As everyone arrived in a hall organized with tables full of myriad food dishes and the feast began, Erix and others started getting fancy ssages.
The Reverend-order big shots were sending their live introduction and list of benefits to them.
All of them wanted to snatch Erix and others from Tenebria.
Sitting at a table, Erix popped a vein, "This is annoying. I can't even eat without soone shoving their face in my mind. Is this really allowed?"

Reverend-order powerhouses that sent their ssages to Erix and others, and they weren't even capable of blocking them.
Naturally, Erix's words were captured by everyone.
Standing up, Erix cleared his throat as the sound spread, gaining everyone's attention.
The other Empyreans in the hall started thinking and conversing.
'Is he going to accept soone's offer?'
'Which force will it be? Golden Palm is the current rank 1 force of Adriax Super World, so I'm sure they must have given the most benefits.'
'Or maybe they didn't offer anything? It's not like they

'They gave us so many offers, and we have co to make our decision,' Erix smiled.
Rin and others also smiled and nodded at Tenebria.
"So, you all gave us offers in big and fancy words, I know you will keep them, but you know…" Erix faintly smiled as his glance swept at everyone. "We don't need them."
"We don't need your support, sponsorship, resources, or anything," Erix's smile turned sharp, his eyes serene.
"We'll reach the top regardless. When the ti cos, you can either make way or get crushed."
In an instant, everyone reacted differently, but Erix felt pressure on him as if the world were going to crumble on him.
And another instance later, Erix felt his entire body was about to be crushed, particularly his knees as if soone deliberately wanted him to kneel.
Tenebria's eyes coldly glinted as she was about to help Erix, but she suddenly heard from him as she stopped.
Lady Wisteria was watching him and knew what was going on, her eyes fixed on him.
"Who was it?" Erix asked as his smile turned into a grin, his eyes oozing an indomitable will. "Even if I die, you won't make kneel. Not even my lifeless body will kneel."
A strange glow covered him as Erix stood still, not giving in to whoever that wanted to make him kneel.

All Reverend-order powerhouses' eyes showed a flicker of shock.
'How can fight against against that?'

'If he doesn't die, he is going far…far enough to see the horizons we have only heard about.'
'But will he not die in this dog fight?'
'Tenebria will have to protect him.'
"It seems I overestimated you all," Erix let out a chuckle. "You dare to make a move but not na yourself. Good."
"If you can't even find your enemy, how can you hope to defeat them?" A middle-aged man wearing a golden-black suit and a hat with a curved beard said, his eyes light yellow with black star marks in his pupils.

"That's true," Erix smiled in response and turned to Tenebria, "Who was it?"
"A rat through and through," Tenebria said as she looked at one of the people wearing a brown furry coat over a white gaberdine. He was a demon with two short spiral black horns on his head.
"Won't you agree, Plagued Claw Martin?"
Plagued Claw Martin—leader of the 8th most powerful force on the Adriax Super World and ranked 13th in terms of combat power among peak Reverend-order powerhouse.
Erix looked at him, his eyes and smile turning icy. 'A rat, huh?'
But he only looked at him for a second before his tone changed as he chuckled, "Anyway, I've given all of you my answer. Now, let's continue with the feast."
This caused Plauged Claw Martin's face to turn ugly. He thought Erix was about to say sothing and was prepared to retort cleverly, but Erix just changed the subject after dumping cold water on him.
'Boss, should we raid that witch's territory and kill him?'
His most promising and talented Empyrean-order follower, a Dark Elf called Vuzan, relayed to him, prompting Martin to glare at him.
'I-I was just saying,' Vuzan was taken aback.
'You think it's so easy to enter a peak Reverend-order's territory and kill soone?'
'But she called you rat, boss… And we are at war anyway, so we should kill them,' Vuzan said as he glared hatefully at Erix.
He was one of the people who got randomly killed by Erix's mass attack. He saw his eyes didn't even et Erix. He wasn't even considered a threat!
'Bastard, do you think Tenebria is weak just because she isn't in the ranking?! In terms of combat power alone, she rivals the top 3! Her organization is small and she is aloof, so you younglings don't know her capability.'
'But…' Martin's eyes focused on Erix as they glinted darkly. 'He will surely pay the price for his arrogance.'

The feast didn't last long as groups started leaving one by one. The last ones to leave were Tenerbia's group and Ayaka's group as they faced Lady Wisteria to bid their leave.
"You boy sure knows how to stir up others," Lady Wisteria said with a chuckle as she looked at Erix.
"It was inevitable since I intended to refuse them," Erix smiled.
"And it's good that we attracted soone who will test the waters for others," Lilith chuckled.
"Will he make any move on us?" Rin wondered.
"He surely will," Ayaka wryly smiled.
"Indeed," Lady Wisteria nodded, turning to Tenebria, she added, "Take care. It should be sooner rather than later given his nature."
"Yeah. I don't mind putting down one more rat," Tenebria said as her purple eyes flickered. "It's been a hundred years since the last ti I did that."
"By the way, I want to ask," Erix said, his eyes curious. "Is it possible for Empyrean-order to…kill Reverend-order powerhouses?"
"And I an, even peak Reverend-order powerhouses," he added, his eyes glinting dark gold.
