She forced herself to go to bed at the set ti.

She spent another whole night dreaming.
But this ti, the dream had nothing to do with her childhood mories.
An Ran dread that she was injured and had fallen to the ground, unable to get up no matter what.
No phone, no passersby.
At this mont, Chi Cheng happened to walk by and looked down at her from above.
Tears were streaming down her face from the pain, and she begged Chi Cheng to take her to the hospital.
But Chi Cheng just watched her pain with a cruel sort of smile.
His voice held no warmth at all. "We’ve already broken up. We don’t have anything to do with each other now. You should wait for Jiang Yinuo to co save you."
When he finished, he just left her there and walked away.
His back was so resolute, so final.
The alarm hadn’t gone off yet, but An Ran suddenly sat up.
The sky outside was just beginning to get light. She lifted her hand and tentatively touched her own small face.
Ice-cold.
She had actually cried in her sleep, because of that dream...
An Ran hurriedly wiped away her tears with her forearm, staring blankly at the desk opposite her.
"Are you together with Jiang Yinuo? Then I hope you two can last."
Chi Cheng’s words from yesterday were still echoing in her ears.
What a "hope you two can last."
An Ran really hated herself for not replying yesterday with, "Then I hope you and Lin Wanqing can last too."

The alarm went off.
An Ran raised her hand to turn it off and washed up like she usually did.
She was pretty on ti today. When she picked up her phone and took a look, she was completely stunned.
Oh my god, several missed calls and ssages, all from Jiang Yinuo!
She quickly tapped open the ssages.

She hadn’t even looked at her phone last night, and it had been on silent the whole ti. She hadn’t noticed Jiang laoshi’s ssages or calls at all.
An Ran hurriedly wanted to call Jiang Yinuo back, but when she saw the ti, it seed a bit too early.
So she quickly sent Jiang Yinuo a ssage instead: [Jiang laoshi, I’m really sorry, I went to bed pretty early last night.]
Who knew that right after the text was sent, Jiang Yinuo practically called her back in a second.
As soon as An Ran picked up, she rushed to apologize. "I’m really, really sorry."
"It’s okay, as long as you’re fine. I thought sothing had happened to you, I was worried all night."

Jiang Yinuo laughed. "You should get to school. I’m downstairs at your place."

The Chi family’s driver, Uncle Wang, was also waiting in the courtyard. When he saw An Ran co down, he opened the back door as usual and handed her breakfast.
