It was night.
Chi Cheng returned ho, and it was already nine o’clock in the evening.

Chi Cheng listened quietly to the servant’s words, said nothing, and went straight to the second floor.
An Ran was listlessly working on her howork at the desk.

"Why would I be angry?" An Ran raised her gaze; her voice unconsciously rising, "I haven’t forgotten my place; you can flirt with whoever you want to."

All her emotions were written right on her face.
Chi Cheng’s smile grew even broader, "I see."
"I need to work on my howork, so please stay away from ." An Ran lowered her head again.
The scent of his perfu was unbearably unpleasant.
Chi Cheng wanted to ruffle her little head, but the girl dodged him with obvious disdain.
His hand paused mid-air. Seeing An Ran’s awkward deanor, Chi Cheng tugged at the corner of his mouth but said nothing more.
He turned around and left.
