Ou Jue was slightly stunned.
It was clearly just child’s talk, but to Xiyan, it sounded like the most beautiful love words in the world.
After parting ways with the little girl, Ou Jue silently walked forward.
Only Xiyan chirped and teased around him, "So when you look at , your eyes have stars?"
Ou Jue snapped back to reality, sneering coldly, "You believe what kids say too."
The two stopped in front of the carousel, Xiyan with her hands behind her back, turned to look at him, "The more innocent a child is, the more they can see places we adults can’t, you know."
Saying that, she tiptoed up to Ou Jue’s face, her bright black eyes filled with laughter, sparkling as she looked at him, "Ou Jue, you clearly still like now, you might fool yourself, but you can’t fool others."
Lowering his gaze to this mischievous little face, Ou Jue stood straight-backed, his lips involuntarily forming a handso straight line.
At this mont, he seed to see countless twinkling stars in the eyes of the girl in front of him.
Ou Jue shifted his gaze, his thin lips slightly parted, "You’re truly the most narcissistic woman I’ve ever t."
The girl countered without backing down, "You’re truly the most stubborn man I’ve ever t."
"Heh."
"Heh, what heh, hurry up and buy the tickets." Her phone and wallet were left in the car.
"Are you ordering ?"
"Nope, I’m asking you, asking pretty please~~"
She clasped her hands at her chest, tilted her delicate little face upwards, looking at him pitifully.
Ou Jue stared at her for quite a while before turning away with a calm handso face.
He walked to the ticket booth for the carousel and bought two tickets.
The carousel lights looked even more magical, turning round and round to the sound of a rotating music box.
"Wow..." Xiyan was so happy, laughing like a child.
As she turned her head, she saw Ou Jue sitting nearby on a horse with a reluctant expression.
Suddenly, Xiyan jumped down from her horse.
"Hey." Ou Jue’s face stiffened, grabbing her arm, "What do you think you’re doing."
The little girl seized his arm, boldly stepping in front of him, and was trying to sit with him on the sa horse, facing him.
Xiyan hugged his waist, "I don’t want to be apart from you, I want to sit on the sa horse with you."
Carefully thinking about it, she realized she had never gone to an amusent park with Ou Jue before.
This was the first ti she rode the carousel with him.
She had done it with friends before, but didn’t feel anything.
But now, she finally realized how "cruel" it was to ride the carousel with soone you liked.
They are always chasing each other, but the distance never changes.
No matter how hard you chase, you can never catch up.
You can only watch the person you love keep a distance from you forever.
Ugh... it doesn’t seem very lucky.
Taking advantage of her small size, Xiyan squeezed herself onto the sa horse with Ou Jue, facing him, her little head leaning against his firm chest, unabashedly hugging his waist.
This real sense of presence is the most reassuring.
Ou Jue looked down at her, his voice a bit angry, "Have you had enough yet."
"Nope, just want to hug you like this."
"Xiyan!"
"What, what..." Xiyan lifted her small face from his embrace, "I haven’t even complained about how uncomfortable it is to sit like this."
