What he said was a mix of truth and lies. Naturally, his background was fake; he couldn’t reveal he was from Earth, lest forr rivals hunt him down the next day. There were too many strong enemies on his ancestral land who wanted to kill him.
As for the truth, Ye Qiu didn’t evade it. His recent joining of the Dan Shen Sect and becoming its leader were true. Many witnessed his induction, and had looked at him with special eyes for a long ti. Such things couldn’t be lied about; any interested party could easily verify them.
Hua Wuhun was rely inquiring, not genuinely probing into Ye Qiu’s history. She was simply curious about Ye Qiu as a person. Hearing this explanation, Hua Wuhun was sowhat taken aback. So it seed that the Dan Shen Sect had indeed stumbled upon a treasure.
