Just then, Ye Fan heard a wail. He quickly turned and walked into the darkness, only to discover a colorful fox amidst the shadows. The fox seed to be injured, lying on the ground and wailing. As Ye Fan approached, he saw that its injuries were severe. Its fur was multicolored—it was the legendary Divine Beast known as the Seven-Colored Divine Fox.
The Seven-Colored Divine Fox was a high-level Divine Beast. Although powerful, it was incredibly rare. The creature was non-existent in the mortal world and considered a legend even in the Divine Domain, making it truly unique. Far rarer than other Divine Beasts, the Seven-Colored Divine Fox was said to be capable of charming all living things. However, this particular one, which glowed with a faint blue light, didn’t seem like a charr at all; it looked more like a cute little animal.
Ye Fan approached the Seven-Colored Divine Fox and scooped it up.
"How dare you grab ! This lady won’t let you off!" The Seven-Colored Divine Fox struggled, but she was too weak to break free from Ye Fan’s grasp.
"Oh! Still struggling? Look at your frail body. Were you perhaps undergoing a tribulation?" Ye Fan asked curiously.
But the Seven-Colored Divine Fox only responded with whimpering sounds.
"It seems it wasn’t you. Although you have so Spiritual Energy, your strength is too weak. You haven’t even transford into human form!" Ye Fan said imdiately.
In his view, it must have been the Seven-Colored Divine Fox’s master who had perished while transcending a tribulation, and this little fox had suffered as a result.
"Never mind. Since I’m in a good mood, I’ll save your life!" Ye Fan declared.
The Seven-Colored Divine Fox muttered to herself, Who asked you to save ? How presumptuous!
Ye Fan took out a green dicinal plaster, refined from spiritual herbs, from inside his pants. This wasn’t because he had a peculiar habit of hiding valuables there. It was a lesson learned from his ti with Mu Keqing; if he didn’t hide his treasures in his pants, she would undoubtedly scavenge them all. Because of that, Ye Fan had grown smarter.
How disgusting! The Seven-Colored Divine Fox hadn’t expected Ye Fan to be so uncouth. She desperately wanted to break free and refuse his treatnt.

Ye Fan held the Seven-Colored Divine Fox firmly. By now, she was crying, utterly disgusted by him but unable to escape his grasp. Then, Ye Fan spat twice and roughly stuck the green dicinal plaster onto her.

The Seven-Colored Divine Fox truly cried, sobbing her heart out. In her entire life, she had never encountered soone as disgusting as Ye Fan.
The Seven-Colored Divine Fox nearly fainted, almost dying from pure rage. She had seen disgusting people before, but never anyone as vile as Ye Fan.
Ye Fan cradled her in his arms and continued on through the night.
You wretched man! When my strength is restored, it will be the day you die! I’ve already morized your scent. As long as you’re in the Divine Domain, I will one day find you and cut you into a thousand pieces! The Seven-Colored Divine Fox was very protective of her fur, but the brutish Ye Fan had no such scruples.
Ahead in the darkness, Ye Fan sensed several powerful auras and heard the roaring of beasts. These auras all belonged to beings far stronger than him. Only now did he realize what a unique place the Outer Domain truly was.
Looking ahead, he saw several Hunters chasing a black panther. The panther was running for its life, but as arrows rained down, it was pinned dead to the spot.
How cruel!
Ye Fan realized these Hunters weren’t hunting re wild animals, but powerful Demon Beasts. This black panther possessed at least the strength of the Sixth Nirvana realm. Yet even with that level of power, it was shot dead by arrows. These Hunters were unbelievably strong.
They saw Ye Fan and shot him a cold stare.
Ye Fan quickly held up his hands innocently. "I’m just passing by! I won’t disturb you. Please, continue."
"Kid, get lost!" one of the Hunters growled. "A beast tide is coming. The Beast King is dead, so the horde will attack mindlessly! If you don’t want to die here, then get as far away as you can!"
Although their words were grating, Ye Fan knew they were trying to help him, so he started to walk away. He had only taken about a dozen steps, however, when one of them called out.
"Wait!"
Ye Fan turned. "Yes, brothers? Is there sothing else?"
"You have the aura of an Immortal Beast on you," the lead Hunter demanded. "Hand it over!"
An Immortal Beast was an existence even higher than a Demon Beast. They could transform into human form and were considered the apex of all Demon Beasts. Their sense of sll was incredibly sharp; they had detected the aura imdiately.
Damn it! Ye Fan thought. The Seven-Colored Divine Fox was indeed an Immortal Beast. Having just saved her, there was no way he would hand her over.
The frightened Seven-Colored Divine Fox huddled deeper into Ye Fan’s arms. At this critical mont, a plan imdiately ford in Ye Fan’s mind.
The Seven-Colored Divine Fox thought coldly, At my peak, I could have blown you petty Hunters to dust with a single breath! For now, I’ll let this slide. Wait... this kid isn’t actually going to hand over, is he? She truly didn’t know if Ye Fan would betray her, so she was already preparing to escape.
But just then, Ye Fan suddenly lowered his hand.
This kid really is going to betray !
Just as she was about to bite Ye Fan’s finger, he shoved her down his pants!

The Seven-Colored Divine Fox was a being of imnse nobility, one who commanded respect even from Divine Dragons in the age of Divine Beasts. Yet now, she was being forced to hide in a man’s pants. She couldn’t accept this reality and promptly fainted from sheer rage.
Ye Fan turned back to the Hunters. "Brothers," he said, "look at my cultivation level. Does it seem like I’m soone who could possess an Immortal Beast?"
The Hunters imdiately stepped forward. They could indeed sense the aura of an Immortal Beast on him and even started ripping his clothes open. Ye Fan silently cursed their shalessness. Soday, he would teach these Hunters a harsh lesson. For now, however, it was best to lay low. Patience could open up a wider world, he reminded himself, even though he wasn’t the patient type.
"No, that’s impossible!" the Hunters muttered, still unconvinced.
Just as they were about to search his pants, Ye Fan said with exasperation, "Co on, brothers, must you embarrass like this?"
Ye Fan was speechless. If anyone else were to see this on such a dark night, a huge misunderstanding would be unavoidable. But the Hunters paid him no mind, their eyes gleaming with greed.
However, their search turned up a single, colorful strand of fox fur on Ye Fan’s clothes, which they picked up.
Instantly, the Hunters stopped their search. They understood. This colorful strand of fur was the source of the aura they had detected.
One of the Hunters imdiately questioned him, "Kid, where did you get this Immortal Beast fur?"
