Xiyan was startled, staring in shock at the young man who had suddenly appeared.
Ou Jue!
The Demon stood there proudly, his facial features tightly drawn as he lifted Boss Zhang with one hand and punched him again!
Boss Zhang scread repeatedly.
And Ou Jue, arrogant like a king, seed unsatisfied with just two punches. He casually shook his arm and took a step forward nacingly.
"Stop, Ou Jue!!" Xiyan shouted.
A loud thud.
"Ah—" This ti Boss Zhang fell directly to the ground, a sound suggesting a dislocated arm emanating from him.
Ou Jue snorted coldly, stepping on Boss Zhang, "Dare to bully my people, I see you don’t want to live!"
Xiyan was infuriated, striding forward to push him away, "Get away!"
This person, not only is he controlling, he’s also violent!
Boss Zhang clutched his arm, his face pale, unable to get up from the ground.
"Are you okay?" Xiyan squatted down, full of guilt, trying to help him up.
But before her hand could reach him, Ou Jue domineeringly pulled her back, glaring at Boss Zhang, "You’re not allowed to touch her!"
Boss Zhang nearly cried: Clearly, it was the girl who ca to help , okay? How did I end up touching her??
Seeing Ou Jue’s attitude, Xiyan’s anger skyrocketed.
She pushed Ou Jue, "What gives you the right to beat people up?"
"Because I’m Ou Jue, because he deserves it!"
"Just because you’re Ou Jue, you think you can hit anyone?"
"Yes, I can!" he retorted confidently.
"You... you..." Xiyan was truly infuriated, "Do you even know that my wallet was stolen, and Boss Zhang helped get it back? He helped retrieve the wallet, yet you beat him up without asking questions?"
"Oww..." Boss Zhang continued to groan in pain.
Xiyan shot Ou Jue a look and turned to call 120.
Ou Jue stood with his arms crossed, glaring at Boss Zhang, showing no remorse for hitting the wrong person.
His whole face scread: I’m the boss, even if I hit the wrong person, I’m still the boss.
The ambulance arrived with sirens blaring and took Boss Zhang to the hospital.
In the hospital, Boss Zhang lay on a hospital bed.
"Doctor, is he really okay?" Xiyan asked the doctor worriedly.
"He’s fine, just a minor strain in his arm. A couple of days of rest and he’ll be alright."
Xiyan still wasn’t reassured, "Is he really okay? He looks so weak."
Ou Jue stood with his hands in his pockets, his face cold as he spoke irritably, "Am I a dead person? How dare you show such concern for him in front of ?"
"You still dare to speak!" Xiyan glared at Ou Jue, "Who caused him to be like this?"
"It was , so what? He seed suspicious from the start!" That alley was in the old district, slated for demolition. The residents had long moved out, leaving it desolate.
How was it so coincidental that Boss Zhang appeared there and helped this woman retrieve her wallet?
"You’re simply being unreasonable!" Xiyan had never seen soone as arrogant and irrational as Ou Jue.
"This young master, I kindly helped Miss Xia retrieve her wallet and ended up being mistaken for a bad guy and beaten by you. I consider it my misfortune, and I accept it, but don’t you think you’re being a bit too much by saying that?" Boss Zhang’s voice was weak.
"Half a million." Ou Jue coldly glared at him, spitting out a number with his thin lips.
