Chi Cheng, who ca up, didn’t wash his hands; he leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, "Is there nothing you want to say to ?"
This was the first thing Chi Cheng said to her in five days.
An Ran stared at him blankly, "Huh?"

Chi Cheng smirked slightly, a trace of self-mockery flashed in his eyes but quickly disappeared.
"Looks like there isn’t."
Chi Cheng straightened up and turned to walk outside.
Blinking, An Ran pulled out a tissue, wiped her small hands, and walked towards the dining table.
Dad Chi and mom An were busily bringing out dishes, big and small, filling up the table.
"Chi Cheng, Ranran, co and sit."
"No, thanks." Chi Cheng picked up the car keys, speaking calmly, "I have another appointnt, just ca ho to pick up sothing."
Mom An teased, "An appointnt? Have you started dating?"
Dad Chi hurriedly chid in, "What? A girlfriend? How old is she? Is she a student or working? What do her parents do?"
An Ran also focused her gaze on Chi Cheng.
But Chi Cheng didn’t take the bait, shrugged, and said, "I’m running out of ti, take your ti eating."
With that, he headed towards the door.

An Ran lowered her eyes, pulled out a chair, and sat down.
