After getting drunk at the KTV, An Ran woke up to find that it was already noon the next day.
Ugh, my head hurts.
She pressed her little head and sat up dizzily.
She looked around the surroundings blankly.
This...where is this?
"Awake?"
A pleasant voice ca from nearby.
An Ran quickly turned her head to look.
Chi Cheng, dressed in a white shirt, was elegantly seated at the bedside with his legs crossed.
He was originally reading a book.
Upon hearing the sound, he lifted his gaze from the book and it landed on An Ran.
From this angle, the afternoon sunlight gently spilled over him.
Chi Cheng held the book in his hands, exuding a refined air.
His eyes seed to capture the sunlight too, sparkling, with a hint of a smile.
An Ran’s mind went blank for a second, "Why are you here?"
Chi Cheng closed the book and placed it aside, speaking deliberately, "This is my apartnt, if I’m not here where should I be?"
This apartnt was bought when Chi Cheng was in middle school; sotis when he didn’t want to return to the villa, this served as his stopover.
It was sort of Chi Cheng’s own ho.
An Ran clenched her little hand, "What exactly is going on..."
Chi Cheng stepped forward, pinching her chin and forcing her to look directly at him.
"Little Ranran, who gave you the courage to run off and drink yourself into a stupor? Hmm?"
"I..." An Ran opened her mouth.
"If your mother found out about this look of yours, what do you think she would do?"
"No, don’t let mom know." An Ran shook her head anxiously.
She had a strict upbringing; if her mom found out she went to KTV and drank herself senseless, she would be dood.
Her phone would definitely be confiscated, and she’d be tightly controlled!
Thinking of this, An Ran pleadingly shook Chi Cheng’s arm, "Brother, please, don’t tell my mom..."
Perhaps it was the ntion of "brother," or maybe An Ran’s action of shaking his arm amused Chi Cheng.
He twisted his lips into a teasing smile, "Apologize to ."
"Ah? A-apologize?"
"I worried about you all night."
He worried about ?
An Ran looked at him incredulously.
She always felt Chi Cheng had profound cunning, like an unfathomable pool.
It was impossible to decipher which of his words were true or false.
Whatever, it’s just an apology, after all.
As long as mom could be kept in the dark.
"I’m sorry... I won’t let you worry in the future."
"Not sincere enough."
An Ran was both angry and timid, like a little white rabbit, whispered, "Then what counts as sincerity?"
Clearly, the reason she drank was because of Chi Cheng.
"From now on, listen to obediently." Chi Cheng stared at her angry yet repressed face, speaking half-playfully and half-seriously, "Don’t avoid , and never... leave again."
An Ran’s heart skipped a beat.
But why did he use the word "again"?
"What? Not willing?" Chi Cheng’s smile was dangerous, full of threat.
An Ran bit her lower lip, "As long as you don’t make do excessive things, I’ll agree with you."
"Add one more condition." Chi Cheng gently patted her cheek, his expression alluring, "Never negotiate with ."

Just then, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Chi Cheng glanced at her indifferently, got up to open the door.
Standing outside the door was Chi Cheng’s father and An Ran’s mother!
