The Elven Queen was so confused that in the end, she decided to directly ask the man himself and the answer she got was sothing she couldn't forget,
"I love her."
What a foolish answer.
Lyriana wanted to laugh out loud but…
Seeing that look in that man's eyes when he talked about his wife…
Lyriana couldn't laugh.
That look… she never saw sothing like that in her life.
And it made her feel strange, after all, the boy in front of her was barely a few hundred years old, how could… he have a look on his face that she couldn't understand?
Even if one calls him a naïve little body who let his hormones get the better of him… this… still didn't make sense.
Sothing was wrong.
And it wasn't just him, those wives of his were the sa.
Every single one of them had the sa look in their eyes, it was absurd, it was… intriguing. Curious and wanting to understand that look, Lyriana started following the boy more than he had to. Yes, there were tis when she saw things she didn't wish to see, things that should have been kept private, but she didn't stop. And it was a mistake.
Her body, which had long stopped feeling any form of desire, finally felt… sothing.
She didn't sense it, she was too busy trying to understand that look, but her body started changing.
Fortunately, the Boy didn't stay for long.
He won the war everyone thought he would lose and he freed her and her people, leaving them alone, he even expressed his gratitude and apologized for doing what he did. Because of the Elven Kingdom's relationship with him, theElven Kingdom beca even stronger, surpassing even the Blood Kingdom in so regards.
But the Boy had disappeared, disappeared into a grander world.
Lyriana was left alone and honestly, it would have been better for the elf if this continued, but...
A few centuries later, the boy reappeared and kidnapped her.
He showed her a world she had never seen before, things she couldn't even comprehend, power levels that simply felt like a fantasy and in an instant, the strength craving Lyriana was captivated.
She decided to abandon everything and co with the boy, who now seed to have turned into quite a fine man, much more powerful than her or any other being she knew.
A man who seed… quite attractive.
But again, her mind never understood how her heart was slowly losing itself.
What's worse?
A few years later, she made a foolish mistake of severing herself and becoming connected to this man, for eternity.
Now, things beca even worse, she was now able to sense the man's thoughts any ti she desired, she could now peek into the man's mind and her curiosity took the better of her.
Still wanting to understand that look and whether what he said about his wives was indeed the truth, she started sensing his emotions.
And then it happened.
The instant she tried it, her mind was overwheld with such a strong love that she couldn't even believe that it was real.
The outright craziness, the feeling of possessiveness, the need to always be in their presence, Lyriana could sense it all. It was so suffocating and in no way healthy, yet…
She… she started to like this feeling.
The only problem was… that this feeling wasn't directed at her.
It was directed at those won—won who had lost their minds and directed the sa feeling at him.
Lyriana… turned into a spectator.
She saw every ti the man and his wives were together, she sensed the heavy love Nux had for his wives, love that couldn't be described with words, she sensed every single emotion, so very much that she…
She felt envious.
She always wanted to explore the vast world, the vast Universe now, she wanted to see everything there was but…
These people were completely opposite, they were satisfied with each other's presence, as if they were each other's world. The only reason these people even bothered getting stronger was so that they could explore it together and be safe.
It was such a strange thought process and yet…
It made the most sense.
What made things even worse was that now she couldn't stop sensing Nux's emotions. So every ti he was with his wives and his already strong emotions get even stronger, it affects her mind as well.
She doesn't just beco a spectator, she feels everything that happens in a certain way, and with her body that had now started to feel desire again, things beca even more complicated for her.
Her heart knew what she desired, but her mind had so much control over her heart that it couldn't express what it wanted and was in constant, silent pain.
At least that was the case till just a few monts ago,
But now…
"Did you love your husband?"
But now that all these heavy emotions were directed at her, her heart's desire got much stronger than before.
It wasn't just her heart, her body itself had started moving, her desire had now reached its peak, it was now her heart and body against her mind.
And with Nux's words constantly weakening her mind, it wasn't exactly a fair battle.
"H-He was still my husband."
"That is not the answer to my question, Lyriana."
"…"
Lyriana montarily turned silent.
Her mind raced and she finally ca up with a strong answer,
"Do you think your wives will ever find another man if sothing happens to you?"
"My wives love ."
Nux's answer was instantaneous. Then, he tightened his hug around the woman and,
"Did you love your husband as much as my wives love ?"
"…"
Lyriana turned silent at that question, the answer couldn't be clearer, for both her mind and her heart.
Then suddenly, Nux asked a strange question.
"Do you like this?"
The Forr Queen frowned, she turned her head towards Nux with a frown,
"Like wha-"
She wanted to ask a question but then,
Nux sealed her lips.
