But his current state was indeed awful; as Black Bull and the others foresaw, Taishan’s attempt was almost destined to end in failure given his condition.
Struggling to sit up, Taishan’s eyes gazed at the sky and the dark clouds brewing the lightning tribulation.
Despite his heavy injuries, he wasn’t disheartened; with a swipe of his finger,
a pill bottle appeared in his hand.

The trio could only evade, not daring to confront the tribulation; otherwise, angering it would yield tenfold or hundredfold retribution.
