Now reading: Chapter 470 - 470 0471 Furious 4th update from Supernatural Insight Eyes, a Urban novel by Rebirth in One Thought.

470: 0471 Furious (4th update) 470: 0471 Furious (4th update) Ye Qiu was preparing to set off for Capital City the next day.

Niu Yinyin, ecstatic at the thought of seeing her mother sooner, wanted to share the good news with her neighbor friends.

Niu Yinyin had a few playmates at the Goddess Villa too, and she happily bounced out, unnoticed by either Ye Qiu or Shen ngchen.

But as evening approached and Niu Yinyin had not returned, Ye Qiu frowned.

“Where on earth could the girl be?

She usually would have been back by now,” Shen ngchen said, glancing at the ti.

It was approaching six o’clock, and with the nightfall drawing near, even Shen ngchen couldn’t help but show so worry.

“I’ll go out and look for her.” Ye Qiu hurried out of the villa and spotted a group of children gathered together, walking straight over to them.

His gaze swept over them, but there was no sign of Niu Yinyin.

“Has anyone seen Yinyin?” A bad premonition began to settle in Ye Qiu’s heart.

From within the group of kids, a little girl bravely said, “A man just took Yinyin sister away, saying he was taking her to see her mom.”

Ye Qiu’s eyes turned cold, realizing soone was targeting Niu Yinyin and had snatched her away right here.

He didn’t believe Yinyin would have willingly gone with the stranger, especially since he was planning to take Yinyin to Capital City tomorrow.

So, who was this stranger?

Ye Qiu asked for a detailed description of the man’s appearance and attire, and without saying goodbye to Shen ngchen, he imdiately gave chase.

The clues left behind were scarce, but the stranger’s license plate number had been noted down, and that was enough for Ye Qiu.

“Officer Lin, help check a license plate number, Capital 4568…” Ye Qiu quickly called Lin Qiao’er.

“Ye Qiu, license plate tracking isn’t sothing you just do on a whim.

Without authorization from above, I can’t help you,” Lin Qiao’er said.

She failed to notice the seriousness in Ye Qiu’s tone, which was distinctly different from his usually casual manner.

“Don’t think just because you’re requesting my help, you can order around.

Let tell you, Ye Qiu…”

Ye Qiu didn’t want to hear a long list of complaints from Lin Qiao’er and cut her off mid-sentence, dominantly and bluntly, “If you don’t help look it up, I’ll refuse to act as a coach.”

Not giving Lin Qiao’er a chance to get angry, he continued, “I’ll wait for a maximum of half an hour.

Don’t make wait long.”

“You…” Lin Qiao’er was furious.

Yet Ye Qiu was clearly not afraid of Lin Qiao’er’s anger erupting, with his uncompromising tone almost commanding, “I want the car owner’s information and their route.

I will wait only half an hour.”

Then, decisively, Ye Qiu hung up the phone, leaving Lin Qiao’er on the other end with her hair nearly standing on end from frustration.

She was infuriated by Ye Qiu’s authoritative demands.

What gave Ye Qiu the right to order her around like that?

Even the director had never spoken to her that way.

Angered yet curious, Lin Qiao’er wondered why Ye Qiu was in such a hurry to track the license plate.

Sothing must have happened.

Recalling Ye Qiu’s tone just monts earlier, despite the veneer of calmness, on closer reflection, she could sense the chill in it.

“This guy isn’t planning to kill soone, is he?” The thought suddenly struck Lin Qiao’er.

Shocked, she realized the gravity of the situation and resolved not to let anything terrible happen.

Considering Ye Qiu’s disregard for taboos, if soone truly angered him, it could very well end in death.

Lin Qiao’er didn’t doubt Ye Qiu’s viciousness.

Since she’d been inford about the martial world, she understood that so people are beyond the reach of the law.

And in the world of martial arts, there were plenty of such individuals.

Lin Qiao’er repeated the license plate number Ye Qiu had given her, and imdiately called upon “Wok,” to help her track down the vehicle, ordering him to find the car’s location without delay or mistake.

Lin Qiao’er’s resolute and swift action was already commonplace at the police station, but being so tight-lipped as she was today was sowhat unusual.

“Boss, what did the owner of this car do?” Guozi couldn’t help being curious.

Lin Qiao’er gave him a glare, “Just do the search if you’re told to, no need for so much nonsense.”

“Guozi, the boss is in a bad mood, don’t go looking for trouble,” another male officer comforted Guozi, sympathetically saying.

Ye Qiu certainly couldn’t just sit around and wait; he pondered the route of the car and the motive for kidnapping Yinyin.

The other party could be criminals who steal and rob children, or they might have other reasons for targeting Yinyin.

Ye Qiu wasn’t sure, but he deduced that since the person dared to co here to kidnap Yinyin, they definitely wouldn’t take the main roads.

Thus, they would choose routes further from the city center.

Ye Qiu quickly brought to mind all the traffic routes of Zhongshan City.

When he first arrived in Zhongshan City, he had morized its entire map, which now proved to be extrely useful.

Ye Qiu’s eyes flickered, he swiftly pinpointed an essential route with developed connections in all directions.

With a move, he imdiately disappeared from where he stood.

At that mont, inside a gray van, Niu Yinyin was bound hand and foot, her mouth sealed with tape to prevent any sound.

The driver, a man with sharp ears and a sly look, was on the phone: “Young Master Song, the target has been captured and is in the car.”

“Good, drive the car to the designated location and be careful to watch the surroundings, making sure no one is following,” a man’s voice ca from the other end of the call.

“Understood, but Young Master Song, when will you give the money?”

“Relax, you won’t be short of a cent.

I’m transferring half right now and will give you the rest when you reach the destination.”

“With that said, I’m relieved.” Seeing the notification of the money transfer on his phone, the man squeezed out a smile.

To earn such a sum just for kidnapping a child was worth it!

Unlike other children who would be terrified when caught by bad people, Niu Yinyin’s eyes were tearless, but her two small hands behind her back were silently working to escape the ropes.

“Such a young one, clearly a future beauty,” he remarked with a lecherous snicker.

“I wonder what her mother, a great beauty, looks like?”

Ye Qiu stood at the crossroads, unceasingly scanning the traffic with his eyes that sparkled, In order to find Niu Yinyin, he spared no expense of his True Qi to activate his X-ray vision, piercing through all passing vehicles.

No, no, no!

As each car passed without sighting the kidnapper’s vehicle, Ye Qiu continued his search, knowing that the chances were slim, but he had to try anyway.

Every minute Niu Yinyin remained missing added a minute of danger.

Just as Ye Qiu’s True Qi was rapidly depleting, Lin Qiao’er’s phone rang.

Only five minutes were left from the half-hour mark he had given.

“The license plate number has been found.”

“It’s a vehicle from Capital City.

The owner is nad Li Shanhai, an unemployed drifter.

He is currently driving on Hankou Street and about to enter the highway towards Capital City,” she reported.

Ye Qiu responded with a simple ‘Mhm’ and hung up once again.

Although Lin Qiao’er was angry, she was powerless to do anything about it.

“Hankou Street!” Ye Qiu muttered these three words, his eyes a cold abyss.

At this mont, Ye Qiu was terrifyingly calm, but the towering rage within was about to erupt.
