Ye Qiu couldn’t help but notice the scrutiny and the fleeting disdain in the eyes of Qiao’er’s parents—all recorded in his sight.
“Xu Shaohua…” Qiao’er nodded slightly, very politely returning the greeting.

This scene made Lin’s parents very awkward, unsure how to explain to Xu Shaohua’s father.

Yet Ye Qiu was neither angry nor upset, simply stating, “What you said isn’t wrong, I indeed don’t have a dical license.”
Xu Shaohua, unable to hold back, laughed uncontrollably at this extraordinary person before him, “So you’re a quack doctor, haha…”
