'Don't pin this on . You started it.
I still can't forget how awfully you were acting, to think he fell for sothing like that.
Not to ntion you ruined my image before I could even build it.
I couldn't believe they called a sex fiend when the four of them surrounded because they were eyeing my wife!
'Hahaha-'
Riona laughed.
"Tsk!
Nux snorted.
'Anyways, did you find anything good?'
Riona questioned. She already knew the fate of those four n.
Sure, Nux was calr now, but cycing his wife in front of him? Riona didn't even have to think; that man's fate was sealed the mont he looked at her with those eyes.
What she wanted to know was if there was anything useful in their mories.
'Hmm, not much. Just learned a bit more about rcenaries. They were higher-level rcenaries than the Skeleton I killed before, so they knew a bit more!
'Im, that is alright, we don't need to know much anyway!
'Rig-'
*Bam*
Before Nux could reply, suddenly, a man stood up, his body trembling in fear as he stared at Nux. "Y-You... you are that..."
"Hmm? You know him?" Riona frowned as she glanced at the one-eyed man standing in front of her. "I don't."
Nux shook his head.
"It seems like he knows you!"
"I did sense soone looking at when I was out-oh, wait!
Suddenly, Nux recalled who the man was.
Ile was Vajra, the one-eyed demon with special eyes who was watching Nux when he was dealing with Skeleton and his little gang.
Previously, Nux had noticed him looking at him from afar; even now, Nux knew that soone was keeping an eye on him. However, this ti, he didn't bother checking who it was.
'So it was him.
A smile appeared on Nux's face.
"You really like to watch business you aren't involved in, don't you?"
Vajra's body trembled.
Once again, the fear that had subsided after all this ti ca out again.
More than five decades had passed since Nux was last seen in this place. Vajra just thought that he had left or was done in by soone stronger. He didn't even recognize him before because it had been so long and his attitude was so different.
However, seeing the man deal with those four n even more cruelly than he did with others, those buried mories ca out.
Once again, he was worried about his life. He was spared before, but now that he had repeated the sa mistake, he thought he would die. However,
"Well, I guess resisting the urge to watch free entertainnt isn't exactly an easy thing to do. So I don't bla you!
Suddenly, Nux shrugged.
"I do wish to know, though, how do you even keep an eye on ? I was pretty far back then. Does your eye have the power to see through walls?"
He questioned with a curious look on his face.
For cultivators, normal walls didn't an anything, but that only applied to a limited range. In Vajra's case, however, this range seed to be much longer than anyone else's.
Vajra was silent.
As much as he wanted to flaunt his powers, he was currently standing in front of a being who noticed him trying to watch and looked back at him.
How was he supposed to flex his senses in front of soone who was far superior to him in that regard?
"Hmm? Don't wish to answer?"
"Nux, why would anyone tell you about their power?" Riona questioned.
Then, she held her husband's arm and pulled him away. As the two sat on the chair, Riona placed her head on Nux's shoulder and closed her eyes.
Instantly, Nux's attention was diverted. He placed his hand over Riona's waist and pulled her close to him.
His Riona was finally with him.
That was all that mattered. So one-eyed dude didn't.
Vajra, who was completely ignored, didn't mind this one bit. He slowly walked out of the building. making sure not to attract the monster's attention, and once he was out, he ran away.
Ti passed. Twenty minutes later, Arshia ca to Nux with a few papers.
"Nux! I found these for you. In total, you need to do ten missions to be eligible for Special Missions.
I have chosen these twenty missions that should be easy to do for you. You can choose any ten of
them!"
The woman quickly passed the papers to Nux with a bright smile on her face.
"I am really thankful, Arshia.
"Of course! As I said, I am only doing my job."
"You are very good at it." Nux smiled.
Arshia's smile widened, "You should quickly select the missions, or do you need so days?"
"No, I'll choose the first ten."
Nux spoke as he returned the papers to Arshia.
"What...? You didn't even read anything, though..."
"Why would I?
I trust you, Arshia.
The instant he said those words, Arshia's face turned red.
"A-Alright, then I will register them in your na. You can co to as soon as you are done with
the missions."
She spoke as she quickly moved, stamping different papers left and right, writing sothing on a register, and handling so other formalities.
Riona, who saw her move, couldn't help but smile,
"So? What are these missions?"
"Nothing much. I need to go to so Lowest and Low Levels Worlds. Most of them require to retrieve so artifacts. In so, I need to collect so beasts' horns and stuff. They seem easy
enough."
Obviously, Nux didn't trust the woman one bit. He read through all the missions; it's just that he did it so quickly that Arshia couldn't perceive it.
Nux's brain was currently on an entirely different level. Let alone Arshia, even Riona wasn't able to
read anything by the ti Nux was done with everything. He didn't even need to look at the page; he could process everything from the bundle using his senses.
Yes, it ant that. Nux was capable of reading an entire book with a single look. He didn't even have
to flip the pages.
"You are so an, Nux.
You lie as easily as breathing!
Riona chuckled, pitying the poor woman who had just fallen in love.
"People get over their crushes soon enough, don't worry!
Nux shrugged.
As they talked, Arshia suddenly ca to them and,
"Here, these are the missions you selected. Please do them as soon as possible!"
"I will be back soon.
Nux smiled as he grabbed the papers.
"I will be waiting!" Arshia nodded, and Nux smiled again.
