"You don't have to worry about that,
I assure you that you haven't even seen half of what I am capable of.
After all,
You were probably never strong enough for it."
Those were so confident words.
After all, Nux had spent a million years inside the Illusion; he had interacted with Aeliana so many tis, almost anything was possible.
They were close, extrely close. It was to the point Nux knew everything there was to know about Aeliana.
Their bond inside the Illusion was special, so claiming that Nux hadn't even seen half of her true strength without actually knowing what transpired inside the illusion was bold, almost foolish even.
However, Nux, who was on the receiving end of Aeliana's attacks, could tell that the woman wasn't wrong.
Yes, Aeliana inside the illusion had shown him all her abilities, which made him think that he knew the extent of this woman's power.
He, however, was sorely mistaken.
He only saw those abilities....
He never experienced them. Even if he did, it was an extrely weakened version because Aeliana held back.
Now, however, things were different.
This was the first ti Nux actually stood against Aeliana, and only now did he understand how much he had underestimated this woman.
One look was all it took for the Vampire to find out his biggest weakness.
His out-of-sync body.
And from the start, all her attacks, despite not doing much damage, had been targeting that weakness.
The woman turned into invisible mist, forcing him to use his senses to find where she was. However, the ti took him to do all of this was enough for her to get close to him and attack.
Even if, a few tis, he did get lucky and blocked one of her attacks, her body instantly disappeared, and she attacked again, this ti even quicker than before. Every ti Nux tried to counterattack, his fists just t air and Aeliana had long moved away.
It was as if he was fighting a ghost.
A ghost who was pumling him without stopping.
Nux felt like a child being toyed with by an extrely powerful opponent.
It was as if everything he had learned so far, his battles with Vyriana where he trained without his limbs, fights where he let the Zenith Flow work at its full potential and let his body move on its own, countless abilities he had, and multiple laws he had mastered... Everything felt useless.
The opponent was simply too tricky.
None of his abilities worked because none of them could hit the target. Aeliana moved away before he could even activate his ability.
Usually, one would tackle a Vampire's ability to turn themselves into Mist by spreading their Mana all around them. The Mist, which doesn't have any physical form or strength, gets trapped inside the Mana barrier, essentially trapping the Vampire. However, when Nux tried that, he couldn't sense any mist around him at all.
It was just so instantaneous.
The mont he could sense the mist and tried to control the mana, he was attacked, and the mist moved away. It was simply too fast for him to be able to do anything.
Even if he teleported away, giving himself so ti to prepare, the sa thing repeated itself the mont Aeliana approached him.
He was utterly helpless.
BOOM
"Ugghhh!!"
Nux groaned as he was thrown to the ground again.
He wasn't in pain. He was already used to so much pain that little bruises didn't matter. He didn't even scream when his eye disintegrated, so collapsing on the ground was not a big deal.
What made him groan was the frustration.
Even after 5 minutes had passed, he had not been able to successfully land an attack on Aeliana even once.
What made it even worse was the fact that Nux knew the woman was holding back. Every ti she attacked him, she held back so he wouldn't be hurt. Otherwise, he
wouldn't have even lasted this long.
"Don't tell you are tired already."
Seeing that he wasn't moving, Acliana materialized herself next to him with a frown on
her face.
"How are you doing that?"
Nux questioned, his frustration visible on his face.
"Doing what?"
"Moving around like that. Your speed does not match any other Primordials I have seen before."
This statent only beca stronger since it ca from soone like Nux, who had seen a great number of Primordials in action.
"Did you forget? The Mist abilities increase a Vampire's speed."
Aeliana frowned.
"But that only doubles the speed. Yours is... much faster."
Nux, of course, knew that.
In their mist form, Vampires were one of the fastest beings in the entire Universe.
Of course, there were still hundreds of races faster than them. Not to ntion, unlike Vampires, these races don't lose their physical strength and other abilities in exchange for being that fast. However, the fact of the matter is...
The Vampires, in their mist form, were extrely fast.
But...
This woman...
She was just on an entirely different level!
"Well, I do use my Law to make myself a bit faster than others."
"A bit...?"
Nux raised his eyebrows.
"About a 100 tis faster than a normal Vampire."
Aeliana nodded with a shrug.
Nux was baffled.
He looked around, as if trying to find soone.
Where were his wives...?
Didn't they always call him a monster and give him a look every ti he ntioned
sothing absurd?
Then what about this woman!?
Does anyone not see how absurd what she said was!?
100 tis faster than a normal Vampire!? A race that is already one of the fastest!?
Doesn't that make her the fastest Primordial in the entire Universe and that too by an
absurdly large margin!?
How does she say that with a straight face?
No wait, before that, how is she even doing that?
Nux stared at the woman, and as if knowing what he wanted to ask, she answered,
"I use my Law to control my Mist form.
Since the Mist Form doesn't have any physical weight and doesn't face any resistance, I take control over it using my Law and move it as fast as I want.
So, in theory, my speed can be unlimited, but the more I increase my speed, the more
difficult it becos for to control myself and process everything around , so I
need to limit it to whatever I can control."
"So what you are saying is...
That you can be as fast as your thoughts allow you to be...?"
"Yes."
Aeliana nodded again.
