At that ti, Tanimoto Ichiro, Chiba Keiko, and Miyazaki Yuki didn't doubt Wang Xiaoqiang's words at all. Looking at him again, the awe in their eyes intensified by ten percent. It made sense, after all, with Wang Xiaoqiang's abilities, even the Yamata no Orochi of Japanese legend would be apprehensive; let alone the insignificant Rose Organization.
Having heard what Wang Xiaoqiang said, the fear in Tanimoto Ichiro's heart dissipated. Indeed, with a deity-like person like Wang Xiaoqiang present, why fear so minor assassin? He then let loose and drank liberally, eventually getting drunk.
Wang Xiaoqiang, who could drink without ever getting drunk, saw that Tanimoto Ichiro had passed out on the table and instructed Miyazaki Yuki to help him back to his room. He then also returned to his room to sleep.
The next afternoon, the cruise ship arrived at an Australian port. Since Wang Xiaoqiang had promised to travel with Jenny's family, he naturally would not break his word. He instructed the two female servants to pack up, and the four of them disembarked with Jenny's family.
When introducing Tanimoto Ichiro and the two female servants, Wang Xiaoqiang naturally couldn't introduce them truthfully, but instead described them as his business partners.
Jenny's family were not Chinese and did not have the habit of prying. They simply shook hands with the three of them and exchanged greetings without delving into deeper conversation.
After disembarking, the group took a plane to Victoria State, landing at Sydney Airport.
Then, the Jas Clan drove to pick them up. Since Jas had called for an extra car on the phone, Wang Xiaoqiang's party of four didn't need to transfer to another vehicle. A super luxury Bentley carried Jas's family, while another one carried Wang Xiaoqiang and his companions. Tanimoto Ichiro considerately took the passenger seat, leaving the backseat for Wang Xiaoqiang and the two won.
As the host, Wang Xiaoqiang naturally couldn't sit on the outside, so he ended up being sandwiched between the two female servants in the middle of the car seat,
The Bentley circled around the seaside, affording Wang Xiaoqiang his first glimpse of the Sydney Opera House, as spectacular and opulent as legend has it.
The Sydney Opera House is located in Sydney Harbour, surrounded by water on three sides, boasting an open environnt and famous for its unique architectural design. It looks like three triangles peering upward by the riverside, with white shell-like roofs, earning it the nickna, "the serene nun looking into the distance."
These "shells" are arranged in sequence, the first three overlapping one another, embracing the bay, with the last one standing in service facing away from the bay. From a distance, they look like two sets of open clamshells placed upside down. The unevenly high pointed shell roofs are covered with white grid-glazed ceramic, which under the sunlight, can be perceived as standing shells or two huge white sailboats floating on the blue sea, which is why it's known as the "sail roof theatre." The shell-shaped pointed roofs are made of 2,194 precast concrete pieces each weighing 15.3 tons and assembled tightly with steel cables, covered with 1.05 million white or cream-colored tiles.
After leaving the City of Sydney and dashing inland across Australia, a vast Australian ranch unfolded before their eyes, grand and beautiful!
Australia's interior has no high mountains, but hills are common.
The large grasslands are dotted with herds of cattle and sheep scattered across the pastures. In Australia, the livestock roam free; cows and sheep graze, ruminate, rest, and sleep on the lush pastures. Here, there are no wolves, no natural predators, and no need to worry about thieves, for a thief cannot easily sell or consu stolen cattle or sheep. It's a harmonious and wondrous natural ranch.
In the afternoon between 3 and 4 o'clock, when passing by ranches, it's common to see many dairy cows lined up waiting to be milked, creating an interesting and lively scene.
Australian ranches are divided into sections because the pastures have a growth period of about three months. Thus, allowing livestock to graze on different pastures ensures the grasslands' growth cycle.
In Australia, not only is the at of cattle and sheep exported, but even the grass from the ranches is shipped abroad. Round bales of grass are wrapped in white plastic and wait to be sent away by ship. This grass is of high quality and quite expensive. China also imports it, but it is used to feed racehorses.
People say that when in Australia, one must try the beef and mutton. The lamb served in Australian restaurants lacks any gay odor because what they offer is "lamb," young lamb, which of course, is quite pricy. In supermarkets, a pound of Spring Lamb less than a year old sells for about 45 Australian Dollars, which is roughly 300 Chinese Yuan per pound.
While lamb at is distinct, the quality of Australian milk is exceptionally good, yet the price is incredibly cheap, at 2 dollars per liter in supermarkets. Brought ho and stored in the fridge, then consud cold without heating, the taste is superb!
Before nightfall, the Bentley first reached Yesang Ranch, only then did Jenny's family head ho. Before leaving, Jenny invited Wang Xiaoqiang to her ho as a guest. Wang Xiaoqiang promised to visit once everything was settled.
The scale of Yesang Ranch was quite impressive, and the workers were all locals from Australia. Only two managers were assigned by Tanimoto Ichiro. Upon the boss's arrival, the two managers imdiately ran over. Tanimoto Ichiro called for an electric cart, and the four of them took a tour. They briefly checked out the main buildings, like the cowshed and sheep pen. There was a residential area for the workers and an elegant villa for Tanimoto Ichiro, though it was vacant most of the ti as he seldom ca there.
The Japanese Kobe cattle that were introduced to this ranch were growing and breeding, but possibly due to the water and soil conditions, they would get sick and die frequently, and the ranch's profits never increased. Tanimoto Ichiro had lost interest in the ranch and, of course, this was the main reason he gave it to Wang Xiaoqiang as a gift.
Since the ranch was a gift from Tanimoto Ichiro and not sothing Wang Xiaoqiang had bought himself, there was nothing for him to pick on. After making a round, Tanimoto Ichiro led the three of them to a villa, which, although it hadn't been lived in for a long ti, was always cleaned, so it was very tidy.
Tanimoto Ichiro ordered two managers to slaughter a lamb and prepare als with beef, much to the managers' surprise. How could the usual stingy boss beco so generous all of a sudden? The lamb sold for sixty to seventy Australian dollars per pound in the market, and the ranch's Kobe beef was all rated 5A, selling for fifteen hundred dollars per pound.
The boss must be losing his touch!
They were actually right, the ranch was about to change hands, and everything at the ranch would belong to soone else; Tanimoto Ichiro naturally wouldn't try to save Wang Xiaoqiang any expenses. So, he broke from his usual custom and was generously hospitable for once.
Half an hour later, the als were served. There was cumin lamb, lamb hotpot, lamb fried rice, and Kobe beef served cold, on a teppan, stir-fried...
Beer, red wine, and white wine were also prepared. With plenty of liquor and at, they enjoyed the al thoroughly.
The lamb was fragrant without any gay sll, and the Kobe beef was tender and smooth, which had Wang Xiaoqiang singing its praises. Thus, he asked Tanimoto Ichiro about the prices of the ranch's sheep and cattle.
Tanimoto Ichiro was quite forthcoming, answering every question in detail, except for the poor managent aspect which he did not reveal.
Wang Xiaoqiang didn't ask about these things; he could be sure that once the ranch was in his hands, profits would increase. His focus was on the prices of the cattle and sheep.
With many rooms in the villa and everyone full from food and wine, the four of them settled down to rest in the villa.
The next day, Tanimoto Ichiro took Wang Xiaoqiang to the local governnt departnt to complete the ranch's ownership transfer procedures and then spent the afternoon completing the handover of the ranch. The two Japanese managers weren't wanted by Wang Xiaoqiang, and he had Tanimoto Ichiro take them back to Japan.
The following day, Tanimoto Ichiro, along with the two Japanese managers, took a flight back to Japan.
Under Wang Xiaoqiang's arrangent, Chiba Keiko and Miyazaki Yuki beca the new managers of the ranch. Not only were these two female servants responsible for Wang Xiaoqiang's daily living, but they were also in charge of managing the ranch.
The ranch covered 8,000 acres, making it a super large ranch with a total of one hundred and ten workers. The original foreman was nad Simon, a man in his fifties, and Wang Xiaoqiang continued to appoint him as the foreman, for he had the experience in managing a ranch.
Simon was moved by Wang Xiaoqiang's trust in him. Being straightforward, he would speak his mind and wasn't afraid of offending the boss. During their first conversation, Simon expressed his skepticism about Wang Xiaoqiang taking over Yesang Ranch. There were concerns since the ranch mainly raised Kobe cattle, which were not thriving due to the unsuitable environnt, leading to revenue shortfalls. Moreover, Tanimoto Ichiro had always struggled to establish his business in the area, which led to the suppression of the sale prices of cattle and sheep. Furthermore, other ranches had been coveting the Kobe cattle and wanted to introduce them but were t with Tanimoto Ichiro's steadfast refusal, causing Yesang Ranch to frequently suffer from disturbances by lawbreakers. The two Japanese managers were assigned under such circumstances.
Facing Simon's doubt, Wang Xiaoqiang didn't hide anything and straightforwardly said, "Actually, this ranch was a gift from Tanimoto Ichiro."
Simon was surprised by Wang Xiaoqiang's answer, which also provided him with a sense of relief. If the ranch had been bought, then in his view, it would have been quite unworthy. But since it was a gift, there was no reason not to accept it.
Regarding the managent and future developnt of Yesang Ranch, Simon proposed his own views.
First, he suggested turning the unthriving Kobe cattle ranch into a breeding farm to sell calves,
Second, he recomnded focusing on sheep as the main business objective. Although the price of sheep was not as high as that of Kobe cattle, the local sheep thrived well, ensuring that even if they didn't make a fortune, they wouldn't lose money. (To be continued.
