It seems it’s not that easy...
"Don’t let your little head wander." Chi Cheng ruffled An Ran’s hair. "Give ti, and all your worries will be resolved."

As evening approached, they finally reached their destination.
As expected, they arrived under the camphor tree where her brother had brought her before.
An Ran unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car, lifting her small face to look at the large tree.
Why... does every visit here feel so familiar?
She turned to Chi Cheng, "What is Brother bringing here for?"
Chi Cheng’s fingers traced the number carved into the tree trunk.
[1206]
His expression was mild, but his eyes reflected a distant thought, "Today is a special day."
Hmm.
A special day?
December 6th.
It’s neither Brother’s birthday nor An Ran’s birthday.
This date seems to have nothing to do with her...
"There’s a beach ahead." Chi Cheng took her hand. "Let’s go for a walk."
An Ran nodded obediently, letting him hold her small hand as she followed behind.
Looking up, Chi Cheng’s handso face glowed beautifully under the orange sunset.
Though Brother is quite mischievous and loves to tease and bully her.
He truly is the gentlest and most elegant person she has ever known.
"Brother hasn’t told yet." An Ran inquired, "What day is it today?"
"The day isn’t important." Chi Cheng wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "What’s important is who is with at this mont."
"Huh??" An Ran blinked, becoming more confused the more she listened.
The beach wasn’t far from here, and they reached it in no ti.
Away from the familiar city, coming to such a seaside town, she felt much more relaxed.
"It’s really the sea." An Ran’s eyes sparkled as she watched the waves crash onto the shore, quickening her pace and pulling Chi Cheng’s hand to run forward.
Just then, an astonished voice ca from behind, "Chi Ge?"
Turning her head, she saw several boys around her age.
Chi Cheng smiled faintly, "Long ti no see."
The boys instantly set their eyes on An Ran.
An Ran shivered with fright.
These people knew her brother.
And yet, her relationship with her brother was still a secret...
She hurriedly tried to pull her hand away.
Unexpectedly, Chi Cheng not only didn’t let go but held on even tighter.
What was Brother doing?
Wasn’t he afraid people they knew would notice sothing?
The boys grinned mischievously, "Hey, Chi Ge, who is this?"
They instantly hooted, "Chi Ge, aren’t you going to introduce this little beauty? What’s her na? How should we address her?"
This was the first ti she was teased by people they knew in public.
An Ran grew even more flustered, looking down helplessly.
To her surprise, she heard Chi Cheng’s clear and pleasant voice, "Call her sis-in-law."
The boys seed to pause for a few seconds before hooting, "Ohhh~ So she’s sis-in-law~~"
Sis-in-law? What sis-in-law?
An Ran was so moved, she greeted them awkwardly, "Hel-Hello."
"Hello, sis-in-law~~" One of the boys jumped around like a monkey, grinning cheekily, "Let tell you, our Chi Ge is very devoted. Every December 6th, he cos here for his first love. But this year, he brought you here, which ans you are very important to him!"
An Ran’s smile froze a bit.
Fi-First love?
Brother’s... first love?
