By evening, Su Qingxue and Heather, who had just t, seed to have endless things to talk about. Under the bright moon and sparse stars, Ye Fan seized the opportunity and decisively barged into their room.
"What are you doing?" Heather imdiately demanded.
Su Qingxue was even more blunt. "Get out!"
"I’ve co to sleep, of course. What else would I be doing?" Ye Fan said. He refused to reveal his true intentions, though both won knew exactly what he was after.
As a result, the mont he lay down on the bed, he was roughly kicked out by the pair. Unable to have his way despite having a room, Ye Fan was filled with an inexpressible sadness and was utterly at a loss for words.
Just as he was about to head to his own room to endure the long night alone, a thought struck him.
Wait, I’m their man. Why should I be afraid of them?
He suddenly latched onto this very serious question. That’s right, why should he be?
I’m stronger than them, so there’s no way I can’t subdue them. What a failure! This ti, I’m going to get my own back!
The more Ye Fan thought about it, the more aggrieved he felt. And so, he imdiately stord back inside.
The two won once again began to punch and kick him, but this ti, they were subdued by Ye Fan. There was no helping it; n could be so domineering, especially when this was part of a plan Ye Fan had contemplated for a long ti. No matter how much they resisted, he ultimately succeeded.
At first, the won were filled with furious curses, but after Ye Fan employed his signature techniques, they found themselves unable to rage any longer. The feeling of holding a woman in each arm was just too satisfying, and Ye Fan was secretly smug, certain that a great battle was about to ensue.
After a long night of battle, the two won decided to get their revenge on the brutish man the next morning. Consequently, Ye Fan had a miserable ti being endlessly teased by them before he finally walked out of the room looking completely disheveled.
After breakfast, Heather said, "A thousand years ago, there were several powerful individuals. If they’re still alive, their strength today cannot be underestimated!"
Ye Fan asked, "Who are they?"
"The Wudang Sword Saint! A thousand years ago, he stood unparalleled with his swordsmanship. In that era, he was undoubtedly the number one swordsman. He just retired to Wudang Mountain later on," she explained. "There are also the Four Iron Generals and the Pharaoh. They appeared in different eras, but people like them wouldn’t have simply died without a reason. They are likely in seclusion, pursuing the realms they seek! And those are just the Martial Artists from the Divine Land. There must be many more from other parts of the world!"
Drawing from both her knowledge and Su Qingxue’s mories, Heather listed these figures. Ye Fan had never imagined that a tiny planet like Earth had given birth to such powerful people. It seed his expulsion plan would be far from simple.
Analyzing the situation, Heather continued, "Individually, they might not be your match. But once you begin your expulsion plan, they could band together. If that happens, even you might not be able to handle them!"
Heather’s words made Ye Fan realize the gravity of the situation. "It seems I’ll have to defeat them one by one," he concluded. It now seed this was the only way to succeed. Otherwise, if these individuals joined forces, they would pose a significant problem for him.
The two won imdiately nodded in agreent. After all, a thousand years ago, the golden age of Martial Cultivators had not yet passed, giving rise to many experts. Although most had died, so had simply vanished without a trace. Ye Fan hadn’t seen their nas on any list in the Spirit Suppressing Domain, so he was convinced they were still alive.
"If that’s the case, then I must make the first move," he declared.
The two won nodded, making it clear that when he truly launched the expulsion plan, they would fight shoulder-to-shoulder with him.
Ye Fan left Jiangning, but he didn’t imdiately go looking for these people. Instead, he reviewed the intelligence transmitted from Heavenly King Hall while also making a trip to the Ice Glacier Grassland.
Although these individuals were not yet his enemies, he knew their type: they would hide during tis of chaos only to reappear and plague the world in tis of peace. While this wasn’t his direct concern at present, what about his family and his faction? If he were to one day leave this world for another realm, there was no guarantee these people wouldn’t move against his loved ones and followers. Therefore, he believed the best solution was to deal with these lawless figures of the Secular World before he departed for the Spirit Suppressing Domain. Only then could he leave with peace of mind to fulfill his duty as a Spirit Suppressing Person.
Upon his arrival at the Ice Glacier Grassland, a massive chunk of ice descended from the sky. When it landed, it revealed the Grassland Bear. After countless transformations, the Grassland Bear had grown to a level beyond the reach of ordinary people. Without a doubt, its strength now rivaled that of a Reincarnation Realm Martial Artist, and its combat prowess might even be greater. The mont it appeared, it began to affectionately nuzzle against Ye Fan.
Ye Fan picked up the shrunken Grassland Bear. "I’m taking you to see the world!" he said.
While he called it "seeing the world," a less pleasant way to put it would be recruiting a free bodyguard. It had to be said that the Grassland Bear, its intelligence not yet fully developed, trusted Ye Fan far too much. Fortunately for it, Ye Fan was a reliable man.
The man and the bear arrived at Wudang Mountain. Wudang Mountain was the source of many ancient legends, as the Taoists had once flourished here. Being on good terms with them, Ye Fan felt he had to visit and pay his respects. Of course, this ti his visit wasn’t purely ceremonial; he was here to find soone. The Wudang Sword Saint had once gone into seclusion here.
Years ago, a brutal war had erupted in the Spirit Suppressing Domain, and most of Earth’s masters had joined the fight, never to return. However, a small number had avoided the call, and so even erged to wreak havoc on the world—the European Pope being a pri example. There was also the Cain Ancestor. Fortunately, the Blood Ancestor had nded his ways in the end, so Ye Fan did not hold him accountable.
The Wudang Sword Saint was one of those who stayed behind. Back then, wielding his Wudang Sword, he was said to have the potential to beco a legendary swordsman like Sword Master Gai Nie. Yet, when the world truly needed him, he retreated.
When Ye Fan arrived at Wudang Mountain, he could sense the temple was flourishing with worshippers, but he couldn’t detect the aura of any supre master. He began to suspect the Sword Saint had already been gone for many years. However, he stopped short outside Clear Lake within the mountain grounds. He sensed sothing unusual about this place, so he didn’t leave imdiately. It was then that he noticed an old man fishing on the opposite shore.
The area was deserted. Ye Fan tapped the surface of the water with his toe and flew across, landing beside the old man. The man remained motionless, exuding a profound and unfathomable aura that made him impossible to read.
Ye Fan spoke up, "As the saying goes, ’Water that is too clear has no fish.’ There shouldn’t be any fish here, or perhaps only a few small ones. Sir, why do you sit here fishing alone?"
"I fish here because my days are filled with anxiety," the old man replied. "I know the outco will be harsh, yet I cannot give up."
"I see what you an," Ye Fan said, his eyes shining brightly. "Senior, do you know where the Wudang Sword Saint is?"
