To be honest, if this matter occurred in the Immortal Realm or Biluo Realm, Wang Xiaoqiang wouldn't have to hold back; he'd directly annihilate that bald man and Officer Chen.
But on Earth, no way. Earth is a world governed by law where all citizens, no matter how wealthy or influential, cannot casually kill people; otherwise, endless trouble will ensue. Especially in a place like the police station.
Next, the four people from the bald man's group and the four mbers of Wang Xiaoqiang's family were detained for individual interrogations.
The bald man's group was only interrogated as a formality; once in the interrogation room, they began smoking and chatting with the interrogators.
But Wang Xiaoqiang and his family were treated harshly. Wang Xiaoqiang and his son Wang Rui were strapped to the interrogation chairs, which are intended for those who are violent, have committed heinous cris, and aren't honest in confessing them.
Wang Xiaoqiang had sat in one before and felt nothing of it, but when he opened his Heavenly Eye and scanned the room, finding the bald n smoking and chatting, while his son Wang Rui was also forcefully strapped in, his anger boiled over. The Raging Waves Swordfall within him almost erupted to destroy everything, but he suppressed it, and with a thought, released the ghost, instructing it, "Go, find Officer Chen's family and cripple a few..."
The ghost accepted the order and vanished from the interrogation room. Naturally, a ghost possesses greater abilities than humans, appearing and disappearing without a trace, finding out anything and anyone within monts.
The interrogation then began.
"What's your na?"
"Wang Xiaoqiang."
"I think I've heard this na sowhere." The interrogator murmured, then asked, "Age?"
"Thirty-two."
"Huh? You're lying. Show your ID." The interrogator thought Wang Xiaoqiang looked only in his twenties, so asked for his ID.
"I haven't used that thing for many years, not sure where it's gone now." Wang Xiaoqiang replied playfully, knowing this interrogation was aningless, waiting for the ghost to succeed, opting for force against force.
"Cooperate, or else don't bla us for being rude..."
The interrogator didn't ask for the ID again but instead asked, "Occupation?"
Wang Xiaoqiang casually said, "Unemployed wanderer."
He was indeed unemployed now, but this "wanderer" referred to traveling.
"Why did you crash into their rcedes? Was it intentional or an accident?"
"Please, get the facts straight first; they crashed into us first," Wang Xiaoqiang replied impatiently.
"We've investigated. It was you who crashed into them first, and their car was severely damaged. If you compensate, this case can be quickly settled... you don't have to suffer here..." the interrogator, tired, got straight to the point.
"Compensate? In the next life... uh, don't even think about it in the next life. I may have money, but throwing money into water makes a splash; I refuse to feed these societal parasites, refuse to fuel this crooked practice." Wang Xiaoqiang shouted angrily.
"Why are you yelling? Hey, you've got so temper. Seems you need a lesson to behave." The interrogator raised a baton toward Wang Xiaoqiang.
"Those who aid evildoers et bad ends," Wang Xiaoqiang stared daggers at the interrogator, his aura shook him instantly, "Go, call Officer Chen for ."
The interrogator seed spellbound, imdiately ran out to call Officer Chen, who ca in smoking, demanding, "What? Still haven't confessed?"
"Officer Chen, this kid's stubborn and foul-mouthed; he's like a stone in a latrine..." the interrogator said.
"Stubborn? Damn it, beat him until he confesses..." Officer Chen commanded arrogantly as if Wang Xiaoqiang were a true criminal.
The initially intimidated interrogator, now emboldened by Officer Chen, raised the baton to strike Wang Xiaoqiang's head.
But before striking, Wang Xiaoqiang asked, "Officer Chen, how's your family?"
This sudden question shocked Officer Chen and the interrogator, stopping them in their tracks.
"Kid, what do you an?" Officer Chen sensed sothing amiss, gestured for the interrogator to step back, then approached Wang Xiaoqiang, eyes fixed as if to see through him.
"Nothing. Just a greeting..." Wang Xiaoqiang smirked coldly, his smile harboring ill intentions.
"About my family? Threatening ? Ha? You damn it, struggling to protect yourself, yet concerned about my family?" Officer Chen seized the baton from the interrogator, poked Wang Xiaoqiang's face, and sneered, "Know that? I detest threats most. You touched my weak spot today... now see how I deal with you..."
As he raised the baton towards Wang Xiaoqiang's head, his phone suddenly rang from his waist.
Dropping the baton, he took out his phone—it was his wife calling. He quickly answered, "Hey, honey, what's up?"
"Old Chen, your brother's been crippled..."
"What? Who did this?"
"No idea, he just ca back from drinking outside. Lately, he's been mixing with local thugs, courting trouble..."
"Okay, I got it." Officer Chen hung up, unaffected by his troubleso brother's crippled state, not suspecting Wang Xiaoqiang at all.
He was about to put away his phone when Wang Xiaoqiang smirked, "Don't rush to put away your phone, there'll be another call soon..."
"Huh?" Officer Chen was stunned, his gaze fixated sharply on Wang Xiaoqiang's face, startled and suspicious, "Was it you?"
Wang Xiaoqiang didn't reply, raised his chin, smiling gleefully.
Officer Chen's phone rang again—it was his wife's number again. He hurriedly answered, and before speaking, his wife's urgent, tearful voice erged, "Old Chen, our s-son has been crippled..."
"What?? Who did this? They're bullying ..." Officer Chen roared.
"Don't know," his wife replied, heartbroken. No one would. Even top detectives couldn't figure it out.
"I know." Wang Xiaoqiang said with a smile.
Officer Chen's gaze locked onto Wang Xiaoqiang's face, full of malice and fierceness, "Kid, if it's really you, I'll imprison you."
"Police work requires evidence. Without it, what can you do to ?" Wang Xiaoqiang sneered, (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, please visit Qidian (qidian) to vote for it, your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please visit m.qidian to read.)
