"Little sister, are you okay?" A lady passing by saw An Ran fall and quickly helped her up.
"I’m fine." An Ran held back her tears, supported herself to stand up, and continued walking forward.
She had co out in a hurry, dressed too lightly, and after walking for a while, her small face was numb from being blown by the cold wind.
Shivering and hugging her arms, her knee still hurt, causing her to limp as she walked.
But An Ran just wouldn’t stop nor look back.
Was he still following her?
Probably walked away.
Even when she fell just now, he was standing behind her and didn’t show any intention to co forward to help or care for her.
An Ran was so cold she could no longer walk steadily, and accidentally was about to fall forward again.
Soone firmly grabbed her arm from behind, helping her regain her balance.

She felt really wronged and sad inside.
An Ran remained silent but stubbornly shook off his hand.
Chi Cheng tightly held on and sighed silently, "Did it hurt when you fell just now?"

Chi Cheng took off his jacket and draped it over her, tightly wrapping it around her, and tried touching her small face with his hands.
