to An Ran felt a bit miffed all of a sudden.
Perhaps it was a girl’s competitive spirit, but her eyes were burning with determination.
She pointed to the claw machine, at so particularly tricky-positioned plush toys, "Honey, I want this one, this one, and also this one, hurry and grab them for ."
Unfortunately, the guy’s performance went downhill afterward, and in plain view of everyone... he didn’t manage to get a single one.
The comparison was just too stark.
The girl was outdone by An Ran, her face turning red and white, and she finally shoved the three plushies she had into the guy’s arms, "You get them yourself!"
With that she turned and left.
"Honey, wait for ..." the guy hurriedly ran after her.
Sigh.
An Ran withdrew her gaze, looking amused and helpless at Chi Cheng holding the plushies, along with those in her own arms.
"Brother, why did you grab so many?"
"My girl must not lose to another woman." Chi Cheng raised an eyebrow, "Even if it’s just about claw machines."
