After leaving the inpatient departnt, Chi Niannian walked over to a nearby big tree.
An Ran stopped in her tracks and turned her head, "Niannian, is sothing wrong?"
"You guys go ahead, I’ll wait for you here." Chi Niannian crossed one arm while the other hung down naturally, a lit cigarette tucked between her index and middle fingers.
She had a full-on mature woman vibe, smoke curling around her fingers, catching the eyes of many boys sneaking glances.
Niannian smoked, and An Ran knew this.
It was just that she rarely saw her smoking.
An Ran bit her lower lip.
Across from the inpatient departnt, there was a beverage shop, but you had to cross the street to get there.

Chi Niannian got straight to the point, "Ou Jue repeated his senior year for so reason, was it because of another girl, or is there so hidden reason?"
The curve at the corner of Chi Cheng’s mouth slowly beca much stiffer, "Before answering your question, shouldn’t you first explain how you know about this?"
Chi Niannian shrugged and repeated, "So? Was it because of another girl?"
"Sorry, regarding soone else’s privacy issues, I don’t have the right to answer." Chi Cheng said, taking An Ran’s hand, glancing at Chi Niannian, "Lemon water, is that okay?"
Chi Niannian took a drag from her cigarette, blew out a smoke ring, and said, "Okay."
Chi Cheng nodded slightly and left holding An Ran’s hand.
So natural, as if their relationship was so intimate.
The warmth coming from her fingertips made An Ran eager to break free, "N-no need to hold hands. I can walk by myself."
What’s going on? In the eyes of outsiders, she’s supposed to be Chi Cheng’s sister, right?

Yet Chi Cheng not only didn’t let go but gripped even tighter, his charmingly handso face leaned forward, teasing in his voice, "Little Ranran, why are you blushing?"

Chi Cheng chuckled lowly, "Because I’m holding your hand?"
"Let go of , or people will see..."
Oh no, why did I say that? It sounds like I’m having an affair with my brother!
In front of them was a red light, everyone waiting to cross the crosswalk, many people around.
Chi Cheng showed no intention of letting go, amusent dancing in his eyes, "Well then, let them see, I don’t mind."
An Ran growled in frustration, "I mind, okay?!"
"As a brother, holding his sister’s hand to cross the street, what’s wrong with that?"
Not sure if it was intentional, but he deliberately raised his voice when he said this.
The people waiting for the traffic light all turned their eyes over simultaneously.
Their eyes were strange.
An Ran’s face turned crimson, quickly looking at them and stamring, "No, it’s not what you think, he’s not my family!"
Chi Cheng’s smile deepened.
The green light ca on, and everyone started walking forward.
An Ran hurried to go, but Chi Cheng pulled her back.
"Not family, then the only identity left that can hold a girl’s hand..." Chi Cheng leaned in, whispering seductively in her ear, "Lover."
