"Arguing with strangers is the dumbest thing," Chi Cheng nudged Ou Jue’s arm with his elbow. "In my opinion, you’re not the type to be dumb."
Ou Jue glanced at Xia Xiyan in silence, then parted his thin lips slightly, "Who would bother arguing with an idiot? Lowering my IQ to do that? No thanks."
Xiyan stood up angrily, "I’m going to the restroom."
With that, she ran out.
"Hey? Wait for , I’ll go too..." An Ran quickly followed after her.
The barbecue restaurant was street-side, and the restroom inside happened to be out of order, so they had to cross the road to use a public restroom.
But just as they stepped outside, they spotted two familiar figures.
Xiyan froze for a mont.
Wasn’t this their old elentary school classmates?
The super narcissistic Luo Mingchuan, and the girl wearing blue colored contact lenses in his arms—Xiyan recognized her too.
Back then, Xiyan was in Class One, and that girl was in Class Two.

Clearly, the two noticed Xiyan as well.
"Sumr?" Luo Mingchuan looked a bit surprised, then glanced down at the girl in his arms. "Wanxia, this is our elentary school classmate. Do you rember?"
"Of course I rember, she’s our little celebrity," the girl called Wanxia chuckled lightly. "You’re out eating barbecue too? Such a pity, this barbecue restaurant has been booked out today, I suppose you’ve been turned away too, huh?"
Xiyan couldn’t be bothered to engage.
She diverted her gaze and attempted to leave.
"Hey? We’re old classmates at least, why rush off the mont you see us? Xia Xiyan, feeling guilty about sothing?" The girl blocked Xiyan’s path. "Afraid we’ll bring up your family background, is that it?"
Xiyan’s mother caused such a scandal that now Xia Xiyan was like a rat crossing the street—everyone wanted to trample her.
Other than a handful of brainless fans and so casual supporters, the rest were all calling her out viciously.
Given the situation, she still had the guts to show her face in public?
"Enough already! I don’t even know you anymore. Who cares to listen to your nonsense? Get lost!" Xiyan didn’t spare any face for her old classmate and grabbed An Ran, ready to walk away.
"Hey, what makes you so bold now after all this?" The girl grew furious.
An Ran was normally timid, but whenever soone attacked Xiyan, she would always be the first to defend her. "And what if she’s bold? Our Xiyan has every right to be. It’s none of your business! Oh, by the way, didn’t you just say this barbecue restaurant is booked out, leaving you unable to eat? Sorry to disappoint—it was actually Xiyan’s boyfriend who booked it!"
The Class Two girl had always been envious, jealous, and resentful of Xia Xiyan.
Now that she finally found an opportunity to mock Xiyan, there was no way she would let it go. Sneering, she said, "Keep bluffing, go ahead. Xia Xiyan, do you think I don’t know your current situation? A boyfriend? After what happened, who’d still want you?"
Luo Mingchuan remained silent, his gaze continually scanning Xia Xiyan from head to toe.
Xiyan was utterly frustrated and turned to An Ran, "Ignore her, let’s go."
She stepped forward, intending to cross the street.
But just then, a motorcycle sped toward them at alarming speed.
It was about to hit Xiyan directly!
"Xiyan!" An Ran’s eyes widened as she scread, instinctively attempting to run toward her.
Before she could react, a figure darted forward and shoved Xiyan aside!
Xiyan stumbled forward a couple of steps, looking back in sheer disbelief—
