Even though I was drugged at the ti, my mind was perfectly clear.
No matter how much Ye Xisi provoked Ou Jue with his words, no matter how much he tried to agitate him.

Looking at Xiyan in this state, Ou Jue’s rationality slightly returned. His gaze darkened and his voice, low and hoarse yet tinged with urgency, said, "Don’t cry, idiot, no crying allowed."
"Aren’t you the one who doesn’t believe what I say?" Xiyan lifted her small face, aggrieved yet earnest. "I’ll prove it to you right now!"

"Xia Xiyan, stop right now!"

Ou Jue had already gotten up and pulled a bathrobe from the side, wrapping it around her directly.
"Soaking for too long makes you dizzy." Ou Jue spoke calmly.
By now, the weather had turned cold. Having just stepped out of the bathtub, she felt a chill.
Ou Jue, however, didn’t care about his own drenched body but instead dried himself off and changed into clean clothes.
"Wait—" Xiyan pressed down on his hand, "Why?"
"No reason."
It felt like she had resolved to do sothing deeply humiliating to herself, yet the other party poured a bucket of cold water all over her intentions.
Xiyan felt a mix of frustration and embarrassnt, pushing his hand away. "I don’t want to wear it!"
Unexpectedly, Ou Jue completely ignored her protests and clothed her properly. "Right now, I won’t touch you."
"Is it because you’ve convinced yourself of what you saw? Do you think I’m filthy?"
Ou Jue pressed his lips together and carried her out of the bathroom. "No."
"Then why?" Xiyan was both angry and frustrated.
He lowered his gaze, tucking the strands of her hair at her temples behind her ear. His voice was husky, "We’re returning to the country soon. Forget everything that happened here."
Xiyan’s hands hung limply by her sides...

"Shouldn’t we celebrate each other’s success?" Qiao Qianmo’s voice carried a note of delight. "I didn’t think our first collaboration would go so smoothly."
As it turned out, her earlier reliance on Susan had been completely misplaced.
Only by truly sabotaging the relationship between Ou Jue and Xia Xiyan could these two be completely torn apart.
Ye Xisi’s voice betrayed no emotion, "Celebrate?"
