The Ou Family’s full-ti driver took leave today, and as they ca downstairs, it was Assistant Chen waiting in the car.
Huh? Where did Assistant Chen pop out from?
Xia Xiyan had a sudden realization. She patted Ou Jue on the shoulder with a big smile, "You had already decided to take out to play a long ti ago, hadn’t you?"
"No." Ou Jue replied with a deadpan expression.
"Then how co Assistant Chen just so conveniently happens to be here waiting?"
Ou Jue said nothing more, "Get in the car."
"Oh." Xiyan shrugged.
So tsundere, as always.
Just as the two got into the car, three heads—two big and one small—popped out from the villa gate.
Grandma Ou was deeply gratified: To prioritize taking his wife out for sushi and even leave work behind to rush to R Country—our little Jue is finally showing so promise.
Mom Ou: Don’t these two kids need to bring any luggage?
Ou Xiaoluo pretended to follow them: Luoluo is the luggage! I’m coming too...
"Co back!" Grandma Ou quickly scooped up the little dumpling and forcibly dragged little Luoluo back into the villa.
The old lady had already sunk deep into her own irrepressible daydreams.
An exclusive couple’s trip... a man and a woman alone... the sparks... the passion... hehe...
Awwww, the hope of holding a great-grandchild is within grasp!

The distance from Hua Country to R Country wasn’t far. From the city where Xia Xiyan and Ou Jue lived, the flight took less than two hours.
The plane slowly landed in R Country.
A foreign land, sea breeze, blue sky—
This was the taste of freedom!
Most importantly, traveling from R Country was much more convenient.
Because with Sumr’s fa in Hua Country, walking freely on the streets like this would have been absolutely impossible.
But in R Country, it was a different story. With so many foreigners around, there were very few who would recognize her.
Xiyan spread out her little arms and happily dashed ahead.
The boy behind her, with his tall and upright fra, had his hands tucked in his pockets as he followed her. Frowning, he said, "Slow down. If you fall, I won’t help you."
Xiyan paid no mind and kept running around joyfully.
And then... her joy turned to misfortune as her foot caught on sothing, and she went flying forward.
"Ahhhhhh..." she shrieked, stumbling a couple of steps before dropping one knee to the ground.
Ou Jue’s face darkened. He imdiately strode forward, crouched down, and checked her injury. Glaring at her with irritation, he said, "I told you to slow down. Did my words just go in one ear and out the other?"
She was wearing shorts, and although her knee wasn’t scraped, it was already red.
Xiyan pouted pitifully, "I didn’t an for this to happen. And I got hurt, yet you’re still scolding ."
"If I don’t scold you, you’ll never learn your lesson." Ou Jue straightened up but kept one hand firmly supporting her. "Does it hurt?"
"Nope," Xiyan said stubbornly.
Letting out an almost imperceptible sigh, Ou Jue crouched down again, tilted his head, and looked at her. "Get on."
Was this... an invitation to piggyback ?
Ohhhhh!
Xiyan bead, and in this foreign land, she didn’t bother with formalities. Without hesitation, she gleefully jumped onto his back, and he easily held her steady as he started walking forward.
Clinging to his neck with a grin, she teased, "Didn’t you say if I fell, you wouldn’t care about ?"
Staring straight ahead, Ou Jue replied, "Want to toss you into the sea right now?"
"You wouldn’t dare." Xiyan held his neck tighter. "I know you wouldn’t bear to do it."
"Xia Xiyan, you’re so shaless."
"What’s the point of dignity when I have you?"
Montarily flustered by her unexpected flirting, Ou Jue paused slightly. Pressing his lips together, he didn’t respond and simply tightened his grip on her.
This... idiot.
Just then, a surprised voice echoed from behind them, "Is that you?"
