It was an anonymous ssage.
[Xia Xiyan, we’ve placed a surveillance device on you. You’d better not try anything funny.]

Xiyan was startled.

Soaked from head to toe, Ou Jue drove her ho to change her clothes.

Ou Jue’s gaze never wavered from the road ahead, his face as indifferent as ever.
When Xiyan’s stolen glances reached their umpteenth ti, Ou Jue slightly parted his thin lips, "Should I pull over and give you a front-row view so you can stare all you want in one go?"

Ou Jue let out a cold laugh, gripping the steering wheel tightly. "My brother has gone missing. There are still no leads. And yet you’re taking this opportunity to matchmake with your sister? Xia Xiyan, you’ve got so nerve."
Xiyan avoided ntioning Ou Xiaoluo’s disappearance.
Because she knew, the only way to bring Ou Xiaoluo back was to convince Ou Jue to et with Xia Shiyi.
Nervously clutching the hem of her clothes, Xiyan looked up at Ou Jue. "So, will you go?"
Ou Jue stepped on the brakes abruptly. His jet-black eyes swept over, landing coldly on Xiyan. "You really want to go?"
"Yes."
Ou Jue didn’t respond further. With a frosty face, he shifted gears and slamd on the accelerator.
The car sped all the way back to the Ou Mansion. With a sharp drift, Ou Jue parked the car, slamd the door shut without sparing Xiyan a glance, and stord off inside.
Xiyan silently unbuckled her seatbelt and followed him in.
With Ou Xiaoluo missing, the entire Ou Family felt suffused with a heavy, oppressive gloom.
Grandma Ou had been bedridden the whole ti. After changing into the clothes the servants brought her, Xiyan went to check on Grandma Ou.
It just really, truly didn’t feel right inside her heart.
When she ca downstairs from the second floor, it was already six-thirty in the evening.
Ou Jue was nowhere to be seen.
Xiyan turned to ask one of the servants, "Where’s Ou Jue?"
"Miss Xia, our young master just stepped out."

Ou Jue... must have gone to et Xia Shiyi.
For so reason, her chest felt unbearably tight.
Clearly, she was afraid Xia Shiyi would act recklessly and wanted Ou Jue to go.
