"Father."
"Hmm?"
"Have you heard about the Seer?"
Aeliana questioned, and Azriel's expression changed.
"Where did you hear that na?"
Aeliana simply stared at Nux, who shook his head without any change in his expression.
He would not do it.
He didn't know what the Seer wanted from his father-in-law, but for Aeliana's sake, he believed it was better that the two did not et, even if it ant them having to go against the Seer and the Supre World.
Aeliana, however, had a different line of thought.
"Nux t her."
She revealed, and in an instant, Azriel's expression changed as he turned towards Nux.
"You… t the Seer?"
"I…"
Nux didn't know what to say.
"Nux, let my father decide what he wants. We do not make his decisions."
Aeliana then looked at Azriel, and a small, almost untraceable pout appeared on her face.
"Usually, he is the one who does that."
Clearly, the Vampire didn't like how her ti with her husband was interrupted just because her father was not prepared for it.
Azriel, who knew what his daughter was thinking about, wanted to co up with a counter. He, however, had nothing to say.
Yes, he ca here because he wasn't ntally ready to see his daughter grow, even if she was a being with absolute power. But for the father in him, she was still an innocent little girl who should only stay in his arms. And yes, Azriel was ashad of his actions.
Therefore, he decided to change the topic, and conveniently, there was a perfect topic right in front of him.
"What does that an? You brat, what are you not telling ?"
He narrowed his eyes as he stared at the man who wanted to steal his daughter from him.
Nux thought about it for a mont before he finally gave in.
Aeliana was right.
The being in front of him was the strongest being in all existence. Even soone like the Seer treaded carefully around him. He would know what is best for him and what is not.
"The Seer wishes to et you."
"What…?"
Azriel raised his eyebrow. Nux nodded again, and Aeliana did the sa.
"Are you sure she is the Seer? You aren't being fooled, are you?"
"I do not know."
Nux shook his head.
"Hah?"
Azriel frowned. Clearly, the old man was judging his son-in-law, sothing Nux didn't fail to notice.
"Even the existence of the Seer itself is sotis considered a myth.
How am I supposed to know if she is real?"
Nux tried to defend himself, but—
"From the fact that she neutralized a Transcendent like it was nothing, snuck into a High-Level World without alerting anyone, and last but most importantly, she knew that you were a Universe."
Aeliana didn't hold back.
"W-Well… those things could still be faked… can't they…?"
Nux's voice died down on its own by the end of his sentence, realizing how foolish it was.
'What in the hell is happening to ?'
He shook his head. Ever since he t the Seer, he had been thinking about too many absurd possibilities and was losing sight of what was more important.
It was as if sothing had gotten into his head and it was slowing down.
"You need to calm down, Nux."
Aeliana spoke as she tightly held Nux's hand. Nux looked into his wife's eyes and nodded. The two smiled at each other, losing themselves in each other's eyes.
But…
Azriel, who heard Aeliana's words, couldn't believe them.
"What did you say? She knew he was a Universe?"
He questioned, attracting the couple's attention.
"She did."
Nux nodded with a solemn look on his face.
"She told you that?"
"She also told the Supre World requested her to find ."
"And you still thought she is not the real Seer?"
"I…"
Nux had no way to defend himself.
"Why did she co to you?"
Azriel questioned.
"I tried luring her out when I sensed her, bu-"
"You sensed her? The Seer?"
Azriel raised his eyebrow.
"I did. After I comprehended the Law of Absolute Space."
"Absolute Space…?"
"Uhhh…
You are completely out of the loop, huh?
Alright, I'll start from the beginning."
Since Nux couldn't exactly have a conversation with Azriel since they were running out of ti, using Felberta's Power of Genesis and his own Power over mories, he created a white orb and gave it to Azriel.
The orb contained everything that happened after he went to sleep. The Vampire Progenitor absorbed the orb within a second, and the next mont, he narrowed his eyes.
"What gives a weakling like you the right to worry about ?"
"I was worried about my Aeliana, not you."
"She is my Aeliana."
"You gave her to , old man. Is your mind getting hazy with age? Do you need another mory orb? I have more than a few copies of those."
Azriel's mouth twitched.
In the end, he decided it was better not to talk about it right now and jumped to the main topic.
"I wish to et her."
"Are you sur-"
"Oh, co on. Why do I feel like you have beco even more unbearably arrogant than the last ti I saw you? Just when I was starting to like you too."
Azriel snorted.
"I-"
Nux tried to defend himself. His father-in-law, however, was here to set him straight.
"I saw your mories. I saw every possibility you considered, so don't try talking back to ."
"…"
Nux turned silent.
"After Umbrasol, your mind had developed and had reached a level others around you can never hope to reach.
You thought through things much more efficiently than others. You even saw possibilities others failed to consider, and you did all that at a scarily fast pace.
Because of that, you matured, your thoughts matured, and with the knowledge you absorbed, you did, you beca better.
But now…
That enhanced brain of yours has beco a weakness."
Nux narrowed his eyes at those words.
