Nux chuckled, and Zala just stared at him in utter awe.
Once again, Nux used his ability to amplify the feeling of awe he felt to an absurd degree. It was almost pushed to the degree of fanaticism.
Yes, he couldn't manipulate their mories, but emotions? He could do whatever he wanted with those.
"Anyways, are you prepared to reform your Law?"
"I-I am."
Zala nodded.
Nux nodded back as he then placed his hand over Zala's head. A few patterns appeared all over Nux's body as he read Zala's mories using his ability. Zala didn't resist; he just stared at the being in front of him with absolute awe.
Once he was done, Nux devoured his cultivation, turning him from a Primordial to a mortal. Then, he raised his cultivation to the Saint Stage and,
"Reform your Law."
He ordered, already knowing what Law Zala was going to form.
It wasn't very different from the Law he had before; it was just a stronger version, and Nux preferred it that way.
After all, the reason he 'chose' him was because of his Law.
Law of Eternal Mark
A law that allowed him to place a barely noticeable and ever-present mark on any person or object.
Yes, it was a simple marking ability, nothing that would usually catch soone's eye, but for soone like Nux, it was different.
If he had this power, he could easily track beings from anywhere he wanted, and with his Space Laws, appear right next to them no matter where they were.
Yes, he had Aeliana's way to mark and track a being as well, but…
A perceptive being could sense his energy if he used Aeliana's thod. A being with a higher quality of energy could even remove that energy.
It was nothing more than a party trick that was easy to counter if the person knew they were marked.
But with the Law of Eternal Mark, it was different.
Even if the target knew they were marked, which in itself was difficult since the mark was barely noticeable, it was extrely difficult to get rid of it.

And that wasn't it. Since Nux had added so of his own comprehension to the Law as well, he had also added another power to teleport next to the marked entity.
Of course, since Zala hadn't comprehended the Space Law, the energy he would need to use would be absurd,
But it was still a strong ability.

Zala couldn't believe it.

All the doubts he had about all of this being a lie disappeared in an instant. He collapsed on his knees and,
"Lord Ruler, I swear to always remain loyal to you."
He swore his loyalty, overwheld by the excessive emotions he was feeling.
"Continue cultivating, understand your new Law, and breakthrough. I will not be aiding you anymore."
"I understand! I am greatly honored by your help!"
Zala nodded, and then, with a wave of Nux's hand, he was teleported away to a Star where he could break through to the Primordial Stage.
Once Zala was gone, Felberta and the others appeared next to Nux, and unable to hold herself back, Vyriana questioned,
"How strong?"
"Level 174."
"Just one?"
The Dragon frowned.
"Well, this is just the beginning."
Nux smiled as his eyes fell on Shadow, who was talking to yet another 'black soul.'
"The Ruler will rise to the top again, and in his journey, he will need new entities to watch over the Universe.
You are chosen as one of the contenders.
Are you willing…"
"She seems to be having fun."
Felberta chuckled.
"She's a natural."
Nux laughed as well.
"I didn't think Shadow, of all people, would be good at fooling people."
Felberta stared as she then turned towards Lane and,
"I wonder where she got it from."
"The two of us are independent entities."
Lane quickly defended herself, wanting to have nothing to do with shaless Shadow.
"Right…"
Felberta, however, just nodded with a light smile on her face, not believing her sister at all.
Ti passed. One by one, Shadow continued to fool the 'chosen black souls' and sent them Nux's way. Nux helped them reform their Law and turned them all into Divines.
And as the Universe, as he did sothing he was supposed to do and accepted their Laws, he continued to get stronger and stronger.
And after advancing the last of the 18 entities,

His aura burst out and,
"Level 178."
He comnted.

And silence fell over.
It was still too slow.
"It's okay, we just need to devour 20 more."
Vyriana nodded.
"Let's take 30 to be on the safe side."
Felberta nodded.
Nux, on the other hand, just shrugged.
For now, his attention was on soone else.
"Ember is back with a mission."
