54 Forest Hunt
After several minutes, the trio arrived at the forest part behind TreeBug resort to kill the supra-order monkey monster.
Isabella needed to kill it to complete her second class task, so they directly started searching for it.
"Eh? Stop," Erix commanded the eagle to stop and narrowed his eyes. His Aura Vision showed him a bright presence in the forest below.
*Growl!*
A pair of red eyes glowed below and looked above at Erix.
"That's a beast-type supra-order monster. It's not a monkey, but this is also fine," Erix inford before standing up on the eagle's back. "Let's descend."
"Let start with an opening attack," Rin said with a grin as she unfurled her Lightning Spark wings and infused 20 mana to activate its ability.
*Swoosh! Crackle!*
As Rin descended with a crackle of lightning, the beast below issued a roar, and along with it ca an attack.
A wide wind slash!
However, Rin took out her Blade Eater, infused 100 blade energy into it to empower it, and swung it powerfully!
*Slash!*
The incoming wind blade was cleanly cut into two because its spell structure was destroyed, causing it to disperse!
"So there you are," Rin narrowed her eyes with a sharp smile as she maximized her speed while aiming towards the beast.
As she descended with her glowing and lightning-crackling sword, the tree was cut off while the beast beneath it swiped its paws at the incoming sword attack.
A clash occurred, but it didn't last long as Rin's attack cut off the beast's paw cleanly!

*Roar!*
Rin finally saw the beast clearly and inspected it.

The Lion rushed towards Rin, its speed quick as the wind gathered around it.
However, it was not quicker than Rin as she easily dodged the charge without using her Thunder Blitz skill.
'Erix said to exert our skills over the limits to acquire affinity… I have to try.'
Rin had two lightning-attributed skills, so she decided to do sothing with them.
But before she could do that, Isabella's voice rang.
"Rin, Erix, can you leave this Lion to ? I want to kill alone," Isabella said after she descended with Erix and imdiately used her Fla Whips to bind the Lion as it roared in anger.

"Alright."
The Lion suddenly burst with wind power as the Fla Whips dispersed. It opened its mouth towards Isabella as a whirling wind sphere ford, which quickly shot towards Isabella.
However, Isabella was calm and determined. She used Wind Dash and dodged the incoming attack before using Fla Whip again.
Since Fla Whip was her most powerful skill, she only planned to use her other offense skill, Venom Ball, if the situation required it.
Seeing Isabella calmly handling the Lion, Erix and Rin stood away from their battle.
"Erix, I am going to try sothing to acquire the Lightning affinity," Rin said as she took a deep breath.
"Oh?"
"The lightning charge skill ntioned that I can use any object or a limb of my body to empower it, but… how about I charge my entire body with it?"
"That…" Erix was taken aback. "It might harm you, though."
"Hehe, that's not all, darling," Rin grinned with a fiery glint in her eyes. "I will use Thunder Blitz after charging my body with Lightning Charge for a combo."
After saying that, she outright started doing what she decided.
Spending whooping 70 mana at once, she used Lightning Charge as powerful blue lightning imdiately started crackling over her body.
Instantly, her eyes rolled backward, and she swayed back.
Erix quickly grabbed her waist to prevent her from falling, but the lightning around her body was out of control and transferred to Erix as a jolt passed through his entire body.
"Ouch…" Despite his high pain tolerance, Erix let out an ouch from his mouth as he wryly smiled.
The lightning gradually dispersed, and Erix lightly slapped her cheeks a few tis as she opened her eyes.
"It h-hurts, alright. I was not expecting that," Rin said as she stamred due to the skill getting out of her control since she tried to use it in an unusual way.
"Sit and recover your mana," Erix said as he helped Rin sit down since her body beca slightly stiffy.
*Shrr…*
Erix's ear perked as he heard a faint growl and turned to his left.
Seeing a pair of red eyes belonging to a strange creature, Erix grunted and tried to exert his aura pressure. After using Aura Vision many tis, he learned to ooze out his physical body's prowess and magic power in an aura form.
Only perceptive people could sense such a thing, but wild animals were always highly perceptive since they lived in dangerous environnts all the ti.
However, when Erix saw that the pair of eyes belonged to a giant mutated praying Mantis that was one ter tall and had sharp hands and slender legs, he didn't bother scaring it and quickly used his Nether Grasp skill to grab it tightly.
He had learned about mantises from martial arts movies and martial art forums on the internet that Mantises were highly fearless as they would even retaliate and fight foes of bigger sizes.
They were not emotionless but just very daring and highly fearless.
So Erix instantly judged that this mutated praying Mantis would surely be more daring than normal Mantises and decided to attack it before it could attack him or Rin.
*Shaaa!*
It was a level 48 creature, so it was not weak. Using its razor-sharp hands and wind power, it slashed apart the Nether Grasp and dashed toward Erix while issuing a low screech!
However, Erix simply stood up and ford iron tal gauntlets in his arms before infusing 20 mana in them to empower their structure.
*Slash!*
As the mutated giant Mantis swiped its razor hand towards Erix's neck, Erix masterfully blocked it with his left hand as a mantis' razor hand only slightly damaged his gauntlet!
The Mantis visibly revealed a shocked expression because its razor hands had always managed to slash all foes it encountered before, even against humans it had killed before, so this outco shocked it.
"Ti to die, critter."
