Ye Qiu cursed inwardly; why wasn’t this man in black snatching the ice fruit like everyone else? In order to escape, Ye Qiu had reluctantly used one of the ice fruits.

Yet, it hadn’t led to a smooth escape.

“Ye Qiu, our clan leader specifically ordered your corpse be brought to him. Compared to your rule fruit, the leader’s reward is much richer.” The man in black clicked his tongue.

Ye Qiu’s heart jumped, finally understanding that soone had long harbored intentions against him.
