"Don't be foolish, Velythari.
If your re Aura could have stopped , this never would have happened in the first place."
Nux slapped the Velythari's Aura away.
"This is the end.
Accept it."
Nux declared.
His golden eyes looked down upon the beings who knelt in front of him, the Transcendents, who sensed his gaze, trembled.
Everyone except one.
"It will be the end when I fall to my end."
Zyreth answered, and suddenly,
The sky trembled, and the very fabric of existence shuddered.
'I thought I would be able to intimidate him, but I guess he isn't a Transcendent and a World Leader for nothing.
Nux, who sensed what was about to happen, sighed weakly as he closed his eyes, giving in to his fate.
Nux was no longer a child who would barge into enemy territory without having any prior knowledge.
He had done his research before he ca here. He found out everything there was to know about Zendel-the different races residing in it, its people, the strongest beings who stood as its pillars, its environnt, the energy it used, the Primordials, the Transcendents-he found out every single thing.
Before coming here, this man had learned everything there was to learn about every single Primordial and Transcendent there was on Zendel-their Laws, their abilities, their race, the level of their bloodlines, their strengths, their weaknesses, their allies, their enemies.
He learned everything.
And after his thorough research, one of the few beings who constantly worried him was the Velythari Leander, Zyreth Ulmora.
Not only were his racial abilities quite strong, but what stood out the most was his Law.
The Law of Resurgence.
A Law that governs the cycle of dissolution and rebirth, not in a way tied to re life and death, but as an eternal transformation of 'form' and 'state'
The Law of Resurgence pretty much turns Zyreth into an immortal. Using this Law, it beca impossible to truly destroy Zyreth because, using his Law, Zyreth could never be destroyed-only restructured, remade, or redefined.
Every ti he died, his very existence was rewritten, reassembling into sothing
new.
And this wasn't just true for Zyreth himself. He could use his Law on anyone or anything around him-a weapon, a soul, or even a Law itself. Anything that was disintegrated could be returned in a different form.
And the Law wasn't just used to bring back!
It also allowed Zyreth to dismantle anything-concepts, weapons, structures, or even... beings.
And force them to reconstruct in a way that suited his design. A being who was once an enemy could be turned into his most trusted subordinate, and this was just the start of it.
Zyreth had the power to recall entire civilizations in a way he wanted them to be. Honestly, it was an absurd Law with so many possibilities that when Nux learned about it, the first thing that ca to his mind was trying to find a way to get his hands on this Law.
For now, however, this wasn't what worried him.
What worried him was the fact that Zyreth was a Transcendent.
His Law was already absurdly powerful, but...
Transcendents had sothing that made them so different from others around them, sothing that made them absolute.
A Domain.
A Transcendent is called as such because beings at this level have transcended the boundaries of understanding of their Law and have pushed themselves to Absolute Perfection.
Yes, 'Absolute' Perfection.
A Transcendent Being, because of his Absolute understanding of his Law, could create
a Domain where his Law was Absolute.
Yes, even a normal Law such as... the Law of Resurgence... inside Zyreth's domain, turns into the Law of Absolute Resurgence.
A field where his already absurd powers would beco Absolute.
What's worse?
Nux couldn't stop him.
A Domain can be set up in an instant. No one could stop its formation because of how
quickly it forms-not even Nux.
He could only watch as the reality he knew collapsed.
The sky was no longer a sky.
It was a shifting storm of mories and futures, remnants of what once was and what would be. Fragnts of battles fought in the past clashed with wars yet to co.
Beings who were wiped from history started taking form again.
The ground beneath changed as well, turning into a constantly reconstructing surface. Every step seed to shatter it, and every next one reassembled into
sothing new.
Nothing remained the sa for more than a few monts.
Everything in this Domain was bound by a single Law.
The Law of Absolute Resurgence.
Nothing ended. Nothing remained the sa.
Yes, in this Domain, Zyreth, even though he was still on the ground, kneeling, had
turned into the Absolute.
His powers had turned into the Absolute.
And yes, in this situation, if he decided to 'dismantle' Nux and 'reconstruct' him into
his loyal subordinate,
It would work.
Nux might have had a way to resist it before, but in here, when everything this being
did was Absolute, he was helpless.
And Nux, who knew that, sighed again.
"Tsk, I wanted a grander exit, you know?"
He muttered.
Zyreth frowned at those words.
"Oh well, not everything goes according to your plans."
Nux shrugged as he tried to teleport out of Zyreth's Domain.
Keyword being tried, because before he could do it, the Velythari changed the very 'concept' of Teleportation, bringing Nux right in front of him instead.
Seeing that his power was working on this monster, the expressions of the rest of the
And Nux, who noticed that, sighed.
"This is getting more and more troubleso."
He muttered out loud.
Zyreth wasn't the only problematic being here; there were a few others, and if they all
decided to join their hands together, it would beco even more problematic.
Not wanting to deal with all that hassle,
Nux decided to self-destruct.
But,
Nothing happened.
He glanced at the Velythari, and the being smiled.
"You should have already expected it."
Yes, he dismantled the concept of Self-Destruction.
"Well, you are right.
I did expect this."
Nux nodded as he gave in.
Seeing his reaction, Zyreth smiled, regaining so of his confidence.
"It didn't matter if you did.
You cannot get out of this situation.
You are exceptionally strong, I admit.
But you were never strong enough to deal with on your own."
Zyreth declared.
But at his words, Nux's grin just widened.
"Who said I was the one who was going to take care of you?"
"Huh...?"
"I've brought help."
Saying those words, Nux pointed up, and the mont Zyreth glanced in the direction
he was pointed at,
His eyes widened in horror,
