"Stick together! Cover each other's backs! She can co for you at any mont! Be on alert!
Do not underestimate the enemy! She is fast, and she is strong! If you are not careful, this can be the end of us!"
A bunch of instructions was given. The Primordials' response was surprisingly swift. After the leader, who was taken by surprise, had lost his arm, and during the initial surge where all the Primordials jumped at Acliana without any formation whatsoever, the Primordials quickly collected themselves and grouped up.
They created four groups, each with four Primordials in it.
These groups were well-balanced; each had enough strength to be a complete party on their own. Their coordination wasn't sothing to scoff at either. The groups they had ford in urgency had almost perfect synergy with each other.
Clearly, this wasn't their first ti battling together, and this synergy wasn't just intragroup-it was intergroup as well. All these four groups had impeccable coordination with each other and moved as if they were controlled by one mind. Just one look was enough for Aeliana to understand that these Primordials far outclassed the Primordials of Yrniel, who were drunk on their strength and barely worked together.
'So this is a middle-level world, huh...'
Aeliana thought inwardly. She was impressed, yes, but...
'I thought they would be stronger!
She was still hoping for better.
Her eyes fell on the leader of these Primordials, who had healed himself and stood alone. Yes, the leader wasn't in any group; however, the four groups had covered him from all directions, making sure there were no openings.
The leader stared at Aeliana, then,
"You brought this upon yourself, woman.
Bla your arrogance."
He took out a sword. A sword with so foreign dark energy surrounding it and a pitch-black blade.
'Be careful.'
Suddenly, Aeliana heard Nux's voice.
'Huh?'
She frowned.
However, before she could think too much, the four groups, with the leader in the center, rushed at her. One of the groups, faster than the others, launched forward, and the lee attacker of that group attacked her.
Aeliana blocked the attack, but before she could counterattack, she noticed the tank of the group rushing at her, prepared to slam his body and push her back, where the assassin, who had turned invisible, had hidden.
It was a well-planned attack, so to thwart all the planning, Acliana simply turned into red mist and appeared behind the fourth mber of the group, the damage dealer.
However, as if predicting that, the tank and lee fighter of another group appeared next to her, and Aeliana had no choice but to move away again. Her eyes caught another group that had now rushed at her.
This was the coordination she was impressed by. This group was stronger than average. Of course, as impressed as she was, her mind, however, was still thinking about Nux's words.
Sure, these people were well-coordinated, but was it truly enough for Nux to be worried about her?
"That sword. That's a Relic!
Nux, knowing what she was thinking, inford her in a solemn tone.
'I didn't think I would see one here.
To think a Primordial from a middle-level world would have it. He must co from an influential background!
Nux theorized. Aeliana, however, was lost.
"What is a Relic?"
The Vampire questioned while dodging another group attack. With her speed, dodging their attacks was no different than a child's play. She wasn't even using her Law right
now.
'Ancient weapons with strength that far surpasses any normal weapons. Just having one of these weapons raises a being's strength to a different tier. Two beings with equal strength would be completely outmatched if one of them has a Relic.
These weapons co from the Supre World of Eternity. Because of this, they are extrely limited. Even high-level worlds only have a few hundred of these. Most middle-level worlds have less than ten, and all of these are mostly kept by the Transcendent-level experts who rule that world!
Nux inford, and Aeliana raised her eyebrow, eyeing the leader's sword.
'Do not get hit by that sword!
Nux warned.
'Even if that is the weakest of all Relics I have seen, that sword has the power to hurt even a Transcendent. If you get injured, the Relic's energy would enter your body, making it difficult for you to recover. Even the Elven Progenitors won't be able to help you since they are not complete Transcendents.
'I understand.'
Aeliana nodded.
'I will send others away, get their attention.'
Nux spoke, his voice solemn, leaving no room for denial.
Aeliana nodded again, then decided to go on the offensive.
Her body turned into blood mist, targeting the Primordial standing at the very corner. Two more Primordials from his group appeared to help her, but suddenly, the blood on the battlefield rose into the air, forming two giant spears and piercing through the Primordials' bodies, ending their lives.
The last Primordial, who was left alone, widened his eyes in horror. He tried to attack her. Aeliana, however, was too fast for him to even react to her movents. She
grabbed the man's neck, and with one snap...
Another Primordial fell.
In an instant, the Primordials' faces changed.
"S-She can control blood!!"
One of them shouted.
"Well, of course,"
Aeliana chuckled.
"I am a Vampire.
Who do you think taught my disciple?"
The woman then glanced at the last Primordial of the group, who had already beco
part of another group currently rushing at her.
"The rcenaries are running away!"
One of the Primordials shouted as he rushed towards Nux's wives. He, however, had
overestimated himself.
"Did you think you could outrun ?"
Aeliana chuckled as she appeared right in front of that man, prepared to slice his head,
but then-
"NOW!"
A shout was heard, and suddenly, the two groups floating right above Aeliana, as if they had already predicted her movents, activated the Chains of Soul.
An artifact Aeliana knew about.
The chains that worked even on Primordials, the chains that would work even on her
as well, especially when eight Primordials were using them at the sa ti.
What's worse?
Aeliana couldn't move away because behind her stood lia, who wouldn't be able to
enter the Portal in ti before the Primordial enemy reached her.
Aeliana was trapped. It was a choice between her life and lia's.
Or at least, that is what the enemy leader thought. But then-
Swoosh
A strange energy spread all over the place and suddenly,
The ti around the area slowed down.
Aeliana moved, because the ti itself had slowed down, she had beco slower as
well, her speed however, still far outclassed her enemies by a margin. The enemy Primordial stood no chance and was beheaded. Then she stared at the Chains of Soul that were moving toward her at a torturously slow pace and sighed. "Tsk, I wanted to see what they were going to do."
In the end, while everyone around her was pretty much frozen, the Vampire turned into mist, moving all around the battlefield, pushing all the won inside [Core], and
then-
Whoosh
Ti returned to normal.
"Huh? Where did she go!?"
The enemy leader blinked a few tis as he looked around, unable to find Aeliana or
those rcenaries, but then, he heard a voice from behind.
"You could have lived longer if you hadn't targeted those won."
