“Why are you all looking at like that?” Ye Qiu glanced at the chubby guy, Wu Yaizi, and the two little kids.
They were staring at Ye Qiu with wide eyes and a surprised expression.
“Master, why are those people so scared of you? They didn’t even fight, they just gave in and even sang that weird song,” the chubby guy said. Seeing Ye Qiu make those four people sing on command made the chubby guy feel as if he was eting Ye Qiu for the first ti.
Those four, others might not know them, but he certainly did; they were under Flower Duke, not particularly strong but not weak either, considered notable figures in Qingfeng County. Yet before Ye Qiu, they were utterly obedient, not at all displaying the deanor of strong individuals.

The chubby guy couldn’t help but wonder what Ye Qiu’s true identity was, to make those four so compliant. Could it be that even Flower Duke was no match for him?

He couldn’t handle those four guys, but once Ye Qiu stepped in, they imdiately behaved, making Wu Yaizi feel as if he’d indeed found a treasure.

Ye Qiu’s mind was a bit disoriented. Had he beco the leader of Dan Shen Sect so easily? He rembered it was only his second day here, technically still a newbie, yet he’d beco Sect Leader. At least he should’ve ward the chief disciple’s seat first.
Just as Ye Qiu was about to speak, Wu Yaizi raised his hand and said, “No need to say it, I know what you want to say. With the Sect Leader position in your hands, I am at ease. From now on, everything in Dan Shen Sect will be up to you, no need to ask , everything is yours to decide.”
After speaking, Wu Yaizi quickly left.
Ye Qiu and the chubby guy remained there, a bit bewildered.
Especially Ye Qiu, he felt as if he’d been handed a hot potato, becoming a sect leader in confusion, even though there were few people in Dan Shen Sect, besides Wu Yaizi, just him, yet it was still a sect.
Wu Yaizi left too quickly, causing Ye Qiu to forget to ask about the Spirit Grass seeds. But now that he’d beco Sect Leader and Wu Yaizi seed to be offloading burdens, Ye Qiu felt that this matter was sothing he could only rely on himself for.

Tomorrow, he must really see what kind of being this new Dan Shen Sect Leader is, an alchemical sect that’s fallen behind, does it aim to rise again in Qingfeng County?

Wu Yaizi then shared the history of Dan Shen Sect: long ago, Dan Shen Sect was prosperous, founded by Wu Yaizi’s great-grandfather. At the ti, in Qingfeng County, it was the number one sect. As an Alchemist, his status was high, no one dared provoke easily.
But later, after this Sect Leader passed away, a mutiny occurred, leading to Dan Shen Sect’s decline. Later, several skilled Alchemists left Dan Shen Sect, taking many alchemical texts with them. This truly brought Dan Shen Sect’s downfall, reaching Wu Yaizi’s generation, his alchemy skills were only novice at best. Dan Shen Sect’s existence persisted due to Wu Yaizi’s efforts and relying on ancestral connections, surviving in Qingfeng County. But to this day, these relationships have gradually disappeared.
Wu Yaizi even thought about leaving Dan Shen Sect, but rembering his promise to his father on his deathbed, he could only grit his teeth and persevere. Dan Shen Sect was passed down, after all, it’s an inheritance he didn’t want destroyed in his hands.
