"You look tired~"
Nux chuckled as he tightened his hug around the Vampire lying on his bed next to him, naked.
"Mmmhm~"
Aeliana didn't answer; she was still sleepy.
She didn't know how long she had slept for; she just knew she was exhausted. Even though her regeneration had already healed her exhaustion, she was still exhausted.
And of course, feeling Nux's strong chest touching her bare back, making her feel a comfort she had never experienced before, didn't help with the exhaustion either.
It was as if Nux was pulling her deep into a sea of comfort and laziness.
For the next few minutes, she wanted to not think about anything else and just lie down, just like this.
Which wouldn't have been a problem; after all, everyone deserved a few minutes of rest.
But…
The Vampire had been feeling this way for a few hours now.
Her mind just couldn't get enough of this, and she wanted more.
A few more minutes, then more minutes, and then more…
She wanted Nux and this mont all to herself.
"How are you so tired? You have slept for three days, you know?"
Nux chuckled as he rubbed his body against hers. He was so close to her that he could practically feel her heart beating rhythmically, sothing that cald him.
"I am like this because you cheated."
Aeliana answered, and at those words, Nux chuckled.
"You still haven't given up on that, huh?"
"You cheated."
She repeated again.
"Yes, yes, I cheated."
Nux admitted as he coiled around her body. His hand grabbed her unbelievably soft breasts and pulled her close to him. His legs wrapped themselves around hers, while his little brother very clearly settled right between her thighs in a position that couldn't be more comfortable.
It was almost as if they had beco one. Nux didn't even allow air to pass through them, and Aeliana had no complaints whatsoever.
"Try defeating next ti~"
Nux smiled.
"Who is to say that you won't cheat again?"
Aeliana questioned as she snuggled her body close to him. It honestly wasn't even possible to get any closer; no one knew what the Vampire was trying to do.
The heat coming from Nux's body just felt too comforting.
At her question, Nux brought his mouth dangerously close to her ear, and like a demon seducing soone to do what he wanted, he whispered into her ear,
"Then you can try again, can't you?"
Aeliana's body trembled at those words. Nux just tightened his hug around her and,
"We have all eternity together~
If you try again,
And again,
And again,
And then again,
One day, you are bound to know all my tricks, no?
Then I won't be able to cheat."
"T-That sounds good…"
Aeliana answered, already creating scenarios in her head that she didn't want anyone to know about.
Her face flushed. Nux smiled at that as he kissed her neck, making her body tremble. What made it even worse was that Nux was wrapped around her entire body like a snake; she couldn't even tremble freely.
In the end, Aeliana just closed her eyes. The comfort was too much for her; she couldn't stay awake. Nux continued to kiss her lightly, putting her to sleep.
He felt her rhythmic heartbeat, and once he was sure she was asleep, his body turned into Mist and flew out of the bed without waking her up.
Or at least… that is what he thought, but the mont Aeliana's 'comfort' was gone,
"Where are you going?"
She opened her eyes and questioned.
The Mist turned back into Nux again.
"You are awake?"
"I have slept enough."
Aeliana replied as she then sat up. The blanket that covered her dropped down, revealing her flawless body.
But suddenly, the Vampire frowned as she sensed sothing.
She then turned towards Nux and narrowed her eyes,
"You wanted to sleep."
"I…"
Nux didn't know what to say.
"Take with you."
Aeliana ordered, and in the end, Nux just nodded.
He extended his hand, Aeliana slowly grabbed it as a new set of clothes covered her body. Nux wore a new set as well, and then, they teleported out of Core and returned to Yrniel, right in front of Azriel.
"Took you long enough."
Azriel, who was sitting on top of a Sky Kingdom's castle, invisible to the rest, stared at the two of them hovering in the air, knowing very well that they could see him.
"Father…"
Aeliana called out in worry, seeing her father's state.
"What is it?"
Nux, on the other hand, questioned directly.
Azriel had sealed his surroundings, not allowing him or anyone else to watch what had happened, but Nux didn't need to see it in order to know what had happened.
He had t the Seer before; he knew what state she left one in.
Azriel was no different.
And considering how he had been waiting for them for a month now, Nux could tell sothing was going on.
Yes, a month had passed since Azriel had t the Seer and…
He still hadn't returned to his sleep.
He was awake, Yrniel was experiencing its second Mana Apocalypse, the Progenitors were all worried, and Nux, who was with Aeliana inside the Core, could sense it.
This was also the reason Aeliana decided to co here.
She knew her father was awake, but…
She didn't know why.
She just knew that sothing was going on with her father, and she wanted to be with him at this mont.
"Sit."
Azriel ordered.
Nux paused. He looked around; they were literally on top of the castle. No, not on the roof, on top of the Do.
"Does it hav-"
"Sit."
Azriel repeated, and Nux did as he was told. Aeliana followed.
"Do you know what this castle is called?"
Azriel questioned.
"Sky Castle."
Nux answered.
This place belonged to his wife's uncle; of course, he knew about it.
"How do you think it got this na?"
"From the Sky Family that rules it?"
Nux guessed.
After all, the Vampire Royal Family had the sa last na, it wouldn't be surprising if they nad this castle on their na. Royal Families usually did things like that.
Azriel, however, smiled at those words. His palm then touched the castle do he was sitting on, and his smile beca a lot gentler.
"It was given this na to respect a woman nad Ithania Sky."
"Ithania…"
"My wife."
