They can even create sothing called an Anti-Force Field, a zone of altered gravity to deflect projectiles or hinder movent.

Amaya spoke confidently, and Nux nodded with a bright smile on his face.
"Of course,"
Without waiting any further, he devoured the Skyrend and absorbed everything the being had to offer.
"The next one is quite interesting as well," Amaya muttered.
Another plant-like creature was revealed.
"A Verdalian.
They have the power to embed seeds in allies or enemies. The allies are strengthened and healed continuously, while enemies are restricted or drained of energy.
A perfect support that can use both buffs and curses, and again, the strength of these buffs and curses depends on the amount of energy used."
The instant Nux heard those words, his smile widened.
He now understood.
These won weren't looking for bloodlines with stronger abilities, they were looking for bloodlines that would suit him the best because of his massive energy reserves.
"That works!
Nux smiled.
He knew he could leave things to his wives.
And as if proving his point even further, Amaya continued,
"The next one can create short-lived rifts to move instantaneously between two points."
The instant Nux heard those words, he glanced at Amaya, and the devourer smiled.
"Yes, his abilities are related to Space.

"Another Law that belongs to one of the Primordial Energies."
Nux's smile widened. Soon, however, he was slightly disappointed.

The Law was too weak.
Nux, however, didn't complain and devoured the Law,
Amaya continued, revealing another creature,
"He is a Prismorn.
He can manipulate emotions, amplifying fear, courage, or joy. He can even use emotional energy to power spells or physical strength."
"Ability to manipulate one's emotions?"
"I know you can do that using your illusions, but this is a much more direct thod." Felberta answered, and Nux nodded in understanding. Soon, a playful smile appeared on his face as he stared at his wives.
"This seems useful indeed."
The won smiled, knowing exactly what Nux was thinking about.
"Anyways, the next is this Umbroknight.
Their power is sowhat special. They can connect with objects in Outer Space" "What?"
Nux blinked in surprise.
"Mhm, they have an ability nad Astral Bond that allows them to call upon specific stars with unique powers.
They can summon teors, heal with starlight, or even enhance their speed and strength using their connection with a specific star"
"That..."
"I thought it might be useful, especially for you."
Amaya spoke, her eyes staring at Nux, and he understood what she was trying to say.
An ability to connect with objects in Outer Space...
As a Universe himself, who knew what this ability could beco in Nux's hands.
Of course, there were chances that it could be one of the many abilities Nux had and didn't use much, but in the end, it was still worth a try.
Without waiting any more ti, Nux devoured the Umbroknight.
For now, Nux decided not to waste ti understanding everything he had gained and continued further. There were still three more beings he needed to devour before Lyriana ca here.
That was the priority. As for whether his strength increased or not, Nux would figure that out when he trained with Aeliana later.

Felberta comnted, her eyes glimring as she waited for Amaya to reveal the ninth

Amaya nodded back, and with a wave of her hand, the devouring mist disappeared, revealing another being with a semi-transparent body with swirling texts or symbols constantly shifting within him.
Nux raised his eyebrow when he saw how the being looked, and Felberta continued,
"Aetherialis.
By touching an object, person, or book, they can absorb its knowledge and temporarily gain skills or abilities tied to it. The amount of knowledge they absorb depends on how strong their minds are."
Nux stared at the Aetherialis, surprised.
"It is almost as if these beings are created to be devoured by ."
He couldn't help but comnt.
"Indeed."
Felberta chuckled.
"They are much more intelligent than people around them since their strength depends on their intelligence, but despite that, they are severely limited.
After all, there is only so much knowledge one can absorb at one point. If they try to
go beyond that, their minds are overloaded. It often leads to so part of their mories being washed away, or sotis, depending on the severity of the
situation, a complete ntal wipeout.
This is also the reason why, despite sounding quite useful, not many higher-level worlds were attracted to this race."
Felberta then sighed dramatically and eyed Nux.
"If only there was a being who could absorb as much knowledge as he wanted without
any issues, how amazing would it be if such a being had their power, no?"
Nux chuckled when he heard her words. Without waiting, he devoured the Aetherialis
as well. This one ca from a low-level world, so again, his bloodline was pure.
Yes, with this, Nux got another strong bloodline that now belonged to a high-level
"Now this is the tenth one."
Amaya continued, revealing a crystalline being with sharp edges.
"This one's a Shardkin.
When critically damaged, he shatters into smaller shards, which can combine
together, and when they do, his physical strength rises by a factor of two.
If you get this ability..."
Nux didn't need to think anymore and devoured the Shardkin.
"So, one more left, right?"
He questioned, and the won nodded.
"This is the one I caught at the end.
A Harmonic.
He can release spores that influence plant growth. These 'plants' create hallucinogenic
clouds that confuse the enemies. These plants can also bind and even 'eat' the weaker enemies, and again, the more energy used, the stronger these plants. So..."
Nux nodded in understanding as he devoured the last 'victim.' And now, it was ti to rebuild the Elven Queen's foundation from scratch.
