These zombies were once cultivators who died long ago and were buried in this Beast Corpse Mountain Range. Over ti, the corrosive Yin Fiend Aura from underground perated them, transforming them into zombies, far more powerful than they were in life. Particularly chilling is the aura of Yin Fiend that envelops them, and being originally cultivators, these zombies have sharper minds than the beast corpses.
Seeing Wang Xiaoqiang effortlessly catch the flying head, the zombie naturally refrained from making unnecessary attacks and imdiately resorted to a sinister trick.

The head swiftly hurtled toward Wang Xiaoqiang. Wang Xiaoqiang hadn't noticed the hidden move played by the zombie. As the Dragon Tendon coiled around the head, he suddenly felt a frigid chill emanate from it, spreading up his hand, then along his arm, and throughout his entire body, making him shiver uncontrollably.
"Ah!" Wang Xiaoqiang let out a startled cry, his face changing instantly. With a thought, the Fire Elent Immortal Liquid inside him coursed through his body, quickly expelling the Yin Fiend Aura.
Fortunately, he possessed an Undying Golden Body with strong resistance; otherwise, before he could activate the Fire Elent Immortal Liquid, the Yin Fiend Aura would have frozen him into immobility,
"Haha~~~~" The zombie, seeing that Wang Xiaoqiang had fallen for its trick, laughed at him mockingly, its laugh piercingly harsh and unbearably unpleasant.
The other zombies all pointed at Wang Xiaoqiang, laughing similarly. Hearing the ghostly cries of laughter, Wang Xiaoqiang covered his ears.
"If you dare, throw another one." Wang Xiaoqiang shouted at the zombie.
The zombie gabbed on in its eerie language to the others, who then all bent down to either pick up or slice off a criminal's head from the ground, each infusing their head with Yin Fiend Aura, then hurled them all at Wang Xiaoqiang in the sky.
Seeing this, Wang Xiaoqiang willed Ge Laoda and Little Yin, two fierce ghost puppets, to fly to his aid, helping him catch the heads. These two puppets also possessed Yin Fiend Aura within, making them immune to its effect, and thus they clumsily but effectively caught the heads with Storage Rings, while Wang Xiaoqiang repeatedly shook the Dragon Tendon to ensnare the heads.
Although the Yin Fiend Aura from the heads rushed along the Dragon Tendon into his body, the purity of his internal Fire Elent Immortal Liquid quickly dispelled it,
Ultimately, of the fifty-six heads, only thirty-two were caught, with the rest plumting back down.
"Try killing by throwing heads!" Wang Xiaoqiang yelled defiantly at the zombies.
The zombies were astonished to see Wang Xiaoqiang unafraid of the Yin Fiend Aura, realizing that rely relying on the aura from the heads posed no threat to him, they stopped wasting their efforts.
"Backing down, are you? Haha, didn't know you had it in you to surrender!" Wang Xiaoqiang taunted gleefully, provoking the zombies.
Hearing Wang Xiaoqiang's provocation, the zombies were enraged beyond words. If they could fly, they would have ripped him apart already.
Unfortunately, they couldn't fly.
In their fury, each of them emitted blue light from their eyes, nurous beams targeting Wang Xiaoqiang, making his heart jolt. He imdiately dodged out of the way.
"Goodbye, zombies, haha…" Wang Xiaoqiang waved at the zombies on the ground, then laughed boldly, filled with heroic spirit, and flew away with the Patterned Beast and the two ghost puppets.
At night, Wang Xiaoqiang dared not fly for long periods because the night sky teed with flying beast corpses, and if he attracted too many, it would beco exceedingly troubleso, entangling him with no escape.
Finding a cave, Wang Xiaoqiang lodged himself inside, while the Patterned Beast and the ghost puppets stood guard at the entrance.
Gathering the pile of criminal heads together, Wang Xiaoqiang counted them. Including today's haul, they totaled four hundred thirty-eight.
What filled him with pride wasn't just the number of heads. During his flight and battles, the Jinse Protector had also activated two additional layers of potential, now providing three layers of defense.
Additionally, of the disposable magic treasures, fifty-four red flying swords remained, and he believed they would soon find use.
Having taken stock, Wang Xiaoqiang lay down to sleep.
In the middle of the night, a cacophony of beast corpses roared outside, breaking the night's silence with the sound that shook heaven and earth.
Wang Xiaoqiang awoke and opened his eyes to see a colorful glow streaming in from the cave entrance, radiant and spectacular.
He was filled with wonder and moved to the cave entrance, where he saw the Patterned Beast and the two ghost puppets looking excitedly towards the distance.
The three of them gazed at the distant sky.
Following their line of sight, Wang Xiaoqiang saw an enormous flower-like shape occupying nearly half the night sky, with five petals, colorful and magnificent.
The flower-like glow illuminated the Beast Corpse Mountain Range in breathtaking splendor, causing the beast corpses and zombies to growl excitedly, visibly agitated.
Clearly, it was not a real flower, more like a mirage, similar to a sea city mirage, yet different because it wasn't rely an illusion…
"What on earth is this? Could it be a Flower Demon?" Wang Xiaoqiang murmured to himself, recalling a Flower Demon he encountered in the Immortal Realm, who later beca his lover. He knew Flower Demons could never grow this large, nor project such a vast illusion, a mystery he couldn't fathom, "Could it be? The legendary Flower Fairy?"
"No, that can't be right… Flower Fairies wouldn't appear in the Beast Corpse Mountain Range, it makes no sense. Could this be Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures?

"Hmm? Given how participants vanished yesterday, maybe they too rushed towards this heavenly treasure?" Realizing this, Wang Xiaoqiang hesitated not a mont longer. With a thought, the Patterned Beast crouched before him.
Wang Xiaoqiang stepped onto its back, and the Patterned Beast spread its wings, flying into the night sky towards the giant flower's projection with Ge Laoda and Little Yin as phantoms trailing closely behind.
Flying atop the Patterned Beast, Wang Xiaoqiang saw all the beast corpses and zombies erging from the mountains, forming waves of creatures rushing towards the massive floral projection, letting out excited cries.
Amidst them, Wang Xiaoqiang spotted a pair of male and female participants, flying together towards the giant flower with urgency etched on their faces, shouting excitedly, "Heavenly Eye Flower, here we co, please mature just a little later…" (To be continued.
