Ou Jue stood there with a straight posture, the sunlight stread through the lattice window, accentuating his air of nobility.
The man did not speak, just standing there ambiguously, yet seed shrouded by an intimidating atmosphere.
Anna was still crying, sobbing uncontrollably.
There was not a trace of emotion in Ou Jue’s eyes as he spoke coldly, "Take good care and heal your wounds, I’ll be visiting often these days."
"If you’re here only out of gratitude or sympathy..."
"I said I would co, so I will." Ou Jue interrupted her, looking at her condescendingly, his words seemingly caring but coming out icy cold, "Don’t overthink, just rest peacefully."
Ou Jue said he would be visiting her these days.
Anna lowered her head, her voice gradually wavered into soft sobs.
He had an important conference call with Arica that morning, Ou Jue soon left.
Lisa saw him to the door, "Young Master Ou, since you don’t like Xia Xiyan anymore, why not consider Anna, she’s also a daughter of the Xia Family!"
Ou Jue paused his steps, casting a cold glance at Lisa.
Just that single look was chilling, leaving Lisa’s next words frozen on her lips.
She wisely chose not to continue speaking.
Turning around, Lisa jogged to Anna’s bedside, "It’s great, Ou Jue said he’ll return to see you this afternoon as soon as he’s finished his work, he obviously still cares about you a lot."
Anna looked down at the wound on her wrist, murmuring, "Is this really caring?"
"Of course it is!"
"But does this count as tricking him to co to ?"
"How can you call it tricking?" Lisa comforted her, speaking with conviction, "Hasn’t Xia Xiyan used tricks all these days? Clearly, Ou Jue doesn’t like her anymore, yet she still clings to him shalessly. If you were as brazen as she is, Ou Jue would’ve been yours long ago!"
"But..."
"But what." Lisa clutched her, "You did very well this ti. Trust , Ou Jue will fall for you eventually. Didn’t Xia Xiyan even try to show off, saying that unrequited love must accept defeat gracefully? This ti, we’ll watch Xia Xiyan lose everything with a smile!"
Anna pursed her lips, "I don’t want to see her lose everything, I just want Ou Jue to care for , even if it’s just a little beyond gratitude, I’d be satisfied."

Xiyan dashed towards Ou Jue’s office building at noon, clutching the homade lunchbox.
Wow, from afar she spotted Ou Jue clad in a black suit, exuding a powerful presence as he walked out of the company.
He was at the forefront with several staff trailing behind him, like the classic entrance of a drama’s male lead!
Xiyan scurried up excitedly, "Ou Jue!"
The man halted his steps, turning to look over.
A lively, breathless young girl ca running to his presence.
"What brings you here?"
"To have lunch together." Xiyan smiled gleefully, raising the lunchbox, "I made it myself."
Seeing her bright, sunny smile, Ou Jue was montarily moved.
Yet, in his mind, a voice like a curse began to echo again:
You don’t like Xia Xiyan anymore.
You don’t like her.
Ou Jue diverted his gaze, "I don’t have ti."
