Once again, inside that stupidly large room, four entities gathered on each side of the comically large table.
"It happened again."
The entity that stood in the middle of stillness and cruelty spoke in a monotonous tone.
"It was much bolder this ti."
The entity of malice added. Its tone sounded quite… satisfied? It was as if it was impressed by the Entity.
The other three entities ignored it. The calming entity stared at the incomprehensible entity and questioned,
"Did you find anything?"
"I did not."
The incomprehensible entity answered calmly. There seed to be no fluctuations in its tone despite giving a negative answer.
The calming entity flickered. It didn't seem to like the answer, and it wasn't alone.
"How co?"
The entity of balance questioned, its tone full of doubt and confusion.
"It was a movent on such a big scale. There is no way that Anomaly didn't leave any clue behind. Did you try investigating the worlds that were destroyed? That Anomaly might be trying to target them for a reason."
"Yes, there was a reason."
The incomprehensible entity answered.
The other three entities waited for it to continue, and suddenly,
The table in the middle of the four entities turned black.
To normal people, it would be nothing different than a pitch-black screen. The four entities, however, were far from normal.
They could see it.
Billions of small dots that seed invisible to the naked eye.
The black screen was the Universe,
The complete Universe.
Yes, the Universe was still expanding, and the surprising thing was that its expansion was being shown in real ti on the screen.
Yes, it was a depiction of the real Universe, in real ti.
The four entities had access to the entire thing, even the smallest corner of this vast Universe.
Of course, none of the four seed surprised by it. The incomprehensible entity didn't expect any reaction to it either.
Rather, the three entities waited, waiting for the incomprehensible entity to continue.
Suddenly, the black screen zood in, highlighting a certain area of the Universe that showed millions of worlds.
It was similar to what Nux showed his wives, but compared to that, it was much more… real.
Then suddenly, more than 300 'dots' that were now sowhat visible to the naked eye started shining, and a pattern was ford.
"A… smirk?"
The entity of balance spoke in a confused tone.
"The reason."
The incomprehensible entity answered, and the other three understood what it ant.
"A ssage."
The entity of stillness muttered.
"Heh, it is laughing at the Universe."
The entity of malice sounded like it was grinning widely.
"Or…
It is laughing at us."
The entity of balance spoke, its tone grim.
"It should know that the Universe is rely a Will. It would never be able to interpret this ssage.
The only ones who would actually understand, or care to understand, are…"
"Us."
The incomprehensible entity completed those words, and in an instant, the giant room turned silent.
Even the entity of malice, who seed to be grinning without stop and impressed by the Anomaly, had turned silent.
Every entity in this room, no matter, the entity filled with endless malice, or the entity filled with endless kindness,
They had one thing in common.
Arrogance.
Extre arrogance.
Arrogance born from staying at the top from the beginning of ti itself.
While every single one of them would entertain sothing amusing, sothing that would make them… feel sothing,
None of them liked to be challenged,
None of them… liked to be laughed at.
"What are you doing?"
The entity of malice questioned directly, its question directed at the incomprehensible entity.
"Why haven't you found out who this bug is?"
"And how am I—"
"366 worlds have been destroyed, and you are telling not a single one of them has a connection to the Anomaly?
Look into what these 366 worlds were involved in, their politics, their allies, their enemies, the factions they belonged to.
Look into everything separately.
That smirk is clearly a way to hide sothing.
Look into what I said, and you will find the Anomaly."
The entity of malice gave out a way.
Yes, it was a lot of work.
Looking into more than 300 destroyed worlds separately was a ti-consuming task… for others, that is.
For the incomprehensible, it was sothing that could be done within a matter of minutes. Yes, these worlds are devoured by the very Universe, so they couldn't revive anyone to know what happened, but investigating worlds around the destroyed worlds and rewriting their complete history through that wasn't difficult.
But…
"We do not know what we are looking for."
The incomprehensible entity answered with a frown.
Silence fell over the room, and it continued,
"We have no lead on the Anomaly. We do not know what it looks like or what it even is.
It could be another Will or a living being. We cannot disregard anything.
The only connection we have with the Anomaly is that Crimson Mist man, but…"
"We do not know if that man even exists."
The entity of balance understood the problem.
"That is correct."
The incomprehensible entity answered.
"That man could be a ruse created by the Anomaly to divert our attention,
An illusion,
Or the Anomaly itself.
It can even be a faceless entity that showed itself to confuse us.
Or…
It can be a man who presented himself as he was, without any fear."
Once again, the room turned silent.
"The history of all the destroyed worlds showed their own conflicts. They had nothing in common, nothing we could use.
It was all completely random.
Every world had its own story, own secrets, own… possible anomalies, but…
There is nothing concrete."
The incomprehensible entity spoke. It had already done what the entity of malice had suggested, but it couldn't find anything.
"Then…"
The entity of malice spoke up after a montary silence.
It then highlighted all the worlds shown on the screen below and,
"Let's destroy the entire area."
It suggested.
