"Are we going in?" the Array Master looked at Lee Dan Master.
Lee Dan Master stared at the fog-filled formation in front of him, pondering. If Ye Qiu was behind the formation and he ran into him, it would be terrible.
But what if it wasn’t? Ye Qiu, an unknown young man, where did he co from? His skills in alchemy could not have co from the Dan Shen Sect; otherwise, the sect would have been revived long ago and wouldn’t need him. Lee Dan Master felt that Ye Qiu must have a big secret.
And could the formation behind be related to Ye Qiu’s secret?
"Let’s go in." Lee Dan Master decided to proceed. They had co this far, and he couldn’t turn back just because of the formation blocking the way. He hadn’t even recouped the price he paid to this Array Master. That wouldn’t do.
Once Lee Dan Master decided to enter, the Array Master imdiately began deciphering the formation. He needed to familiarize himself with the formation before he could deduce the formation code and sneak in silently.
Unbeknownst to them, their arrival had already been detected by the black dogs. Even though no sound was transmitted within the formation, a re hint of their presence could be caught by the black dogs.
At present, four black dogs transford into human forms. Just as Lee Dan Master was ntally reassuring himself, four figures suddenly leapt out from the formation.
The Array Master was startled while breaking the formation and imdiately attempted to flee. However, the black dogs would not let them escape so easily. With their skills, unless faced with a master of the Void Return realm, few could outmatch them.

A burly man grabbed the Array Master’s collar, then pointed with his other hand, rendering the Array Master unable to move.
An Array Master is quite similar to a Pill Master. They may achieve high accomplishnts in other fields, but their martial skills are lacking. Facing martial artists without the advantage of formations only ant being overpowered.
"Spare , please! I was hired by soone!" The Array Master, unable to escape and fearing for his safety, quickly pleaded, even ntioning Lee Dan Master.
Lee Dan Master cursed inwardly but knew now was not the ti for that. As soon as he saw the four figures appear at the formation’s edge, without hesitation, he turned around and fled.
If caught by the Dan Shen Sect, he would be dood.

The four burly n ford from black dogs certainly looked intimidating. Especially in this mont, facing the intruders of the Dan Shen Sect, they bore icy, murderous auras.

At that mont, Ye Qiu, Hua Wuji, and Jin Xiaoshun arrived. Ye Qiu spoke, "Trying to bribe them with pills is useless. The pills you offered are truly low-grade. Trying to bribe my sect’s people with these pills... Well, should I call you foolish or stupid?"
"Sect Leader, foolish and stupid an the sa thing, right?" Jin Xiaoshun interjected.
Lee Dan Master knew he couldn’t escape. Blocked by the three burly n, and now that Ye Qiu was alerted to his presence, fleeing was impossible.
"Coming to my Dan Shen Sect uninvited late at night, surely you weren’t lost and wandered here?" Ye Qiu casually asked.
Lee Dan Master knew Ye Qiu was mocking him, so he chose to remain silent.
"Wuji, Xiaoshun, do you want to see who this person is?" Ye Qiu suddenly asked.
"I do. Anyone able to elude your detection, Sect Leader, must have so skill. I’m genuinely curious," Jin Xiaoshun replied.
Ye Qiu turned to Lee Dan Master, saying calmly, "Will you remove your veil, or should I do it for you?"
Lee Dan Master hesitated montarily before removing his black veil, revealing his face.
"It’s him!"
"It’s you!"
Ye Qiu, Hua Wuji, and Jin Xiaoshun recognized Lee Dan Master’s face and recalled his identity.
"It’s this guy," Jin Xiaoshun remarked, having a poor impression of Lee Dan Master. At the alchemy tournant, had it not been for this person’s insistence on rules, Ye Qiu might have claid the title of top alchemist.
"So, it’s Lee Dan Master from Tian Can Sect!" Ye Qiu murmured.
"Ye Fantian, I just wanted to see the nightscape on the mountain tonight. I accidentally wandered into your Dan Shen Sect. I intended to leave quietly, but since you found , I may as well explain upfront. Now that you know, I can leave, right?" Lee Dan Master spoke calmly, showing no hint of panic, as if he genuinely took a wrong turn.
Ye Qiu, Jin Xiaoshun, and Hua Wuji exchanged glances, incredulous at Lee Dan Master’s blatant lies. He seed to lie without sha, making up stories right in front of them.
"Sect Leader, his face is too thick; I doubt a needle could pierce it," Jin Xiaoshun couldn’t resist ridiculing Lee Dan Master, calling his excuse ’utter fabrication.’
Lee Dan Master’s excuse left Ye Qiu unsure whether to laugh or cry. He wanted to see how far the man would continue his spinning tales.
"Haha... Lee Dan Master, how do you explain this person?" Ye Qiu gestured, and a burly man brought the Array Master forward. Ye Qiu awaited Lee Dan Master’s explanation with a smile.
